We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your marriage, your pain, and your fears. The betrayal you are experiencing is deep, and the loneliness you feel is overwhelming. But we know that our God sees you, hears you, and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, even when it feels like no one is standing with you. The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your refuge (Psalm 28:7).

First, we must address the sin that has entered your marriage. Your husband’s involvement with a third party is adultery, and Scripture is clear that this is a grievous violation of the covenant he made before God with you. "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14). Adultery breaks the sacred bond of marriage, wounds the heart of the betrayed, and grieves the Holy Spirit. We rebuke this unfaithfulness in Jesus’ name and command every ungodly soul tie to be broken between your husband and this other person. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but He also hates the deception and betrayal that leads to it. We pray that your husband’s eyes would be opened to the destruction his actions are causing—not just to you, but to your children, to his own soul, and to his relationship with God.

We also lift up your pain and fear. It is natural to feel afraid when your marriage is crumbling, especially when you have children depending on you. But the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You are stronger than you know, and God will equip you to protect and provide for your children. We declare that your faith will not fail, even when your heart is breaking. "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).

You have asked for prayer for a job, and we stand with you in faith for this provision. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). You may feel unqualified or limited in your education, but God is not limited by your circumstances. He used Moses, who stammered, and David, who was the youngest of his brothers, and Rahab, who was a prostitute, to accomplish His purposes. You are not defined by your past or your limitations—you are defined by Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). We pray that doors of opportunity would open for you, that favor would surround you like a shield, and that you would find work that provides for your family and restores your dignity.

For your children, we pray protection over their hearts and minds. The pain they are witnessing in your home is not what God intended for them. We ask that the Lord would surround them with His peace, that they would feel secure in His love, and that their faith would grow even in this difficult season. Your daughter’s first day of school is a milestone, and we pray that the Lord would go before her, that she would find favor with her teachers and friends, and that she would excel in her studies. May she and your son grow up knowing that their worth is found in Christ, not in the brokenness of this world.

We also want to gently address the way you have been praying. You mentioned asking "Lord Jesus" for a job, but we must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, repenting of any sin in your own life, and trusting in Him alone for salvation. He is the only one who can heal your marriage, provide for your needs, and give you the strength to endure.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for this sister in Christ. Lord, You see her pain, her fear, and her loneliness. You know the betrayal she is enduring, and You hate the sin that has entered her marriage. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in this situation. Soften her husband’s heart, Lord. Open his eyes to the destruction his actions are causing. Break every ungodly soul tie between him and this other person, and restore his love and commitment to his wife and children. We declare that adultery has no place in this marriage, and we rebuke it in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we ask for Your protection over this marriage. Guard their hearts from bitterness, unforgiveness, and despair. Help them to seek You first in all things, and to lean on Your understanding rather than their own. Give this sister the strength to stand firm in her faith, even when it feels like the ground beneath her is shaking. Remind her that You are her refuge and her fortress, her God in whom she trusts (Psalm 91:2).

Lord, we also lift up her need for a job. You are the God who provides, and we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for her. Give her favor with employers, wisdom in her decisions, and the skills she needs to succeed. Provide for her family in ways that only You can, and let her see Your hand at work in her life. Help her to trust in You, knowing that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).

For her children, Father, we ask for Your protection and peace. Guard their hearts from the pain they are witnessing, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. Give them wisdom beyond their years, and help them to grow in their faith even in this difficult season. Bless her daughter as she begins a new school year, and let her find joy and success in her studies.

Finally, Lord, we pray for this sister’s relationship with You. Draw her closer to You, and let her find her identity and worth in Christ alone. Help her to forgive her husband, even as You have forgiven her, and to trust You with her future. We declare that You are making all things new, and that You will restore what has been broken. Give her hope for the future, and let her see Your faithfulness in every area of her life.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Sister, we want you to know that you are not forgotten. God sees your tears, hears your cries, and is working even when you cannot see it. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and do not lose hope. The enemy wants you to believe that your marriage is beyond repair, that you will never find provision, and that your children will be scarred by this season. But God is greater than the enemy’s lies. He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

If possible, seek out godly counsel from a pastor or a Christian marriage counselor who can help you navigate this difficult season. You do not have to walk this path alone. Surround yourself with believers who will pray for you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. And remember, your worth is not found in your husband’s faithfulness or in your job status—it is found in Christ alone. You are His beloved daughter, and He will never abandon you.

Keep pressing into God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His faithfulness, His provision, and His love. Here are a few to start with:
- "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).
- "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).
- "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing that God will move mightily in your situation. Do not give up. Do not lose hope. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who calms the storms is at work in your life. Trust Him, and watch what He will do.

Dear Sister,

We're here with you, praying alongside you. We know the pain you're feeling, the fear that's gripping your heart. It's like a storm is raging inside you, and it's hard to see the light. But remember, even in the darkest storms, there's always a calm eye at the center. That's where we find Jesus.

We're not going to repeat what's already been said, but we want to add our voice to the prayers for your marriage and your family. We're asking God to intervene, to soften your husband's heart, to open his eyes to the destruction his actions are causing. We're declaring that adultery has no place in your marriage, and we're asking God to restore the love and commitment that once was.

But we also want to remind you of your strength. You're stronger than you know, and God will equip you to protect and provide for your children. You're not alone in this. Even when it feels like no one is standing with you, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted. He sees you, He hears you, and He is working even when you can't see it.

We're also praying for a job for you. We believe that God will open doors of opportunity for you, that He will give you favor with employers, and that He will provide for your family in ways only He can. Trust in Him, and watch what He will do.

For your children, we're asking God to protect their hearts and minds. We're praying for peace for them, for wisdom beyond their years, and for their faith to grow even in this difficult season. We're also praying for your daughter as she starts a new school year, that she would find favor with her teachers and friends, and that she would excel in her studies.

And finally, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God with all your heart. Don't lose hope. God is greater than the enemy's lies. He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Keep pressing into His Word, meditate on Scriptures that speak of His faithfulness, His provision, and His love.

We're standing with you, believing that God will move mightily in your situation. Do not give up. Do not lose hope. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who calms the storms is at work in your life. Trust Him, and watch what He will do.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
