Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for healing in the hearts of ### and ###. Our family has been torn apart by misunderstandings, financial stress and depression from loss of life. There is so much love and happiness shared between our family. Please pray for togetherness to bring this happy family back together, for clarity and forgiveness in the hearts of ### and ###. Pray that ### can take down her wall and let love back into her heart and not to fear it and to trust and believe in each other once more, to remove the anxiety and worries from ###'s and ###'s heart. Pray that ### and ### can find peace and love and patience with each other and the strength to never give up on each other and there blended family. (### & ### kid's ###, ###, ###, ###)

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family that is deeply loved by Him. The pain of division, the weight of financial stress, and the grief of loss have created walls where there should be unity, fear where there should be trust, and anxiety where there should be peace. But we know that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He is able to restore what has been broken. The love that once bound this family together is not lost, it is simply obscured by the enemy’s lies and the wounds of life. We declare that God’s love is greater, and His power to heal is stronger than any force seeking to tear this family apart.

Father, we ask You to soften the hearts of each member of this family, especially those who have built walls of protection. Lord, we pray for and, that You would break down the barriers of pride, bitterness, and fear that have taken root. Remove the spirit of anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Help them to see one another through Your eyes, with compassion and grace, rather than through the lens of past hurts. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper, "You cannot trust again," or "This pain will never end." Instead, we proclaim the truth of Your Word: "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:7-8).

Lord, we also lift up the children in this blended family, , , , and . They are precious in Your sight, and we ask that You would guard their hearts from the confusion and pain of division. Give them a sense of security and belonging, and help them to see Your hand at work even in the midst of family struggles. May they grow in wisdom and in the knowledge of Your love, and may they one day look back on this season as a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We must also address the importance of forgiveness in this family. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that only leads to more pain (Matthew 6:14-15). Father, we pray that each member of this family would release any bitterness or resentment they are holding onto. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13). Let Your Holy Spirit bring conviction where it is needed, not to shame, but to lead to repentance and restoration.

Financial stress is a very real and heavy burden, Lord, but we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). We ask that You would open doors of opportunity, provide wisdom in managing resources, and remind this family that their security is found in You, not in their circumstances. Help them to trust You with their needs and to lean on one another in love rather than allowing money to become a source of division.

Grief is another deep wound in this family, Lord. The loss of life leaves a void that only You can fill. We ask that You would comfort them with Your presence, reminding them that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Help them to grieve in a way that honors You and to find hope in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. May they cling to the truth that "we do not grieve as others do who have no hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13), and may that hope sustain them in their darkest moments.

We also want to gently remind this family of the importance of seeking You, Lord, above all else. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only by His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If any member of this family does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the peace that comes from surrendering their lives to You, and may they find in You the strength to rebuild what has been broken.

Father, we declare that this family is not without hope. We speak restoration over their relationships, unity over their home, and joy over their lives. We pray that they would remember the love and happiness they once shared and that You would fan those embers back into a flame. Give them the courage to take the first steps toward reconciliation, and fill them with Your love so that they can love one another well. We trust in Your promise that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26), and we believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for this family. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their restoration. Amen.

We’re holding your family close in our hearts. The love you all have shared is real, and it hasn’t disappeared, it’s just buried under so much loss, exhaustion, and hurt right now. We know that kind of ache, and we’re not going to pretend a quick fix will make it all right. But we do believe that walls built from fear and grief can be taken down, one gentle, patient moment at a time.

Blended-family strains and the weight of death and financial pressure can leave everyone feeling like they’re walking on eggshells. Often each person is carrying not just present pain but old wounds that get stirred up. It makes sense that has put up a wall to protect herself, and that anxiety and worries have crept into both their hearts. It doesn’t mean love is gone; it means safety and trust need to be rebuilt slowly.

A practical step that has helped other families in similar spots is inviting a wise, neutral voice into the conversation, maybe a trusted pastor or a counselor who understands blended-family dynamics and grief. Sometimes having someone guide those tender first talks keeps old arguments from taking over and lets forgiveness begin as a decision, even before the feelings catch up.

And if that feels too big right now, start tiny. A shared meal with no heavy topics, a short walk, or simply sitting together in silence can be a way of saying, “I’m still here.” Healing doesn’t happen all at once, but God does draw near when families take even a small step toward one another.

Please join us in prayer:

Father, you see this family, the love they’ve known and the pain they carry. Hold and close. Quiet the anxieties that swirl around them. Soften the places that have grown hard from hurt. Give them courage to believe that vulnerability doesn’t have to mean danger, and patience to let trust grow again. Surround the children with your peace, and knit these hearts together in a way only you can. In Jesus’ name.

Lord, heal the hearts of ### and ###. Tear down the walls of misunderstanding, fear, and hurt. Bring clarity, forgiveness, and peace between them. Remove anxiety and worry from their hearts. Restore the love, joy, and togetherness they once shared. Give them patience, strength, and the will to never give up on each other or their blended family. Unite them in Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There is a cry for forgiveness and healing in a family torn asunder, and I tell you that the first step to the mending of these breaches is found in the forgiveness of God. Our Lord Jesus looked upon a man sick of the palsy and spoke to his deepest need: "Man, thy sins are forgiven thee." Before the healing of the body, He gave the healing of the soul. So must it be in your household. The misunderstandings, the financial stress, the depression and loss, these are the outward palsies, but the root is a heart that has forgotten its own need of mercy. There is forgiveness with God that He may be feared. It is a divine forgiveness: "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." Let every soul in that family hear it as for itself: "Man, thy sins are forgiven thee." Believe it and go your way in peace! When the heart knows it is forgiven, the wall of fear begins to crumble, for perfect love casteth out fear.

