Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join with you in this earnest plea for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, for we know that only in God’s Word and His ways can true freedom and fulfillment be found. The cry of your heart reflects the very desire of our Savior, who declared, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). This hunger is not of the flesh but of the spirit, and it is the Holy Spirit who awakens it within us.

We lift up the team at and their legal representatives, praying that the scales of deception would fall from their eyes. The enemy seeks to blind minds to the truth, as Scripture warns: "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). But we declare that the blood of Jesus has power to break every chain! Let the truth of God’s Word pierce their hearts like a double-edged sword, exposing lies and revealing the path of righteousness.

It is grievous to see those who are educated in the law, those who should uphold justice, engage in sin and disregard for life. Yet we must remember that knowledge alone does not save; only repentance and faith in Christ do. As it is written, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 WEB). We do not condemn them but pray for their conviction, that they may turn from sin and embrace the Savior. The Lord does not delight in empty rituals or legalistic performances but in a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:16-17 WEB). May they recognize their need for a Savior and hate sin as God hates it.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and pride that may be at work in their lives. The Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6 WEB). We pray that their hearts would be softened, their consciences awakened, and their minds renewed by the truth of Scripture. Let them see the weight of their actions and the eternal consequences of unrepentant sin. May they come to hate injustice, dishonesty, and the disregard for human life as God does.

We also pray for the Christians among them, that they would stand firm in their faith and be bold witnesses for Christ. May they be covered by the blood of Jesus, filled with peace, and guided by the Holy Spirit in all wisdom and understanding. Let them not be swayed by the pressures of the world but remain steadfast in righteousness, compassion, and truth.

Father, we ask that You stir within them an unquenchable thirst for Your truth and righteousness. Let them seek You with all their heart, soul, and mind, for You have promised, "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13 WEB). May they come to know the freedom that only Christ can give, the freedom from sin, guilt, and the power of the enemy.

We thank You for Your holiness and for the Holy Spirit, who intercedes for us and them according to Your will. We exalt the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray all these things in His mighty name, trusting that Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven.

Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly men and women in the legal profession who will uphold justice, defend the innocent, and reflect Your character. May they be salt and light in a dark world, pointing others to the truth of the Gospel. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in the courts, the law offices, and the hearts of all who serve in this field.

We commit this prayer to You, trusting in Your mercy and grace. May Your truth prevail, and may many come to know You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in this, and we are grateful for the way you are praying. Asking for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is a serious prayer, because it means wanting God to work deeply, not just wanting a quick outcome. That kind of prayer costs something, and we respect it.

You are also guarding your own heart as you intercede, and that matters. You named that you do not want to boast or look down on the people involved. Hold on to that. It is possible to desire justice and still stay free of contempt, and that is the best ground to pray from.

One thing that may help is to keep this specific. Instead of praying around the whole situation in a fog, name before the Lord the particular truth you are asking Him to make clear and the particular change you are asking Him to work. That keeps your prayer focused and your heart honest as you wait.

Father, we ask You to bring what is hidden into the light, and to work real repentance where it is needed, not just temporary regret. Protect what is true, expose what is false, and give everyone involved a steady hunger for what is right in Your sight. Keep the one praying free from bitterness, and let Your will be done in their life as well. In Jesus' name, amen.

The prayer for an unquenchable thirst after truth and righteousness is a right prayer only when truth is sought in the person of Christ. It is written, The truth shall set you free, but the truth that sets free is not a bare principle. It is the Lord Himself, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. Pray then that these persons may not merely be awakened to their sin, but that they may be brought to see Jesus as the salvation of God.

You plead Psalm 51, and it is a good plea. A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Yet mark well that there is many a repentance that is not repentance unto life. The man who turns from his sin only because the consequences have found him out has not turned at all. There is a poor and short-lived repentance; men may abstain from food for some hours only to increase their appetite for the banquet which is being prepared. That legal sorrow gives no glory to God and is worthless for salvation. True repentance is the work of the Spirit of God, and it gives God glory.

Pray therefore that these ### and their ### may not be left to a few natural convictions which will harden into death. Pray that the Lord may give them repentance, for repentance is one of the free gifts of His grace. Where there is a real sorrow for sin, an honest determination by God's grace to cease from sin, and a complete change of mind with regard to sin, that repentance has been produced by the Spirit of God, and the work of salvation has already begun in that soul. But no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin.

Do not ask merely for an unquenchable thirst for truth in the abstract, for many thirst after what they suppose to be truth and yet refuse Him who is the truth. Ask that the truth of God's salvation may be made real to them. It is not a shadow, not a myth, not a type. There is a real fall, and you and I know it. There is a real atonement, the precious blood of Christ, by which the guilty are made clean. There is a real heaven for those who trust Him. If there is no truth in their sinnership, there is to them no truth in Christ's salvation. So pray that they may be stripped of every false confidence and may see that the Lord does not delight in sacrifice, nor is He pleased with burnt offering, but that the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit.

And remember this, a man may be well educated and well practised in law, and yet be a complete fool in the things of God. We do not boast before God, and we do not look down on any man, for we also would be where they are but for the mercy of God. But let us tell them plainly that salvation is not by law, nor by tears, nor by amendment of life. It is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. It is written, With the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. And again, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. There is no other system in all the world that promises sure salvation. The law cannot do it. The will cannot do it. Christ alone saves to the uttermost.

Therefore I would have you pray relentlessly, but let your request be made in truth. Pray that they may see Jesus as God's salvation. Wherever the eye spiritually lights upon the Christ of God, there it sees God's salvation. When a man wholly and entirely trusts himself in the hands of Christ, then his eyes have seen God's salvation. That sight alone will slay his love of sin. Ask the Lord to make them ashamed of their sin, but more than that, ask the Lord to make Christ very precious to them, for the same sorrow that sees only the law will leave the soul in despair. The sorrow that sees Christ upon the cross will turn to love and hatred of sin together.

Pray then after this manner. Heavenly Father, we come in Jesus' name. Give these souls no rest in lies. Break the hard heart. Make them hate the sin that nailed Christ to the tree. Let them not be content with a repentance that must be repented of, but give them that repentance unto life which leaves the sin and lays hold of the Saviour. Give them an unquenchable thirst for truth, not as a notion, but for Him who is truth. And for ourselves, keep us from a lying salvation. We ask it for Jesus' sake. Amen.
