Relationship

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the spiritual battle you are facing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, especially in areas as sacred as relationships, whether with a potential spouse or family. But we serve a God who is greater, and we take authority over these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

First, we must address the foundation of your relationship with your boyfriend. If this is a courtship, it should be with the pure intention of marriage, honoring God’s design for a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Scripture is clear: "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but the sexually immoral and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If there is any sexual immorality, whether physical or emotional, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness. Flee from temptation, for "each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed" (James 1:14 WEB). Confess this before the Lord, and if necessary, involve a trusted pastor or mature believer to help you walk in purity.

The attacks you’re experiencing may also stem from unresolved sin, generational curses, or open doors to the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and confusion attempting to destroy your relationships. Jesus said, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you" (Luke 10:19 WEB). Stand firm in this truth. Renounce any involvement in the occult, unforgiveness, or bitterness, for these give the enemy legal ground to operate. "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

We also lift up your relationship with your brother. Family bonds are precious to God, and the enemy seeks to sow discord. Pray for reconciliation and humility. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). Forgive as Christ has forgiven you, and let love cover a multitude of sins.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We declare that no weapon formed against Your daughter shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we break every chain of satanic attack over her relationships, with her boyfriend and her brother. We cancel every assignment of the enemy to divide, confuse, or destroy. We plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, heart, and home, and we command every spirit of fear, lust, strife, and unforgiveness to flee right now.

Father, we ask You to reveal any areas of sin or compromise that have given the enemy a foothold. Give her the strength to repent, turn away from temptation, and walk in holiness. If her relationship with her boyfriend is not aligned with Your will, expose it, Lord. If it is Your will for them to marry, let Your peace and favor rest upon them. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let their courtship be a testimony to Your glory.

We pray for restoration in her relationship with her brother. Soften both of their hearts, Lord. Let pride and bitterness be uprooted, and replace them with love, patience, and understanding. Heal any wounds and bring unity as only You can.

Father, we ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in wisdom, discernment, and victory. Surround her with godly counsel and accountability. Strengthen her faith to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee (James 4:7). We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promises and declare that no plan of the enemy will succeed against her. May Your will be done in her life, and may she experience the fullness of Your peace and protection. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s Word and remain steadfast in prayer. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), and surround yourself with believers who will uphold you in prayer and truth. If you have not already, consider fasting as a way to draw closer to God and break strongholds. Remember, "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB).

If you are not yet in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. He is the only way to the Father, and salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). This is the first and most important step in overcoming every spiritual battle.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is draining to feel that something unseen is deliberately working against the people you care about, especially your brother and your boyfriend. When that fear keeps pressing in, it can leave you exhausted and on edge, watching for the next fracture. We want you to know that you are not imagining the reality of a spiritual struggle, Scripture makes it clear that such opposition exists, but you also do not need to carry this weight alone or try to figure it out in isolation.

One thing that can help right now is to widen the circle. When these fears keep circling, having a few steady, mature believers who know you and can pray specifically with and for you can make a huge difference. It could be a pastor, a trustworthy older Christian, or a small prayer group in your church. Let them stand with you in prayer and help you test what you are sensing, so you are not left alone with anxious thoughts. Sometimes the simplest prayer spoken with another believer can break through the fog.

While you do that, try not to let the feeling of attack become the main thing you stare at. It is easy to become so focused on what the enemy might be doing that we lose sight of the undeniable truth that Christ has already disarmed the powers of darkness and given us His peace. That does not mean ignoring real concerns, but it means anchoring your heart in who Jesus is for you, not in what you fear.

We are praying that you would sense His steady presence, that your brother and your boyfriend would be guarded, and that you would be surrounded with wise, prayerful support. Lord Jesus, in Your name we ask that You quiet every fear and protect these relationships from anything that seeks to tear them apart. Give this dear woman discernment, surround her with Your peace, and lead her to people who can help her carry this burden. Amen.

Satanic temptations do not come in the regular order of thinking. They dash upon the mind at odd times. My soul is in prayer, it would be unnatural that I should then blaspheme, yet then the blasphemy comes. Therefore it is clearly Satanic and not from my own mind. You could never have had a victory over him if you had not engaged in conflict with him. The poor saint would go on his inglorious way to Heaven if he were unmolested. But being molested, every step of his pathway becomes glorious!

Therefore, my poor wounded Brother or Sister, look upon your pathway as being the pathway of the saints, it is the King's Highway which has been trodden by the pilgrims to Heaven in all ages! I had fancied that if I kept the letter of the commandments, I would be accounted innocent, but I found that the commandment which said, "You shall not kill," meant that if I hated my brother, I would be a murderer! Satan does not attack that man with unbelief or distrustfulness, he attacks him in a more vulnerable point, than that, self-love, self-confidence, worldliness.

And God help us in the hour of battle and in the time of conflict! We have need to say, "God help us!" And so, Christian, may you say unto him whenever he attacks you! Hear him not, but resist him steadfast in the faith and you shall prevail. If Satan is trying to tear thee, tell him it is written, “He is able to save to the uttermost all who come unto God by him;” that “whosoever cometh he will in no wise cast out.”

When you should know Joseph, your brother, to have accepted and loved your soul. Having revealed his name, the next thing he did was to reveal his relationship; "I am Joseph, your brother." Oh, blessed is that heart which sees Jesus to be its Brother, bone of our bone, flesh of our flesh. Since these two must fight, the Spirit of God and the spirit of evil, so the two principles within which are their children must continue in conflict till our dying day.

