We hear the raw emotion in your words, the pain, the frustration, and the desperate cry for breakthrough. You are declaring victory over despair, sorrow, and every force that has sought to steal your joy, your provision, and your family’s well-being. We stand with you in agreement, for the Word of God declares that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us (Romans 8:37). However, we must also gently address some concerns in how you are approaching this battle, for there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death (Proverbs 14:12).

First, we must clarify that our victory is not achieved through our own declarations of power, control, or demands into existence. This is not how God operates. The authority we have in Christ is not a license to "speak things into being" as if we are gods ourselves. That is a dangerous and unbiblical practice that can lead to pride and deception. Instead, our authority comes from submission to God’s will and His Word. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10). Our words should align with His will, not our own desires or attempts to manipulate circumstances.

You mention being redeemed from Satan and those who act like him, and we affirm that Christ has indeed triumphed over the powers of darkness. Colossians 2:15 tells us, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." But we must be careful not to give Satan or his forces more credit than they deserve. The enemy is already defeated, and we do not need to engage in spiritual warfare as if we are commanding God or binding demons in our own strength. Our focus should be on walking in the victory Christ has already won for us.

We also notice your mention of financial freedom, a garage door, a vehicle, and even a vape. While we understand the desire for provision and comfort, we must ask: Are these things aligning with God’s priorities for your life? The Bible warns us against the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10) and encourages us to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). If our desires are rooted in selfishness or worldly comforts, they can become idols that distract us from God’s true purpose. We must examine our hearts and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where we are seeking our own will above God’s.

You also declare that you and your family are redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and we rejoice in that truth! The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7) and has broken every curse (Galatians 3:13). But redemption is not just a one-time declaration, it is a daily walk of faith, repentance, and obedience. Are you and your family walking in the fullness of that redemption? Are you living lives that honor God in every area, including how you treat one another, how you handle finances, and how you steward the blessings He has given you?

Now, let us pray together in alignment with God’s Word and His will:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the redemption You have provided through the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You that You have broken every chain of despair, sorrow, and hopelessness in the lives of Your children. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope that surpasses all understanding. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we repent for any ways we have tried to take control of our circumstances instead of trusting in You. Forgive us for speaking words of demand rather than words of faith and surrender. Teach us to pray, "Your will be done," and to trust that You are working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Help us to walk in humility, knowing that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

Lord, we ask for Your provision in every area of their lives. You know their needs, and we trust You to meet them according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). But more than material blessings, we ask that You would fill them with a hunger for Your Word, a passion for Your presence, and a desire to live lives that bring glory to Your name. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We rebuke every spirit of poverty, lack, and despair that has sought to oppress them. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray for breakthrough in their finances, their relationships, and their spiritual lives. But Lord, we ask that You would align their desires with Your will. If there are areas where they are seeking things that do not honor You, reveal those to them and give them the strength to surrender them to You.

Father, we pray for their family, mom, the three children, and even their pets, that You would bless them and keep them. May they be a family that loves You, serves You, and walks in unity. Protect them from every scheme of the enemy, and let Your light shine brightly in their home.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. If there is anyone in this family who does not yet know You as their personal Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and soften their hearts to receive Him. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they experience the fullness of life that comes only through a relationship with You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name that brings salvation, healing, and deliverance. Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to continue seeking God with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in your faith and hold you accountable. And remember, the battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Rest in Him, trust in Him, and let Him fight for you. You are redeemed, not by your own strength, but by the blood of the Lamb. Walk in that truth every day.

We hear the life in your words, the fierce relief and joy breaking through. Thank you for sharing this moment with us, it's a genuine shout of faith, and we're grateful to celebrate it alongside you.

What you're declaring is grounded in something deeper than the words themselves: the redemption Jesus already secured. You didn't have to earn it or summon it; He bought your freedom on the cross, paying a debt you could never pay, and now you belong to Him. That truth stands firm even on days when feelings waver. So when you speak life over your mom, your children, your pets, and every practical need, from the garage door to finances to travel, you are standing on solid ground, agreeing with what Christ has already won for you.

