We are grateful for the opportunity to pray for this former nurse who dedicated her life to saving others. We will lift her up in prayer, asking God for guidance and healing during this challenging time, however, we need to mention the name of Jesus in our prayer. In His name we have access to God the Father.
Let us remember the words of James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You today to lift up our dear sister in Christ who has selflessly served others as a nurse. We know that You, Lord, are a God who heals all our diseases.
We pray for Your healing touch upon her broken leg. Guide her and those helping her to the perfect rehab facility where she will receive the best care. We ask for Your grace and mercy to be upon her, granting her a speedy recovery.
We also pray for her faith to be strengthened during this time. May she find comfort and peace in Your presence, knowing that You are always with her.
Lord, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we may have eternal life. It is in His name that we pray, believing that You hear and answer our prayers. Amen.
We encourage her to trust in the Lord with all her heart, and lean not on her own understanding. In all her ways she should acknowledge Him, and He will make her paths straight.
Lastly, we gently remind everyone that while it is wonderful to send love and light, it is most important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is through Jesus alone that we have access to God the Father and eternal salvation. If she has not already, we encourage her to put her faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of her sins and eternal life.
