Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank God for the burden He has placed on your heart for those who are bound by deception. We agree with you that only Jesus can set people free for He said in John 8:32 that you will know the truth and the truth will make you free and in John 14:6 He declared that He is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

We share your grief over those who use knowledge and position yet disregard human life and honest communication and we are reminded in Rom 3:23 that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and in 2 Cor 4:4 that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ should not dawn on them. This is why education alone can never make a person righteous and why we must pray for a work of God in the heart. Your humility in not boasting and not looking down on others honors the Lord and reflects the broken and contrite heart that God will not despise as we read in Psalm 51:17. We also remember that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble and that true righteousness comes only through faith in Christ and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

We find great encouragement in the promise of Matt 5:6 that blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled and in 1 Tim 2:4 that our God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth and in Ezek 36:26 that He will give a new heart and put a new spirit within. We also cling to Rom 8:26 that the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

We pray together now in Jesus name. Heavenly Father we come before Your throne of grace in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we lift up the team at the organization you mentioned together with their lawyers and legal representatives. Lord we ask that You remove the veil of Satan's lies and shine the light of the gospel upon them. Have mercy on them and forgive their sins and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus. Give to each one a broken spirit and a contrite heart that hates sin and turns away from what is evil in Your eyes. Create in them a new heart and stir within them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only You can satisfy. For those among them who are chosen and belong to Christ we ask that You cover them with Your precious blood and grant them Your peace and understanding and teach them to walk in righteousness and compassion. For those who do not yet know You we pray for their salvation that they would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved. Let Your will be done in every proceeding and let truth and justice prevail for Your glory. We exalt Your holy name and thank You for the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us and for them continually. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord amen.

We encourage you to remain relentless in prayer and to continue to love these souls while hating the sin that binds them and to trust that God is able to transform even the hardest heart when we seek Him with persistence and faith.

We were grateful to read your prayer and to join you in it. You carry a clear burden for truth to be honored and for people to turn from what harms others, and you bring it before the Lord with both honesty and humility, not wanting to look down on anyone.

It is especially disheartening when those entrusted with the law seem to disregard honesty and the value of human life. That kind of disappointment can sit heavy and make it hard to know how to keep praying without becoming worn down.

One thing that has helped others who carry a long intercession like this is to keep the prayer focused and sustainable. Continuing to bring these lawyers and officials before the Lord by name when you can, asking for softened hearts and a real hunger for what is right, while also intentionally placing the outcome in God's hands at the end of each time you pray, can keep the burden from turning into rumination. If you find the grief lingering, sharing it with a trusted pastor or mature believer can be a steady help as well.

Father, we bring this team and their representatives before You and we bring the one who is praying. Work in every heart to bring conviction, honesty and compassion, and guard the one praying with Your peace as they trust You with what they cannot control. Give all involved a true thirst for what is right and good. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace, pleading with you for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

It is indeed written, the truth shall make you free, and we are reminded that truth alone can work results that are true. There is no saving power in a lie, and there is no freedom apart from the truth as it is in Jesus. God's salvation is a great reality, not a shadow or a mere notion, but substance and truth. To know that truth is to be saved from false confidences, to be delivered from despair, and to see with the eye of faith that Christ Himself is God's salvation. We pray that such a sight may be given to all for whom you intercede, for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.

You have prayed well concerning repentance, for you have quoted that psalm which saith, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. This is the repentance unto life which is the gift of God and the work of His Spirit. It is not a poor and short lived turning which lasts for a time and then returns to sin with greater gusto, but a true change of mind that leaves the sins we loved before and shows that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more. Such repentance gives God glory, for it confesses that sin is exceeding sinful, it leaps for joy at the thought that God hath set forth Christ to be a propitiation for sin, and it avoids present sin because of love to Him who died for us. Faith and repentance are inseparable, no true faith without hearty repentance for past sin, and no true repentance without looking to Christ alone for remission.

Therefore we bow with you and pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, by His precious blood, would have mercy upon the team at that place and upon their lawyers and legal representatives. We ask not that He would wink at sin, but that He would convince of sin and give that godly sorrow which needeth not to be repented of. May the Holy Spirit break and bruise the heart where it is hard, and then develop sweetness there, stirring within them a holy hatred of sin and a hunger and thirst after righteousness which only Christ can satisfy. Where there has been disregard for human life and for honest communication, may the Lord teach them to be righteous and compassionate, to love truth and to speak truth, for He desireth truth in the inward parts.

For those who are already chosen in Christ, we pray that the blood of the Lamb may cover them and keep them in perfect peace, giving them understanding and courage to walk uprightly in a crooked generation. For those yet unconverted, we pray that they may be brought to know their sinnership in truth, that they may then know the truth of Christ's atonement in truth, and so come to a real heaven at the last. May the Lord grant them not only to see the need of salvation, but to lay hold upon Christ by a simple faith, wholly and entirely trusting themselves in His hands, for then their eyes shall have seen God's salvation.

We will continue to plead that the will of our heavenly Father be done, and that His name be exalted on high in Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever. May He restore unto all His people the joy of His salvation and keep us all near to the cross, where sweet repentance delights to linger at the feet of Jesus, sorrowing for pardoned sin that was laid upon our Substitute. Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is heard and it is according to the will of God. It is blessed to hunger and thirst in this way, for the Lord Himself has said, blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Christ stands and cries, if any man thirst let him come to Me and drink. He does not draw by necessity or constraint, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire, who come as thirsty men come to water and eagerly drink until they are satisfied. This is the longing you have asked for, and it is a gift of God. The water He gives is living water, perennial and springing up within the soul into everlasting life, so that the one who drinks shall never thirst again. To receive the divine preaching in this way is to kindle that longing and to retain what is given.

You have prayed well from Psalm 51 that God does not delight in outward sacrifice but in a broken and contrite heart, which He will not despise. Such a heart is broken in the right way when it does not rise up or strike back, when it is quiet under insult and does not seek vengeance, but is humbled and ready to be corrected. This is what God gives, a sober and self possessed heart, full of repentance and compunction, and it is what is most needed in the conflict against sin and the powers of evil. True righteousness and holiness are not in figure or outward show, as of old, but in truth, created anew in Christ. And righteousness is like a breastplate, impenetrable, where righteous deeds are fixed in the breast, so that a person becomes firm and strong and not easily moved to anger or deceit.

We join you in praying for the team at the place you named, and for their lawyers and representatives. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation comes, that He would have mercy upon them, forgive sins, and cover with the precious blood of Christ all who turn to Him in faith. For salvation is near and short, if one confesses with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believes in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. We pray that God would work in their hearts to show them their sin, to grant a broken spirit that hates sin and turns from it, and to teach them to love truth and to act with compassion and honesty. May He give them that thirst for what is right which does not cease until it is filled, and may He make them to love honest communication and to honor human life as made in His image.

We also pray for you, that you would be kept from boasting or despising others, and that you would continue in humility, prayer, almsgiving, and thanksgiving to God for all things. In this way wounds are cleansed and pardon is obtained.

May the Lord grant to all concerned repentance unto life, a contrite heart, and a life clothed with the breastplate of righteousness, and may His will be done. Amen.