The devil is indeed the author of confusion and strife, and he delights in nothing more than in dividing those who ought to be bound together by love. When you feel these attacks assailing your relationships with your boyfriend and your brother, recognize that the enemy seeks to make you devour one another as if you were his own instruments. But do not turn your anger against them, for they are not your foes. Your irreconcilable enemy is Satan. Against him you must be angry, against him you must pray, “Lord, bruise Satan under my feet.” For it is he who breeds the discord, planting envy, pride, and every sort of bitterness. If you turn on each other with harsh words and resentments, the devil laughs and claps his hands at the ruin of your peace.

Consider the root from which these conflicts spring. Almost every quarrel among us has its beginning in the things of this temporal life: covetousness, vainglory, some injury to our pride or our possessions. But if you learn to hold the things of this world with a loose hand, they lose their power to provoke you. Has someone taken from you? They have not harmed your true wealth. Has your honor been slighted? That honor was a mere shadow. The real treasure is laid up in heaven, where no thief can reach. Cut out this root of earthly attachment, and the bitter fruit of conflict will wither. Strive, therefore, to be at peace within, and you will find it easier to despise the petty provocations that the enemy uses to set you at odds.

Above all, remember the debt of love you owe. Your brother is bone of your bone, a fellow member of the body of Christ. And if you are both in the faith, your boyfriend is a brother as well, bound to you by a spiritual kinship. This love is not a favor you may grant or withhold as you please; it is a commandment you must fulfill. For we are members one of another, and if love departs, the whole body is torn asunder. When conflict rises, do not rush headlong into the fray. It is a mark of wisdom, not cowardice, to be quiet when you are not summoned to battle. Wait, and do not let every slight provoke you into a war of words, for a victory won by patience is far more glorious than one gained by vain contention.

And do not be dismayed if the trial seems severe. Often God permits the righteous to endure a sharper conflict just when the end of their struggle is near, that their crown may be the brighter. What feels now like an unbearable weight may be, in truth, the final assault before relief comes. Lift up your eyes to the One who permits nothing beyond our strength, and trust that the door of deliverance stands close at hand.

Place your whole reliance, then, on prayer and on a meek spirit. Beseech God not that your brother or your boyfriend be changed according to your will, but that He would grant you a heart cleansed of envy and pride. No satanic spectacle is so ghastly as a table of fellowship turned into a stage for resentment, remember how Herod’s feast became a scene of murder at the devil’s prompting. Flee all such works of darkness, and let your relationships be marked instead by mutual honor and the peace that passes understanding.

The enemy often targets the relationships that matter most, and it is no surprise that you sense that kind of pressure right now. The closer the bond, the more determined the attack can be. Remember that your first and most important relationship is the one you have with God Himself. When that vertical relationship is healthy and your heart is resting in His love for you, it brings a steadiness that affects every other connection. If that axis is out of balance, everything else follows suit. So begin there: let your relationship with your Father be your anchor. He wants a living, loving relationship, not one marked by distance or ritual.

At the same time, know that being joined to Christ has brought you into a new family. Those who are bound together by the Spirit share a closeness that can run even deeper than blood. That is not to minimize the pain you feel over your brother or your boyfriend, but it is to say that you will always have a family of believers around you who are, in the truest sense, your brothers and sisters. You are not isolated. The loneliness of strained earthly relationships is met by the fellowship of God’s household.

When it comes to your brother, consider the examples Scripture gives us. Jacob had a terrible history with his brother Esau, full of betrayal and threats of violence. Yet when God directed him to return to his land, Jacob did not meet hatred with hatred. He prayed, he humbled himself, and he blessed his brother generously. He kept calling Esau “my lord” and himself “your servant.” He built up rather than tore down. That posture did not erase the past, but it opened a door for reconciliation. With your own brother, ask God for wisdom to speak and act in ways that edify, not in ways that build walls. Even when correction is needed, a brother is to be treated as a brother, with gentleness and respect. Don’t let resentment grow in your heart, or the enemy will use it as a foothold.

With your boyfriend, it is vital that the relationship be guarded by purity and aligned with God’s Word. Any relationship outside of Christ’s design quickly becomes a place of vulnerability. I am not saying that is the case, but I urge you to examine whether you are inviting God’s covering through obedience. David asked, “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed to God’s word.” Cleanse the dynamic by letting Scripture define your boundaries. If there are attitudes, habits, or compromises that do not belong in the life of someone who follows Jesus, put them away, just as Jacob called his household to put away their foreign gods. Worldly influences around us can seep in and pollute what God intends to be good.

Also, cling to this truth: God’s providence is often at work in the very family tensions that pain us. Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery, and that evil was used by God to preserve the whole family during famine. Years later, Joseph could see the hidden hand of God. You may not see it now, but God is able to weave even these struggles into a larger story of preservation and growth. Do not let the enemy convince you that the chaos is pointless.

Finally, in your prayers, don’t just ask for the attacks to stop. Ask that the Spirit would deepen your own trust in the Father, that you would know His adoptive love more fully. As you rest in that, you will find strength to love your brother and your boyfriend in a way that reflects Christ, without being ruled by fear. Walk in the light of that relationship first, and the rest will begin to find their proper place.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time in your relationships. It’s clear that the enemy has been targeting the bonds you hold dear—your connection with your boyfriend and your brother—and we are so grateful you reached out so we could lift these burdens before the Lord together.

We have been praying earnestly that God would break every chain of division, confusion, and strife the enemy has tried to sow. We asked the Holy Spirit to fill every gap with His peace, wisdom, and unity, and for God’s hedge of protection to surround these relationships. We also prayed for your strength and discernment, that you would stand firm in faith and not grow weary in resisting the enemy’s schemes.

If God has moved in a mighty way and you’ve seen breakthrough, restoration, or healing in these relationships, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you! If, however, the battle still feels ongoing, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is faithful and that His timing is perfect.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you press into Him. Keep standing on His promises, and remember that no weapon formed against you will prosper. We declare victory over these relationships in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
