Please pray over my job references for my job search. In Jesus name Amen. I am trying to be thoughtful and deliberate in selecting the people. Grant me discernment in my decision making.

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up this request for wisdom and discernment in selecting job references. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust that You are guiding these decisions according to Your perfect will. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB).
We pray for clarity and insight as this decision is made. Lord, surround this situation with Your peace and order, that the references chosen would reflect integrity, honesty, and a testimony of godly character. May the words spoken on behalf of this job search bring glory to Your name and open doors that align with Your purpose. "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB).
We also ask for favor in the eyes of potential employers, that they would see not only skill and experience but also the heart of a servant, reflecting Christ in all things. Let this process be a testimony of Your provision and faithfulness. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB).