We know the enemy would love to distract you with despair, to whisper that the victory isn't real or lasting. But the same blood of Jesus that covers your family also gives you authority to resist those lies. You don't have to shout louder or strain for the right words; you can rest in Whose you are. Keep bringing those specific longings to the Father, trusting that He sees every detail and delights to provide in His perfect timing.

In the days ahead, when the euphoria fades and ordinary life returns, hold onto the reality that your redemption isn't dependent on your perfect faith or flawless declarations, it's anchored in the completed work of Christ. That's what sustains us long-term.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this precious breakthrough. Thank You that You have truly redeemed this one, their mom, their children, and their pets from every darkness. Continue to flood their heart with peace and joy, and let them taste Your faithful provision in every area they've poured out before You, whether it's the practical need for transportation, finances, or the desire to see family abroad. Guard them from discouragement, and help them rest in the finished work of the cross. We pray this in Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

You speak of claiming and commanding and decreeing, as though the Almighty were a servant to be summoned by the sound of your words. Take heed, for true faith is no magical chant; it is the lowly trust of a soul that rests upon the finished work of Christ. The blood of Jesus is not a talisman for obtaining worldly trinkets or the objects of fleshly desire, it is the infinite price of redemption from sin and everlasting ruin. You cry out in great anguish, and I hear the voice of despair mingled with bitter accusations against those you deem your enemies. But let me ask you plainly: has your sorrow driven you to loathe your sin, to fall before the cross, and to say from the heart, ā€œGod be merciful to me a sinnerā€? There is a sorrow that worketh death, a grief that turns inward and feeds upon itself in darkness and complaint. That sorrow is of the world. But there is a godly sorrow, a sweet and wholesome sorrow, that worketh repentance to salvation never to be regretted. Which sorrow fills your bosom?

You call yourself redeemed, yet you fight with your own breath against demons and scouts and haters. Redemption is not our own work of warring words; it is the sovereign deliverance wrought by Christ alone. He gave His life a ransom for many, and by that great redemption He rescues His people from the tyranny of the devil, from the curse of the law, and from the bondage of their own corruptions. Hide yourself in Him, and let Him be your shield. Despair is a high insult to God, it denies His mercy, questions His faithfulness, and makes a false throne for the adversary. No soul has any right to sink there while Jesus lives and the promise stands sure. If your wounds are so deep that no human plaster can heal them, then glory be to God, for He delights to take up cases that baffle all skill.

You speak of financial freedom, of a garage door, a vehicle, a vape, a man, and you speak as if these were the proofs of deliverance. Child, Christ doth not exempt us from sorrow, nor from the crosses of this present life. He takes away the curse, but He does not take away every trial. Many a dear saint has groaned under poverty and pain, yet has lost not his faith. Set your affection on things above; lay hold upon eternal life. If you should lose every earthly comfort, yet having Christ you have enough. The tearless life is there, in the New Jerusalem, not guaranteed here below. Yet even here, in all your sea of trouble, if you are in Christ, there is not one drop of divine wrath; it is all fatherly chastisement and love.

Instead of commanding and demanding, go to your knees in humble prayer. Wrestle with the angel of the covenant as Jacob did, and say, ā€œI will not let Thee go, except Thou bless me.ā€ Quit your loud decrees, and wait upon the Lord in quietness and confidence. The more you know of God’s attributes, the more you treasure up His promises, the more impossible it will be for Satan to drive you to despondency. Hold on, then, do not surrender to the madness of despair. Christ is still able to save to the uttermost all that come unto God by Him. Let your sorrow be a sanctified sorrow that cleans the windows of your soul to behold your Redeemer. Soon all this passing affliction will be swallowed up in glory, and you shall sing the new song of deliverance forever. Until then, trust, obey, and live upon the faithfulness of your covenant God.

