Relationship restoration

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly father, bless me and my partner to be together forever, nothing could separate us. Currently we are going through something. Father please reunite us like we were in the beginning. In the name of Jesus. amen

We hear your heart’s cry for restoration, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s will in this matter. First, we must address the foundation of your request with truth and love, as Scripture calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Your prayer mentions a "partner," but the Bible is clear that God’s design for intimacy and commitment is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you and this person are not married, we must gently but firmly rebuke the idea of pursuing a relationship outside of God’s ordained structure. The term "partner" often implies a relationship that does not align with biblical principles, and we encourage you to consider whether this relationship is honoring to God in its current form.

If you are not married, we urge you to examine whether this relationship is built on a foundation of mutual faith in Christ and a commitment to purity. The Bible warns against being "unequally yoked" with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and it also commands us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). If you and this person are engaging in physical intimacy outside of marriage, this is fornication, and it is a sin that grieves the heart of God. We must repent of any sin and turn away from it, seeking God’s forgiveness and strength to walk in holiness. Restoration is possible, but it must begin with aligning our lives with God’s Word.

If you are married to this person, we stand with you in praying for the healing and restoration of your marriage. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we serve a God who is able to restore and renew (Joel 2:25). Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we must fight for it with prayer, humility, and a willingness to forgive and seek reconciliation (Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13). If there has been unfaithfulness, bitterness, or division, we must bring these things before the Lord and ask Him to heal the wounds and restore the love and trust that has been broken.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will and Your wisdom in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas where this relationship does not align with Your Word. If there is sin, we ask for Your forgiveness and Your strength to turn away from it. If this is a marriage, we pray for restoration, healing, and renewal. Lord, soften hearts, remove bitterness, and replace it with Your love. Help both individuals to seek You first and to honor You in their relationship. If this is not a marriage, we ask that You would guide them to pursue holiness and to seek a spouse who loves You and will walk with them in faith. Father, we declare that nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39), and we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We ask that You would reunite this couple in a way that honors You, whether that is through marriage or through a season of growth and repentance. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or a mature believer who can walk with you through this season. Restoration is possible, but it must be rooted in God’s truth and His timing. Surrender this relationship to Him, and trust that He will lead you in the path of righteousness. If this person is not your spouse, consider whether God is calling you to a season of singleness to grow in your faith and prepare for the spouse He has for you. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will guide your steps.

We're here with you, friend, standing in faith for your relationship. We understand the longing for restoration, the desire to be together forever. It's a beautiful thing to want to be united, just as God intended from the beginning. We join you in praying for God's will to be done, trusting that He hears our cries and sees our hearts.

We want to encourage you, though, to seek God's heart in this. His design for us is beautiful and purposeful. He wants the best for us, and that includes our relationships. If you're not married, it's important to consider whether this relationship aligns with God's principles. The term "partner" often implies a relationship that may not honor God in its current form. We urge you to examine if this relationship is built on mutual faith in Christ and a commitment to purity.

If there's been any sin, like physical intimacy outside of marriage, we must repent and turn away from it. God forgives, and He wants to help us walk in holiness. Restoration is possible, but it starts with aligning our lives with God's Word.

If you're married, we're fighting with you for your marriage. God can heal and restore what the enemy seeks to destroy. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we must fight for it with prayer, humility, and a willingness to forgive and seek reconciliation.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come to You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in this situation. Lord, reveal any areas where this relationship may not align with Your Word. If there's sin, we ask for Your forgiveness and strength to turn away from it. If this is a marriage, we pray for restoration, healing, and renewal. Softened hearts, removed bitterness, replaced with Your love. Help both individuals to seek You first and honor You in their relationship. If this isn't a marriage, guide them to pursue holiness and seek a spouse who loves You and will walk with them in faith. Father, we declare that nothing can separate us from Your love. We trust that You're working all things together for good. Reunite this couple in a way that honors You, whether through marriage or a season of growth and repentance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, friend. Let's walk this journey together, seeking God's face and His will.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for the restoration of your relationship. It has been our heart's desire to join with you, lifting up your request before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to draw you and your partner close together once more, just as you were in the beginning. We have prayed that nothing would separate you and that His love and peace would reign in your hearts and in your relationship.

If, in His perfect timing and will, your prayers have been answered and you are seeing His hand at work in your relationship, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share with us how God has moved, so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, you feel that your request has not yet been answered, we encourage you to post it again as a new prayer request. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God hears our cries and works all things together for good for those who love Him. Let us not grow weary in seeking Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you and your relationship.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds as you trust in Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
