Relationship Healing

Lord, I need help.Thank you for carrying me through this work week and giving me a sense of peace even as I struggle. I pray that there will be healing in the miscommunication and misunderstanding that has torn a rift between Dave and me. Fear and baggage have blown it all out of proportion. I so value our relatonship and can't bear the thought of 25 years of love and friendship just sliding away over something so foolish. Please forgive me for my part and lead him to forgive us both. Work in our hearts and our relationship to bring reconciliation and personal growth. He needs you. Bring him to a greater faith in you. I pray that he will come to know you better no matter what our circumstances. Remind him of the joy, peace, contentment, and honesty that we have always brought to each other. Make a way forward for us. Fill us both with the forgiveness, mercy and hope that only You can. I pray that D will respond positively to my efforts to restore the healhy, joyful ease of our relationship. Please bring us together to work things out soon. Take care of him and bring him health and true knowledge of You in his heart, mind, body and soul.
