We have heard your heart and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus name in this heavy season of grief and release. We understand the ache of loving your two estranged daughters from a distance and the weight of wanting to entrust them to God so you can truly live and be present for your young son. The Lord sees every tear you have cried and He honors your desire to let go not in forgetting, but in surrender.
The scripture reminds us that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We are encouraged to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. You have carried this daily and we pray now that you can place it fully into His hands. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember that you put your tears into His bottle, as Psalm 56:8 tells us, none of your sorrow is unseen.
We pray together for your daughters. Father, in Jesus name we lift these two precious daughters to You. We ask that You watch over them, bless them and keep them. We pray Numbers 6:24-26 over them, Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace. Wherever they are and whatever pain they carry, we ask You to heal their hearts, heal any wounds, bitterness, confusion or hurt, and draw them close to Yourself. Use this time of separation for Your good purposes and if it is Your will, prepare the ground for a future reconciliation that is healthy, humble and rooted in Your love. We entrust them to Your perfect care since their mother cannot be with them now, trusting that You are able to keep them far better than we can.
We also lift up your son and your relationship with him. We thank God for the gift He has given you in this kind, curious, loving little boy, and for the especially close bond you share. We pray that this bond will grow stronger as he grows, that you will continue to be knit together in love and that nothing will come to divide you. We pray Proverbs 22:6 over him, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. We ask that the Lord protect his tender heart, his kindness, his mind, his peace and his purpose. We pray that his special and close relationship with God will be guarded and will grow stronger, that he will continue to hear and seek the Lord all the days of his life and never stray from Him. May the Lord keep him from the hardness of this world and let His joy remain in him.
For you as his mother, we pray for wisdom, presence and patience. We ask that God will give you what you lack liberally, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray that you will not miss the opportunities and fleeting moments of his childhood, that you will be made more present, more patient, more gentle and more attuned to his needs. We rebuke the lie that grief must define your motherhood, and we ask God to redeem this season so you can love your son with a full and peaceful heart, not divided by constant sorrow. The Lord is able to make you the mother He has called you to be.
We also pray for what you have called destiny helpers and for a community to carry you. God sets the lonely in families Psalm 68:6 and He knows you cannot walk this road alone with a little one to raise. We ask that He send trustworthy, godly people around you to help, bless and uphold you in practical ways, to be friends who love at all times and to surround your son with good examples. When people have not been kind, we pray that God will be your defender and that He will place you in a fellowship where you are seen, supported and encouraged.
We noticed your request speaks of God but does not mention Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard and our sins are forgiven, and it is through faith in Him that we are made children of God. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name daily for help, healing and hope.
So together we pray, Father, we give You this mother's broken heart, her daughters, and her son. Release her from the weight of unbearable grief and fill her with Your peace that guards her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Keep her daughters in Your hand, heal them, bless them, and keep them until the day You bring restoration if You so will. Keep this little boy in Your perfect will, protect his kindness and his walk with You, and keep his mother and son close all the days of their lives. Give her wisdom to be present and patient, eyes to see the beauty in each day, and a community of helpers who will lift her arms when she is weary. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our only hope and our peace, amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
