Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we agree with you before the Father in Jesus' name.

We are encouraged by your heart that does not seek to boast or to look down on others but humbly asks God to work in the hearts of those who have fallen short of His glory, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23. It is right that you recognize that education and knowledge of the law does not make a person righteous, for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, 1 Corinthians 3:19, and the heart is deceitful above all things, Jeremiah 17:9. Only the Holy Spirit can give a new heart and a love for what is true and just.

You rightly pray that the truth shall set them free, as Jesus said, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, John 8:32. Jesus Himself is the truth, for He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. Apart from Him there is no true righteousness and no lasting freedom, for the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, 2 Corinthians 4:4, and only Christ can open eyes. We also remember the promise, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, Matthew 5:6. That hunger is not natural to the fallen heart, it must be given by God, and so we ask Him to stir it as you have prayed.

We love that you quoted Psalm 51:16-17, For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. This is exactly what those who are bound by lies need, not outward religion or legal skill, but a brokenness over sin and a turning to God. We pray with you that God would grant repentance, that they would come to hate their sin and not continue in it, for godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, 2 Corinthians 7:10. And we join you in pleading the precious blood of Christ over those who are His, for we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, Ephesians 1:7, and we ask for His covering, peace and understanding for them, and that He would teach all involved to do what is good and right, for He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God, Micah 6:8.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that we have access to You only through Him. We lift up to You the team and their lawyers and legal representatives that were mentioned, and all who are involved in this matter. Lord, where there are lies, deception, and disregard for human life and honest communication, we ask You to shine Your light and expose darkness. Give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. Take away the stony heart and give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them, Ezekiel 36:26. Grant them a broken and contrite heart that You will not despise. Convict them of sin and lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, that their sins may be forgiven through His blood. For those who are already Yours and are chosen in Christ, we ask You to cover them, keep them in Your perfect peace, grant them understanding and wisdom, and teach them to be righteous and compassionate even under pressure. Let Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us guide them into all truth, John 16:13, and help them to love justice and to do no evil in Your eyes. We do not ask for vengeance but for Your will to be done and for Your name to be exalted, that truth would prevail and that all would come to know Jesus as Lord. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying as you intercede for the team at ### and their lawyers. It is painful to watch people disregard truth and honest communication and human dignity, and we are grateful for the humble way you have brought them before the Lord without boasting or contempt, simply asking for mercy and for hearts that turn from what is evil.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for righteousness reflects God's own heart. Education and legal training can sharpen the mind, but only God can soften and change the heart. That is why your focus on asking Him to work within them is so right. Lasting transformation is His work, and He hears the prayers offered in Jesus' name through His Spirit who intercedes for us and for them.

We understand how grieving this has been for you, and we want to keep standing with you in it. We do not always see change as quickly as we hope, but we can trust Him to be at work even when we cannot see it. One steady way forward is to keep bringing these specific people before the Lord at a set time each day, and also to ask Him to guard your own peace as you wait. He knows the burden this has placed on you and He is near to sustain you as you continue to seek Him.

Father, we lift to You the team at ### and each lawyer and representative involved. Draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to truth, and give them hearts that love what is right and compassionate. Cover those who are Yours with Your peace and understanding, and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We join our hearts with yours in this holy petition which you have poured out before the throne of grace, and we thank God that He has put within you such a thirst for truth and righteousness, for blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Your prayer is most scriptural and most needful. You have rightly pleaded that precious promise, the truth shall set you free, and you have rightly turned to that Psalm which teaches us what God requires, not sacrifice nor burnt offering, but a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. This is the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts. It is not a poor and short lived sorrow which turns from sin for a time and then returns to it with greater gusto, but a complete change of mind with regard to sin, an honest determination by God's grace to cease from sin, and to give glory to the omniscience and the righteousness of God. The truly penitent man says, Lord, Thy law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin. Such repentance gives glory to God and leaps for joy at the thought that God has set forth Christ to be a propitiation for sin.

Remember also that repentance and faith are inseparable. As we have often taught, repentance is to leave the sins we loved before and show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more, and no faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. Any repentance that keeps a soul from believing in Christ is a repentance that needs to be repented of. We are to look to Jesus, for repentance and remission of sins are to be preached in His name, and where there is true godly sorrow there is full and free forgiveness through the blood of Jesus, a pardon bought with Jesus blood, even for crimes of deepest dye, if the sinner has truly repented.

Therefore we will pray with you and for you. We beseech the Lord that His goodness, which now spares these souls, may lead them to repentance, as it is written that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance. May the Holy Spirit work upon the hearts of this team, their lawyers and representatives, to convince them of sin, to give them that brokenness which He will not despise, to make them to hate the sin they once loved, and to thirst unquenchably after truth and righteousness. May He teach them to be righteous and compassionate, to love honest communication and to regard human life as sacred before God, and may their repentance, if God grant it, be practical and lasting, yielding works meet for repentance, continuing not for a day or a month, but for a life.

We pray this not from a spirit of boasting, nor as those who would look down upon others, for we also have fallen short of the glory of God, but as those who know that we ourselves must daily indulge that sweet sorrow at the feet of Jesus, sorrow for pardoned sin, and who know that Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it, shedding His precious blood with a special view to the redemption of His own.

May the Lord cover with His precious blood all who are chosen in Christ and grant them peace and understanding. And may He, who is the Sun of Righteousness, arise upon those yet in darkness, that they may see their sin, abhor it, and flee to Christ who alone can save. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation, trusting that the Lord will do that which is right and holy according to His will. Amen.

Your prayer is pleasing to God and we join with you in it. To hunger and thirst after righteousness is blessed, for Christ Himself said, blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. And again He cried out, if anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink, and He that believes on Me, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.

This thirst is not a casual wish. As thirsty people take a cup and eagerly drink until it is drained, so we must kindle in ourselves a great zeal and longing for what is true and holy. Christ does not draw us by force, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire to come willingly to Him.

We pray with you for the team at that place and for their lawyers and representatives. We do not boast before God, and we do not look down on them, for all have fallen short of His glory, whether learned or unlearned. Education in the law does not make a person righteous. True righteousness and holiness are not a matter of outward form or human learning, but are of the truth and are given as a new creation in Christ.

We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation comes, to have mercy on them. May He grant them what He alone delights in, a broken spirit and a broken and contrite heart, which He will not despise. May He show them their sin, not that they might weep only with tears as Esau did and yet remain unchanged, but that they might truly hate sin and turn from it. Forgive their sins, Lord, through the precious blood of Jesus, and teach them to walk in righteousness and compassion, to honor human life and to speak honestly.

We pray that You would give them, and give to all of us, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and that You would put on them the breastplate of righteousness, which is a life of universal virtue that no temptation can easily pierce. Let those who belong to Christ be covered and kept in Your peace and understanding, and let Your Holy Spirit, who intercedes for us, work in every heart to bring conviction, repentance, and new life.
