Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we stand with you before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are encouraged by your humility and your heart that does not boast and does not look down on others but grieves over sin and the disregard for human life and honest communication. For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23, and there is none righteous on our own. Even those most educated in the law can fall into horrible sins, for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, 1 Corinthians 3:19, and God will destroy the wisdom of the wise, 1 Corinthians 1:19. Righteousness does not come from knowledge or degrees but from a broken and contrite heart that God will not despise, Psalm 51:17, and from being born again through Christ.

We love that you have come in the name of Jesus, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through His precious blood that we have forgiveness and access to the Father, and we thank God that you have prayed in that name.

We agree with you that the truth shall make you free, John 8:32, and we pray that the Lord will indeed set free the team you mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives who are bound by the lies of the enemy. We pray that God who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4, would open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light. We ask Him to give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them and take away the stony heart out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, Ezekiel 36:26, so that they may recognize their sin, hate their sin, and turn from it in true repentance.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be uttered, Romans 8:26. Lord, we lift up this team and their lawyers and all who are involved. Where there have been lies, bring Your truth. Where there has been disregard for life and for honest communication, bring conviction and godly sorrow that produces repentance. Forgive their sins as they repent and turn to You, and let them do no more evil in Your sight. Cover Your chosen ones and all who are in Christ with the blood of Jesus, grant them peace that passes all understanding, Philippians 4:7, and understanding and wisdom from above. Teach them to hunger and thirst for righteousness, for blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, Matthew 5:6. Stir their hearts Lord until they cannot be satisfied with anything less than Your truth and Your righteousness and Your compassion. Let Your will be done in this situation as it is in heaven. We ask that justice and mercy would kiss and that even those who have opposed what is right would become vessels of Your grace and testimony to Your power to save.

We encourage you to continue in relentless prayer, for we ought always to pray and not to faint, Luke 18:1, and to pray without ceasing, 1 Thessalonians 5:17. God hears the prayers of the righteous and He is faithful to transform hearts that seem hardened. Keep seeking Him with a broken spirit and trust that He who began a good work will perfect it. We stand with you asking for that unquenchable thirst to be poured out on all involved, that they may be made free indeed by the Son, John 8:36, and walk in newness of life.

We hear the weight you are carrying in this prayer, the grief over dishonesty and disregard for life, and the longing for hearts to be softened toward what is true and right. It is a heavy burden to keep bringing others before the Lord, especially when you have seen how learning and position do not keep anyone from doing wrong.

We are thankful with you that you are not wanting to look down on anyone, but to ask God to do a deep work in them. That kind of prayer takes humility and perseverance, and it can also leave you tired if you hold it alone. One thing that has helped others who pray this way is to have a steady place to bring the burden and then entrust it to God, rather than carrying it through the whole day. It can help to set a regular time to pray for this team and their representatives, and to share that burden with one trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray alongside you and encourage you.

We join you in asking for God to work in all hearts involved, including your own, with His peace and understanding as you continue to seek Him.

Father, we lift this team and their lawyers to You and ask You to draw them to Yourself and to a love for truth. Work in their hearts to bring conviction, honesty, and compassion, and guard those who have been harmed. Give our friend rest and clarity as they continue to pray, and let Your will be done. Your prayer has the very mark of a heart taught by God, for you ask not for revenge upon those who have wronged you, but for mercy upon them, that they may be saved from Satan's lies and brought to hate their sin and thirst after righteousness.

It is well written, the truth shall make you free, and I can say with you, for the revelation of the Infallible Truth in the Bible, for the Atonement by blood and the immutable love of the ever blessed Three in One, I am a witness. The slave of systems I will never be, for the Lord has loosed this iron bondage from my neck, and now I am the joyful servant of the truth which maketh free. When Christ saves a man, He proves the Book true to him, for when it has saved him from his fears and rescued him from his sins and brought him into life and light and liberty, he is absolutely certain that it is true because he has tried and tested it.

You do well to pray that the Lord would work upon their hearts, for you have quoted rightly, my sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. God loves the heart of the suppliant to be poured out before Him. The best prayer is when a man can take his heart and turn it bottom upwards and let all that is in it run out. That is the style of praying that has most influence with God. Continue then to pour out your heart as you have done.

Take heed to what you ask, that it be a true repentance you seek for them. There is a repentance which springs alone from terror, which comes up in a night and withers in a night, which only affects the surface of the man and does not go to the heart. It is hardly more than skin deep and God abhors it. Beware of that superficial repentance, for men may turn away from sin for a time but then go back to it with greater gusto. The really repentant one hates sin as sin and turns from it with purpose of heart, because he has found there is a deadly poison in its sweetness and therefore he loathes it and leaves it. Repentance stands at the Cross and sees sin forgiven and then repents more than ever. Pray therefore not only that they may be sorry for being found out, but that they may loathe evil and thirst after that righteousness which is only found in Christ. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, and that filling comes only by looking unto Him of whom it is written, Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.

Our afflictions may come distinctly from man, as the result of persecution or malice, and yet they may come with even greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to us. For this reason we may wisely moderate our anger against second causes. Surely there is nothing better for a man of God than to perceive that his smarts and sorrows come from his Father's hand, for then he will say, The will of the Lord be done. The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. It is not killing, but curing, that God means when He takes the sharp lancet in His hands. So you have prayed well not to boast nor to look down upon these lawyers, but to acknowledge that education cannot make a man righteous. Only the precious blood can cover sin and only the Holy Spirit can give peace and understanding and teach a man to be compassionate.

Remember also that the Lord Jesus Christ lives to pray for sinners. He bids His servants go and preach repentance and remission of sins in His name among all nations. His word to them and to you is, Turn from your sin and I will turn from My anger. Quit your sin and your sin is forgiven. Leave it, loathe it, and He will grant immediate pardon for the sake of the great atoning Sacrifice. He delights in mercy. His compassions fail not. He has found an immense price in His own bosom where His only begotten and well beloved Son was lying, and has given up Himself to bleed and die for mortal men.

Be steadfast then in this relentless prayer. Ask that the Lord would give them that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness which only He can create and only He can satisfy, that they may be delivered from the pit and set free by that ransom which God Himself has found. And for those who are chosen and are in Christ, pray that they may be covered and kept, and may sing, My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed, I will sing and give praise. Let your will be done, and let us trust Him to do it in His own time and way, for His mercy endures forever.
