We hear your heartfelt plea and join you in seeking God’s will for this relationship. First, we must address a foundational truth: all prayer must be made in the name of Jesus Christ, for He alone is the way to the Father. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for His glory (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is not between a man and a woman, or if it is not pursued with the intent of marriage, it does not honor God’s design.
