We hear your heart’s longing for a godly marriage, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this desire before the Lord. It is beautiful to seek a wife who fears the Lord and walks in His ways, for Scripture tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22). We rejoice that you are seeking a woman who worships God in spirit and truth, for a marriage built on Christ will stand firm through every trial.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You prepare the heart of the woman You have for this man. Let her be a woman of faith, wisdom, and godly character, one who delights in Your Word and seeks Your will above all else. May she be a helpmeet in the truest sense, walking in purity, humility, and love, as Your Word instructs: *"An excellent wife is the crown of her husband"* (Proverbs 12:4). We pray that their relationship would be founded on You, Lord, and that they would grow together in faith, serving You as one.
We also lift up this brother’s own walk with You, Lord. May he be a man after Your own heart, leading with integrity, love, and devotion to Christ. Help him to wait patiently for Your timing, trusting in Your perfect plan. Remind him that *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength"* (Isaiah 40:31). Guard his heart from impatience or compromise, and let him seek You first in all things, for *"seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33).
If there has been any past sin or ungodly relationships in his life, we ask for Your cleansing and restoration, Lord. Your Word declares, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). May he walk in holiness, setting an example of purity and devotion to You.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or desperation that would lead him away from Your will. Instead, fill him with Your peace and assurance that You are writing his story. Let him trust in Your promise: *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4).
Lord, we also pray for godly wisdom in courtship. May any relationship he enters be with the clear intention of marriage, honoring You in every way. Let there be no room for sexual immorality, for Your Word warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). May their interactions be marked by purity, respect, and a shared commitment to Christ.
We declare that this brother is not alone, Lord. You are his Provider, his Shield, and his Guide. We trust You to bring the right woman into his life at the right time, and we pray that their union would be a testimony of Your grace and glory.