You speak of a wall about a heart, of anxiety and a fear of trusting again. This is a heart that has not yet fully rested in the keeping of Christ. "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Peace, perfect peace, is not found in the absence of storm, but in the presence of Jesus. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. When sorrows surge round, when loved ones seem estranged, this peace remains a present possession. But mark you, this peace comes not by feeling, but by trusting. The lepers were not healed first and then told to go; they were bidden to go and show themselves to the priest, and as they went they were cleansed. Trust Him before the joy comes. Trust Him while the heart feels dead and cold. Before long, if you trust Jesus, you shall know His love. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Let those weary hearts cast themselves wholly upon Christ, not waiting for a sign, but acting on His authority, and they shall find that anxiety gives way to the deep calm of grace.

The family is God's own ordinance, and it is His delight to see it united in Him. The saints in heaven and earth are one family, not a broken family, nor two families, and so He would have your blended household reflect that heavenly unity. But this cannot be wrought by mere human love, which so often fails when tried in the furnace of affliction. There must be a reformation in the household, a setting up of family prayer, a coming to the ark before the flood of further sorrows overwhelms you. I am afraid that some of you neglect family prayer. If you do, it will work evil in your households. Family prayer is the nutriment of family piety, and woe to those who allow it to cease! Would you see those walls of misunderstanding fall? Then gather the family around the mercy seat and cry to God together. There is a whole family in heaven and earth, and the practical point is, do you belong to that family? Has each heart been brought to Christ? Are you trusting in Him for the forgiveness that blotteth out all sin?

I hear the fear that says, "Our sins are too great, our wounds too deep." But there is forgiveness! He has no "buts" in His forgiveness. You make a clean breast in confession, and He will give you a clean breast by absolution. The completeness of this forgiveness is such that He remembers the sin no more. Can you trust such a God? Can you trust Christ to heal the divisions and restore the years the locust hath eaten? Come to the ark, before yet the flood your lingering steps oppose. Bring your spouse, bring your children, as Noah did his, for the promise is to you and your house. The wife of the father of sons came into the ark, and so did the sons' wives. Oh, that in your family the saved ones may be many, and that peace and love and patience may bloom again because Christ dwells in every heart.

What might God have done with some of you if your hearts had been given to Him years ago! By this time you might have achieved a lifework glorious to God, and a family life happy to yourselves. But do not despair. There is forgiveness for the chief of sinners. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance. He never plays fast and loose with men. Trust Christ's word and you will be believing what is absolutely true. Trust it, take the comfort of it, and go your way. Let the anxious heart take down its wall, not by a forced effort of will, but by letting the love of Christ in. The Spirit of adoption leads us into peace, peace with God, and then peace with our fellow creatures. His ways are ways of pleasantness. Wherever He conducts us, peace in the end shall be the sure result.

I trust the one object of my life is to win souls for Christ, and so I press this upon you: if there is a Christ, trust Him! If there is sin, seek to be washed from it! If there is pardon, rest not till you have it! Be in earnest, be in earnest at once. Then, with forgiveness received and peace enjoyed, you shall find strength to never give up on each other. You shall be kept in perfect peace, peace, peace, whose mind is stayed on Him. And even when death shadows you and yours, you shall know that Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers. Earth's struggles soon shall cease, and Jesus calls us to heaven's perfect peace. Until that day, may your blended family be a proof of His restoring grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of a family torn apart, and I hear the sorrow of a love that longs for reunion. But the very anxiety that weighs upon you, this fear that walls will not come down and trust will not return, is itself a chief cause of the breakdown. The thrice-blessed Apostle warns us of those who, from pressure of anxiety, banish from their mind the memory of even the greatest affection. They forget the garden, the tenderness shown, and they sink. So I say to you: do not let anxiety rule the hearts in your household. Commit them all to God. Why do you trust the unstable earth of your own worry? It yields nothing but strife, trials, and false accusations. Give this treasure into the hand of Christ. He does not merely restore what you lay down; He gives recompense beyond measure for keeping it safe.

The wall your beloved has built around her heart is a fortress of fear, and no human assault can batter it down. But hear the voice of the Bridegroom. When He speaks, the Church is drawn to Him, and a flood of joy and tears breaks through. Stand therefore, and let Him do His work. Entreat Him with a spirit of repentance, for the Ninevites needed sackcloth, not because a city would fall, but to escape eternal fire. So now, when a family is in peril of lasting division, we must look first to our own hearts. Cultivate the beauty that does not fade, the ornament of a gentle and quiet spirit which is untroubled by disease or loss. That beauty will outlast all earthly attractions and will draw others toward the peace you seek.

I pray that God will heal, that He will remove anxiety from your loved ones, and grant them clarity, forgiveness, patience, and the strength never to give up. But do your part: cease from fightings and wild struggles, forgive as you ask forgiveness, and trust the Lord who went out from the Father to bring us estranged creatures into the royal palace. He will bring this family together again, as you entrust each soul into His hands.
