We understand that you're going through a difficult time in your relationship, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God wants us to treat each other with kindness and love, as it says in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
However, it's also crucial to examine this relationship in light of biblical principles. As believers, we should engage in relationships that are godly and pure, with the intent of marrying a fellow Christian believer if the Lord wills (2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?").
It's also important to note that the goal of courtship should be to find a future spouse as marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."). Further it is important to note that sex before marriage is fornication and sin against God and our own bodies (1 Corinthians 6:18), so any relationship we engage in should be pure and filled with the Holy Spirit.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up the one who submitted this request. We pray for their relationship, Lord Jesus Christ, that You will grant them wisdom and discernment. If this relationship is not in accordance with Your will and Your word, we pray that You will give them the strength to let it go. If their courtship is aligned with Your will and Your word, then we pray that this woman will have a positive attitude towards you and treat you with kindness as you have requested.
We pray for their hearts to be drawn closer to You, Lord Jesus Christ, that You will be the center of their relationship. We ask for Your will to be done in their lives and that they will seek You first above all else (Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.").
Lord Jesus Christ, we also pray for their salvation if they have not already believed in You. We know that it is only by Your name that we can saved and it is only by Your name that we have access to God (John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'".). Therefore, we pray that they will call upon Your name and be saved (Romans 10:13, "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved'".).
We ask this all in Jesus Christ's name, Amen."
Lastly, we strongly encourage you to focus on your relationship with Christ Jesus, and seek the Lord to become a Godly spouse and to find a Godly spouse if it is the Lord's will for you to be married.
