Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we stand in agreement with you before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus.

We are encouraged by your humble heart that does not boast and does not look down on others, but recognizes that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God as it is written in Romans 3:23, and that even the educated and those trained in the law can fall into horrible sin. Your prayer reflects the heart of God who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth as it is written in 1 Timothy 2:4.

We agree with you that Jesus is the truth who sets us free. Jesus said in John 8:32 you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, and in John 14:6 Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We also cling to the promise in Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. This is the thirst you are praying for, and God will honor that prayer because He delights not in outward sacrifice but in a broken and contrite heart as you quoted from Psalm 51:16-17 For you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. And as Samuel taught in 1 Samuel 15:22 Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

We pray together now for the team you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We ask the Father to lift the veil that the god of this world has placed over minds that are blinded as it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:4, and to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God as in Acts 26:18, that they may receive forgiveness of sins. We ask that the precious blood of Jesus would cover those who are His and give them the peace of God which surpasses all understanding which will guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7. We ask the Holy Spirit, who indeed intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered according to Romans 8:26, to work on their hearts to give them a new heart and a new spirit as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, so that they will recognize their sin, hate their sin, and turn from it in true repentance.

Father, we pray you would stir their hearts and give them that unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. Teach them to be righteous and compassionate, to love truth and to disregard no longer human life and honest communication. We pray you would forgive their sins where there is repentance and that they would do no more evil in your eyes. We remember that the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires as it says in Proverbs 21:1, and we trust you to direct the hearts of all involved toward justice and mercy.

We thank you for your holiness and for your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and for them continually. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved as it says in Acts 4:12. We continue in relentless prayer with you, believing that the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results as it says in James 5:16. Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, and let truth and righteousness prevail for your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We were moved by your honest burden for truth to prevail. It is deeply grieving to watch people who are trained in the law seem to disregard honesty and the value of human life, and we understand why you are carrying this to the Lord so persistently.

You named it well, that education alone does not make a person righteous or compassionate. Only God can soften a heart and create a real thirst for what is right, not just a moment of regret but a true turning. That is why your prayer for broken and humble hearts is so fitting. We need God to do what we cannot do in others, and the Holy Spirit is already interceding as you pray.

When a burden like this feels relentless, it can help to give it a steady place. We will keep praying with you, and we encourage you to keep bringing these lawyers and the team before the Lord each day in a simple, brief way, then consciously leaving them in His hands so the grief does not harden into bitterness. Staying rooted in worship and fellowship will help keep your own heart tender and at peace as you wait.

Father, we lift this team and their counsel to You. Work in their hearts, draw them to truth, teach them to love righteousness and mercy, and cover Your people with Your peace and protection. Let Your will be done, in Jesus' name, amen.
