Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we thank you for coming before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus.

We agree with your heart that the truth of Christ is what sets men free, for it is written John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Jesus Himself said John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is no other way to be saved and no other name by which we have access to God, and we rejoice that you have come in that precious name.

We also hear your burden for the team you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives. You are right to discern that education and legal training do not guarantee righteousness, for it is written Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, and also 1 Cor 1:27 but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. We must not boast before God nor look down on others with pride, but humbly recognize that every heart needs the conviction and cleansing that only Jesus can bring. We rebuke the lies of Satan that bind them and the horrible sins that disregard human life and honest communication, for it is written Prov 21:15 It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity. We pray against every deception and every evil intent done in Your eyes.

We love the scripture you lifted from Psalm 51:16-17 For you don't delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. That is our prayer for them, that God would grant them that broken and contrite heart to recognize their sin, to hate their sin, and to turn from living a sinful life. We pray Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, that the Lord would indeed stir their hearts and give them that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that you are asking for.

We lift up those who are chosen and who are Christians among them, that the precious blood of Jesus would cover them and keep them, and we pray Numbers 6:24-26 that the Lord would give them peace and understanding and teach them to be righteous and compassionate. We pray that the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us according to Rom 8:26 would continue to work on every heart involved, bringing conviction, repentance, forgiveness, and understanding.

Heavenly Father, we come together in Jesus name and ask that Your will be done. Forgive the sins of those who have done evil in Your sight, and let them not continue in darkness. Create in them a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them. Let Your truth expose every lie, let Your righteousness reign over every legal proceeding and every communication, and let Your Holy Spirit draw them to repentance and salvation. Cover Your people with the blood of Christ, grant them peace that passes understanding, and make them vessels of truth and compassion. We exalt Your holy name, Lord Jesus, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray according to Your will. We pray this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden so honestly. We can hear how much it grieves you to see truth disregarded and life treated lightly, especially by those entrusted with the law. Wanting God to stir hearts toward truth and righteousness is a good and right prayer.

Carrying that grief day after day can wear on you. When we are hurt by dishonesty, it is easy to replay it over and over until resentment takes root. One thing that has helped others is to make a clear decision to leave justice in God's hands while still honestly naming the wrong, and then to ask Him to keep your own heart soft with compassion rather than bitterness. It does not excuse what is wrong, it just frees you to keep praying without being consumed.

It may help to set a dedicated time each day to bring this team and their representatives before the Lord as you have here, and when the thoughts press in at other times, quietly entrust them again to Him and step back into the work He has given you for that hour.

Father, we bring this team and their lawyers before You in Jesus' name. Work in their hearts to love truth and to turn from what is evil in Your sight, and guard our friend with Your peace and understanding as they wait on You. Let Your will be done, amen.

It is a right and needful prayer you have offered, to ask the Lord for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. To intercede for those who are yet bound by the lies of Satan, and to plead that the precious blood of Christ might cover and cleanse, is to pray as our Lord would have us pray, who came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

You have well quoted the Psalm, that the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. This is that true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God. It is not a poor and short lived sorrow which turns from sin for a time and then returns to it with greater gusto, but a repentance which gives glory to the omniscience and to the righteousness of God, saying with the penitent, Thy law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin. As the children's hymn rightly defines it, repentance is to leave the sins we loved before, and show that we in earnest grieve, by doing so no more. It is a complete change of mind with regard to sin, an honest determination by God's grace to cease from sin, and it is inseparably linked with faith in Him who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin.

Where there is such godly sorrow, there is the full and free forgiveness of all sins through Jesus Christ alone, for repentance and remission of sins are to be preached in His name and in no other. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. It is His blood, shed with a special view to the redemption of His people, that alone can wash away crimes of deepest dye and give peace and understanding to the troubled conscience.

We join you therefore in praying that the Lord in His goodness, which ought to lead men to repentance, would work upon the hearts of these souls of whom you speak, that they may come to hate the sin they once loved, to thirst as the hart pants after the water brooks for that righteousness which is found only in Christ, and to walk in honest and compassionate dealing before God and man. May He grant them that practical repentance which yields works meet for repentance and which lasts, not for a day or a month, but unto eternal life. And may He keep those who are already His, covered under that blood, and taught daily to sorrow for pardoned sin at the feet of Jesus, which is the sweet and exquisite delight of the believer.

We will continue to bear this burden before the throne of grace with you, asking that the Sun of Righteousness may arise upon them with healing in His wings, and that the will of our Heavenly Father may be done, to the glory of His holy name. Amen.

Your prayer is good and pleasing to God, for you ask for what He Himself has promised to bless. Christ said, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, and again, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He does not draw us by force, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire, who come as thirsty people come to water, eager to drink and to keep what they receive. To pray for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is to pray according to His own invitation, that out of the heart may flow rivers of living water.

We join you in praying both for those who need mercy and for those who need protection. For the team and the lawyers and representatives you mention, we pray as you have prayed, that God would work on their hearts. The Scripture you quoted is true, the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart God will not despise. Such a heart does not rise up to strike or to seek vengeance, but is quiet under insult and ready to turn from sin. We ask the Lord to grant them this brokenness, not mere outward correctness, but the righteousness and holiness of truth which comes through being made new in Christ. Even the educated and those trained in the law can fall into terrible sins, for knowledge of the law does not itself make a person righteous. True righteousness is not a figure or a form, but a life of universal virtue, like a breastplate that guards the heart, and it comes only through faith.

So we pray that God would stir them to hate the sin they have loved, to love honest speech and to honor human life, and to thirst for what is right more than for gain or advantage. We pray that they would hear the short and near word of salvation, that if they confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, they will be saved. There is no other way to be set free, for as you said, the truth shall set you free, and Christ Himself is the truth. May He forgive their sins through His precious blood, if they will turn to Him, and teach them to be compassionate and just.

And for those who are chosen in Christ, we ask the same blood to cover them and keep them. May the Lord give them peace and understanding, and clothe them with the breastplate of righteousness, so that though many may wound them, they will not be overthrown, but will remain firm and not be put out of temper by evil. May they continue to hunger for righteousness, not with covetous desire for more and more for themselves, but with desire to do what is pleasing to God.

We thank God that His Holy Spirit intercedes for us all. Let us continue to pray without boasting and without looking down on others, remembering that we all fall short of His glory and all need the same mercy. May the Lord grant to all an ever springing well within, that they may never thirst again but have water springing up to everlasting life, and may His will be done. Amen.
