We join you in prayer that the Lord will bless you with a godly wife who aligns with your values and, most importantly, aligns with the principles of God's Word, including the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in John 16:23 WEB "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." So we pray that you will have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, if you do not already know Him.
We pray that the woman God brings into your life will be filled with the Holy Spirit, exhibiting the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control according Galatians 5:22-23. We pray that she will be a woman of virtue as described in Proverbs 31:10-31, a woman that is kind and compassionate, a woman who does not leave or forsake her vows but is committed to building a strong marriage.
We also pray that you both will have open and honest communication, rooted in love and understanding, as outlined in Ephesians 4:15 WEB "But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ". Never leaving nor forsaking each other as promised in the marriage vows.
We advise you to be cautious and discerning in your search. Remember that God calls us to be equally yoked with fellow believers in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" This means that the woman you seek should also be a committed Christian, devoted to following Jesus Christ.
Regarding your desire for a fun-loving companion, we remind you of Ecclesiastes 3:4 WEB "a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance". It is good to enjoy life together, but always remember that true joy comes from the Lord, as stated in Psalm 16:11 WEB "You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore."
We pray this in Jesus' name, trusting that God's will be done in your life. Amen.
