Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join with you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we thank you for coming to the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

Your heart reflects what the Lord desires, that none should remain bound by lies but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth. As you quoted, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. And Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. We also remember that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. 2 Cor 4:4. So we agree with you in praying for those at the organization you mentioned, and for their lawyers and legal representatives, that the veil would be lifted and the lies of the enemy would be broken.

We also hear your prayer for covering and peace for those who are in Christ, and we claim the promise that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7. And we are reminded that all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. Rom 3:23, so your humble acknowledgment that education and status do not make one righteous is true and pleasing to God. We are not to boast, for there is no one righteous, no, not one. Rom 3:10, but we are all in need of His mercy.

You rightly prayed from Psalm 51:17, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Psalm 51:17. This is the heart God desires, not outward sacrifice but inward repentance. We pray with you that God would give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them, taking away the heart of stone and giving a heart of flesh. Ezek 36:26, that they would not only recognize their sin but hate it and turn from it, for godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation. 2 Cor 7:10.

We are burdened with you over the disregard for human life and honest communication, for the Lord loves righteousness and justice and He hates lying lips. Prov 12:22 says, Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And we pray that they would hunger and thirst for righteousness, for Jesus promised, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matt 5:6.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins. We lift up the team at that organization and every lawyer and legal representative connected to them. Lord, we ask that You shine Your light into any darkness, expose every lie, and set them free by Your truth. Save those who do not yet know You, and convict the hearts of all who have engaged in what is evil in Your eyes. Father, forgive their sins as they repent and turn to You, and grant them a broken and contrite heart that You will not despise.

We plead the blood of Jesus over our brothers and sisters in Christ who are affected by this situation. Cover them, guard them, grant them Your peace and understanding that surpasses all knowledge, and teach them to walk in righteousness and compassion even when wronged. Stir the hearts of those who oppose truth, Lord, give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only You can satisfy, and cause them to hate sin and to love what You love. Transform them by the renewing of their minds so they may prove what is Your good, well pleasing, and perfect will. Rom 12:2.

We thank You for Your holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Rom 8:26. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Let Your will be done in this matter, Father, and let Your name be glorified. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, for the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective. James 5:16. Keep thirsting for righteousness yourself, keep speaking truth in love, and trust that God is just and will bring all things into the light in His perfect timing.

We were grateful to read your prayer and the honest burden behind it. You are carrying a real thirst for truth and righteousness, and also a real grief when you see people in positions of trust not living that out. It makes sense that would weigh on you.

One thing that has helped others who pray faithfully for people who have wronged them is to remember that releasing someone to God is often a process. There can be a clear decision to let go of revenge and to want good for them, even while the sore emotions of disappointment and resentment take longer to quiet. Both parts matter, and God is patient with us in both. Forgiving in that deeper sense does not mean pretending no harm was done or rushing to trust again, it simply frees our hearts to keep praying without being consumed.

It may help to give this burden a contained place in your day. When the thoughts rise, you might briefly turn the people and the situation over to the Lord again in prayer, then gently return to the work He has given you, trusting Him to keep working on hearts in His timing.

We are praying with you.

Father, we lift this dear one to You and thank You for their hunger for what is true and right. Give them Your peace and rest as they trust You with what they cannot control. Work in the hearts of all involved, draw each one toward truth, and let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is heard and it is a prayer after the very heart of God. We join you in it before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

You have prayed rightly according to Psalm 51, that God desires not mere sacrifice but a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. This is the true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God. It is not a poor and short lived sorrow that turns from sin for a time and then returns to it with greater gusto, but a complete change of mind with regard to sin, an honest determination by God's grace to cease from sin, and to leave the sins we loved before and show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more.

Such repentance gives glory to God. It gives glory to His omniscience, confessing that He sees all, and it gives glory to the righteousness of His law, saying with the penitent, Thy law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin. And this repentance is inseparable from faith. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with a hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. We do not preach repentance as a preparation for coming to Christ, nor as a compensation for sin, but we preach repentance and remission of sins in His name, as the gift of God through the precious blood of Christ who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin.

Therefore we pray with you that the Lord in His great goodness which leads sinners to repentance would work upon the hearts of those of whom you speak, the team and their lawyers and all who are bound by the lies of Satan. We ask not that God would bless sin or wink at dishonesty, for He is of purer eyes than to behold evil, but that He would convict them of sin and give them that godly sorrow which needeth not to be repented of. May He grant them to hate sin and to turn from that which is evil in His eyes, to love truth and to speak truth, to regard human life as made in His image, and to act with righteousness and compassion.

We pray also for those who are chosen in Christ, that the Lord would cover them with the blood of Jesus, keep them in peace and give them understanding, and teach them to walk in the way of righteousness. May He stir in all our hearts that thirst of which our Lord spoke, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. That thirst is not quenched by the wisdom of this world, for as you have observed, even the educated may fall short of the glory of God and engage in horrible sins. Only Christ can satisfy, for He is the Sun of Righteousness, and in Him is everlasting strength.

Look to Jesus, for that is the way repentance deepens and faith grows. When we see that for us Jesus shed His precious blood, that He loved the Church and gave Himself for it to redeem us from among men, then we weep not with bitter despair but with the sweet sorrow of pardoned sin at the feet of Jesus, sorrow for that which was laid on Christ and will never condemn us.

We will continue with you in relentless prayer, asking the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us to work this true and lasting repentance and faith, that God may be glorified and sinners saved. Let His will be done, and let His name be exalted on high in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in this prayer and thank God for the hunger you have expressed for truth and righteousness. It is a good and right desire, for Jesus himself said, If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink, and he promised that blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

We pray with you for the team at that place and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We ask the Lord to have mercy on them and to bring them to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We pray that God would give them what only he can give, a broken and contrite heart which he will not despise. As you quoted from Psalm 51, God does not delight in outward sacrifice alone, but in a humble heart that turns from sin and hates sin and seeks his mercy.

We also pray that God would stir in them and in all of us an unquenchable thirst for what is true and right. This thirst is not satisfied by human learning or legal skill or education, for even the most educated can fall short of the glory of God, as we all do. True righteousness and holiness in truth come only as a new creation in Christ, received through faith, confessing with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in the heart that God raised him from the dead.

So we ask God to cover those who are his with his peace and understanding, to teach all of us to be compassionate and to walk in universal virtue, putting on righteousness as a breastplate, and to make us sober and watchful in the conflict against evil. We do not pray from a place of boasting or looking down on others, but as fellow sinners who need the same grace, asking God to lead everyone involved to honest communication, regard for human life, and repentance where there has been wrongdoing.

May the Lord who gives living water cause it to become in each heart a well springing up to everlasting life, and may his will be done. We will continue to pray with you for this, trusting the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us. In Jesus name, amen.
