Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you wholeheartedly in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we agree with you in Jesus name for the team you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives.

We are encouraged by your humility in acknowledging that we cannot look down on others and that even the educated fall short, for it is written in Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. There is no one who is righteous in themselves and education or status cannot save or sanctify anyone. Only the blood of Jesus cleanses and only the Holy Spirit can transform a heart. We also rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is written in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

You rightly prayed that the truth shall set them free, and Jesus said in John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. The enemy is the father of lies and it is written in John 8:44 that he is a liar and the father of lies, and in 2 Corinthians 4:4 the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving. So we pray with you that every lie and deception be exposed by the light of Christ and that their eyes be opened to see the truth as it is in Jesus.

We also stand with you in praying for those who are in Christ to be covered and kept. In 1 John 1:7 the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin and in Philippians 4:7 the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We ask the Lord to give them that peace and understanding and to teach them to be righteous and compassionate as He is.

Your reference to Psalm 51:17 is so fitting, My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise. We agree that God does not desire mere outward religion but a heart that is broken over sin and turned toward Him. In Ezekiel 36:26 God promises I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. We pray for that new heart for each of these lawyers and representatives, that they would not only recognize their sin but hate it and turn from it, for in Acts 3:19 it is written Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out. And we cling to Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, asking the Lord to create that very hunger and thirst within them that cannot be quenched by anything but Him.

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this team and every lawyer and legal representative connected to them. Lord, shine Your truth into every dark place and break the power of Satan's lies that have bound them. Give them a deep conviction of sin and a broken and contrite heart that You will not despise. Forgive their sins through the blood of Jesus and wash them clean. Cover Your people who belong to You with the precious blood of Christ and guard them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon all involved and create in them a new heart that loves truth and hates evil, that disregards no human life and walks in honest communication. Stir them, Lord, with an unquenchable thirst for truth and for righteousness, that they may hunger and thirst until they are filled by You. Teach them to be righteous and compassionate as You are. We thank You that Your Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to Your will as it is written in Romans 8:26. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our salvation, and we ask all these things in His holy and matchless name, amen.

We hear the weight in your prayer and we are joining you in it. Your deepest cry here is for God to give that team, their lawyers and representatives, a real thirst for truth and righteousness, and for hearts that can see sin clearly and turn from it. That is a good and loving thing to ask.

You named something honest and humbling, that education and knowledge do not by themselves make a person righteous or compassionate. We have found that to be true as well. Lasting change does not come from self improvement alone, but from God working in the heart, and that is why your prayer for a broken and contrite spirit matters so much. You are not asking for outward performance, you are asking for inward transformation that only He can bring.

It grieves you to see human life disregarded and honest communication set aside, and it is right to bring that grief to the Lord instead of carrying it alone. We will keep standing with you in prayer, asking God to do His work in each person you named, to cover and keep those who are His with peace and understanding, and to lead all involved toward what is good and right in His eyes.

Father, we lift this team and their counsel to You. Work in their hearts as only You can, bring conviction where it is needed, mercy where it is sought, and a deep desire for truth and righteousness. Guard our friend who is praying, keep their heart tender and at peace as they trust You, in Jesus' name, amen.

There is a blessed hunger of which our Lord speaks when He says, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. Your prayer asks for that very thing, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness to be wrought in the hearts of those who now walk in darkness, and in this you pray according to the mind of God.

You have done well to ask not only for restraint from evil but for a broken spirit and a contrite heart, for as it is written, My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Judgments and learning and the study of law do not of themselves produce a satisfactory repentance. Such repentance as is of the flesh does not give God glory. True repentance is the work of the Spirit of God, it is repentance unto life, it is the gift of God preached in the name of Jesus. It is not drawn up from the depths of our own heart as water from a well, but is asked of Christ who works it in us through belief of the truth.

And this hunger and thirst is after righteousness, not after wealth or power or the vindication of a cause. The man who truly hungers would rather be poor and be righteous than be rich through evil. He ceases to hunger after this world that he may hunger after another and a better one. Pharisees never hunger after righteousness, for they think they have enough and to spare, but the truly awakened soul finds his own righteousness swallowed up and cries for more, and learns that his repentance itself needs to be repented of. True repentance is to leave the sins we loved before and show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more. It yields works meet for repentance, it lasts, it looks out of self to Christ and to Christ only, for we are not saved by establishing our own righteousness but by submitting to the righteousness which is of God in Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness in whom alone is salvation.

We join you in this relentless prayer. May the Lord in mercy cover with the precious blood of Christ all who are His, and grant peace and understanding according to His will. And for those yet bound by lies and disregard for truth, we pray that the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us would stir their hearts, that He would grant them that godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, that they may hate their sin, turn from it, and hunger and thirst after the righteousness which is in Christ alone. When God means to save a man He makes his heart to hunger till all boasted excellence is devoured, and then He fills that hunger with Himself, and yet the soul still hungers and still is blessed. May it be so for each one you have named, that they may glorify God by a true repentance and find full and free remission of sins in Jesus name.

We thank the Father that His will is perfect and that He hears the prayers offered in the name of His Son. Let us continue to pray that His truth may be our only care and that trifles may be trifles to us, till we are filled with the righteousness of Christ and live to His glory. Amen.

We join you in this prayer and thank God for the burden He has placed on your heart for truth and righteousness.

You have prayed well, asking not for vengeance but for mercy, that those who are entangled in lies and who disregard human life and honest communication would come to know the thirst that only Christ can satisfy. Jesus stood and cried, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink. He does not draw by force, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire for Him, and He promises that whoever drinks the water He gives will never thirst again, but it will become in him a well springing up into everlasting life.

You rightly ask for an unquenchable thirst for righteousness. Scripture says, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. This is not a casual wish but a deep longing like a thirsty man who eagerly drains the bowl. We pray with you that God would kindle this longing in the hearts of these lawyers and all involved, that they would transfer their desire from gain and worldly advantage to the pursuit of what is just and true before God.

You also prayed from Psalm 51 that God would give a broken and contrite heart. This is the sacrifice God will not despise. A contrite heart does not rise up or seek to strike back, but is quiet, humble, and ready to acknowledge sin and hate it. True righteousness is not merely an outward form or legal knowledge, but righteousness and holiness of truth created anew in Christ. We join you in asking that God would work in their hearts to convict them of sin, to bring them to confession with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and belief in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, for that is the word of faith by which we are saved.

We pray as you have prayed, that the precious blood of Christ would cover all who are His and grant peace and understanding, and that those who are still bound in darkness would be saved through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We ask that God would teach them to be righteous and compassionate, putting on righteousness as a breastplate, living lives of universal virtue that cannot be easily overthrown, showing forth the fruits of righteousness in honest and merciful deeds.

We thank God that His Holy Spirit intercedes for us, and we continue with you to ask that His will be done, that truth would be loved, that sin would be forsaken, and that all would come to the living water which alone can satisfy.
