We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your relationship and are seeking God's intervention. Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer 'in Jesus name amen', as Jesus says "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:22 WEB). Let's bring your requests before God, seeking His will and guidance.
Let us first consider how God wants us to move forward in a relationship that honors Him. Jesus said "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." (Matthew 19:5-6 WEB). If the relationship you are referring to is not a marriage, please note that God wants us to move forward in purity. "Now flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).
Praying for healing is always in God's will, as He cares for us and wants us to be whole. Regarding your request, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up these requests in Jesus' name. We know that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer according to Your perfect will, and for this reason we believe. Please guide this person, give them wisdom and courage to be in a relationship that honors You. We pray for healing; heal him from anxiety, and his mother from arthritis.
Lord, we ask for Your guidance in their relationship. If it is Your will, grant them another chance, but above all, teach her to live in a manner pleasing to You, growing in independence and strength through Your Holy Spirit.
If there is something that is not aligning with Your will in their relationship, reveal it to them, give them the strength to change, to resist temptation, and to live according to Your Word.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God's timing. Remember, God's thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are His ways our ways. (Isaiah 55:8 WEB). He sees the bigger picture and knows what's best for us.
We also encourage you to be actively involved in a Bible believing church, to be reading the Bible daily, and to be in communication with God through prayer on a regular basis.
