Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we agree with you before the throne of grace in Jesus name.

Your heart to see those who are bound by lies set free is pleasing to the Lord, for it is written you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, John 8:32 and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6. We too long to see every heart, including those in positions of education and legal influence, come to that truth. For we know that wisdom and righteousness do not come from degrees or knowledge of the law, but from the Lord alone. As it is written, God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise, 1 Corinthians 1:27 and all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23. We humbly acknowledge with you that no one is righteous on their own and we do not boast, for we also depend entirely on mercy.

We are encouraged by your humble spirit that echoes Psalm 51:17, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. That is the work only God can do, to take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, Ezekiel 36:26, and to cause a person to hate sin and turn from it. We pray with you that the Holy Spirit who helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us according to the will of God, Romans 8:26-27, would convict and soften hearts that have disregarded human life and honest communication.

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, we come to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank you that you desire all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4. We lift up this team and their lawyers and legal representatives to you. Lord, where they are bound by Satan's lies, shine your light and set them free. Where any are your chosen and belong to you, cover them with the precious blood of Jesus, grant them peace that passes all understanding, Philippians 4:7, and give them understanding and wisdom from above. Teach them to hunger and thirst for righteousness, for you have promised blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, Matthew 5:6. Forgive sins, Lord, as you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess, 1 John 1:9. Create in them a broken and contrite heart that they may recognize their sin, hate it, and turn from walking in a sinful way. Stir their hearts, Father, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they would do nothing evil in your eyes but walk in compassion and integrity. Guide them into all truth by your Holy Spirit, John 16:13, and let your will be done in this situation as it is in heaven. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ and thank you for hearing us, amen.

We encourage you to remain relentless in prayer, for the effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much, James 5:16. Keep interceding with love, not looking down on those who fall short, but remembering that we were also once in darkness until Christ called us into his marvelous light, 1 Peter 2:9. Continue to pray that they would not only know about truth as a concept, but would know Him who is the Truth, and be transformed to live righteously and compassionately for your glory.

We hear how much this situation has weighed on you, especially watching people who should know better act without honesty or regard for life. It is disheartening, and it makes sense that you would bring this before the Lord so earnestly.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is a good and right one. We cannot make another person hunger for what is right, no matter how educated or powerful they are. Real change happens only as God works in the heart, softening what is hard and opening eyes to see sin for what it is. That is why your steady intercession matters, even when you see little change day to day.

One thing that has helped others carrying a similar burden is to keep the prayer focused and sustainable. You might set aside a brief, regular time to lift this team and their representatives by name as you know them, asking for God to draw them to Himself, to give clarity and compassion, and then consciously place the outcome in His hands for the rest of the day. It keeps the burden before Jesus without letting grief or cynicism settle in your own heart.

Your prayer breathes the very spirit which God delights to answer, for you ask not for vengeance but for that true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which gives glory to God.

You have prayed well in citing that Psalm, for the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise. This is the repentance we must seek for these souls and for ourselves, not a poor and short lived repentance which turns from sin for a time and then goes back to it with greater gusto, but a complete change of mind with regard to sin, an honest determination by God's grace to cease from sin. As the children's hymn truly says, repentance is to leave the sins we loved before, and show that we in earnest grieve, by doing so no more.

You are right to note that education and knowledge of the law cannot make a man righteous. The truly penitent gives glory to the righteousness of God in His Law and says, Lord, Your Law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin. No learning can supply what only grace can give. Where there is real sorrow for sin, that repentance has been produced by the Spirit of God and it is as much a gift of His grace as faith itself, for no faith can be genuine but such as is perfectly consistent with repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith in Christ.

Therefore let us pray together that the Lord will work upon these hearts. May His goodness lead them to repentance, for He spares and is kind that sinners may turn to Him. May He show them that Christ was nailed to the cross for sin, and that to look to Jesus is the way to find repentance. For there is pardon for crimes of deepest dye, a pardon bought with Jesus blood, but where there is no repentance there can be no remission, and where there is true repentance there is full and free forgiveness for all who sincerely repent and trust Him.

We will join you in asking the Father in Jesus name to stir these hearts, to give them that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness which only Christ can satisfy, to cover His chosen with the precious blood of Christ and to grant peace and understanding according to His will. May they come to hate sin and to love righteousness, not for reward or fear of loss, but because they have seen the One who is altogether lovely, and may they find that Christ Jesus is set forth to be a propitiation for sin, in whom there is no condemnation for all who truly trust Him.

May the Lord teach us all to live out a practical repentance that lasts, that yields works meet for repentance, and that leaps for joy at the thought that God has provided salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We will continue to pray that His will be done and that His name be exalted on high. Amen.