Your cry betrays a soul caught between a desperate grasp for victory and the weariness of a battle not yet won. The devil, that wicked spirit, never despairs of our destruction, and it is to our great condemnation if we despair of our own salvation. You shout that you are redeemed from sorrow and that it is over, yet your heart still clamors with fear about garage doors, finances, a vehicle, a vapor, and a man. These are not wrong to desire, but when you try to command them into existence as if God were at your beckoning, you reveal a faith that is more incantation than trust. He who stands and hears the Bridegroom’s voice rejoices greatly; he does not make loud decrees but listens and obeys. The blood of Jesus is not a tool for our demands, but the fountain of mercy for those who, in patience and humility, receive the word in good soil.

You speak life but do you hear it? The way of salvation requires more than a one-time cry: there must be careful hearing, continual recollection, and deliverance from all worldly clamor. The teacher must be patient, never tiring of the same words, for just as the fisherman casts his net all day without catching, so the plow of the word must break the hardened ground time and again. If you do not see the results you long for, do not despair. To sin is grievous, but to despair is worse, for it shuts the door to the very repentance that could heal you. We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair. Your family, your pets, and your own soul are in the hands of the One who met the trembling women with ā€œAll hailā€ and gave them joy beyond fear. Cease your loud decreeing, and learn to stand quietly, to hear, and to follow. In that patient, enduring faith, you will find that the Redeemer has indeed already triumphed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are fighting hard in that prayer, and I can hear both the anguish and the defiant faith in your words. There is a deep sense of having been under something, of feeling that sorrow and despair have been assigned to you and your family like a dark inheritance. And you are rising up to renounce it with every ounce of your being.

That matters. Calling on the blood of Jesus over your mother, your children, your home, your finances, that is not nothing. But notice how the Bible handles this. When the people stood in the valley and the curses were read from Mount Ebal, they had to cry out, so be it, and accept the justice of God. The curses were real because sin is real. But the purpose was never to leave anyone under them. The purpose was to turn their hearts back.

There is a kind of sorrow that just keeps circling back to itself. It lashes out, it exaggerates, and it leaves you feeling like every gate is barred, every provision is blocked, and even the smallest mercy is being withheld. That sorrow works death. It feels righteous to cry, ā€œThey don’t want me happy,ā€ but that mindset keeps your eyes on the very people or forces you believe are against you. Despair so often comes from seeing only half of the truth, from looking only at what you can see and not taking God into account.

But there is another kind of sorrow, and that is the one you really need right now. Godly sorrow doesn’t just say, ā€œTake this curse away.ā€ Godly sorrow looks up and says, ā€œLord, what in me needs to change?ā€ It’s the difference between Peter weeping bitterly after he denied Jesus and then walking in a new boldness at Pentecost, versus Judas just sorrowing over being caught and going out to hang himself. One led to repentance, to salvation, and to no regret. The other led only to destruction.

You mentioned a man named Jabez. His own mother named him Sorrow. Whether it was a difficult birth, a physical impairment, or some great grief, she looked at that baby and saw pain. But the name did not define him. What made him stand out was not the label put on him, but that he became honorable and he cried out to God for enlargement and blessing. His sorrow was the starting point, not the destination.

That is what I want for you. The frantic commanding and decreeing can sometimes be a symptom of a heart still trapped in fear. Fear leads to despair, and in despair we often do foolish things, lash out, and feel like we have to force heaven’s hand. But the secret of turning despair into confidence is getting your eyes off yourself, off the people causing you trouble, off the vape, the garage door, the vehicle, the man, and onto the Lord himself. This I recall to mind, therefore I have hope. It was not a formula. It was remembering that God’s mercies are new every morning.

You are not going to bypass godly sorrow. You have to let the Holy Spirit show you if there is any way in you that needs to be grieved over and renounced, not just the sin of others against you, but your own responses. The sorrow that brings real change works a repentance you will never regret. The sorrow that just fumes over what the enemy is doing will eat you alive.

Your sorrow for yourself, for your children, for the weight of it all, is real and I do not dismiss it. When Scripture says we do not sorrow as those without hope, it does not deny the sorrow. It just changes where your mind is set. If your mom is in Christ, if your children are the Lord’s, then even the deepest afflictions are not the final word. You can hold the sorrow of the present in one hand and the joy of the eternal hope in the other.

So let this be a time of bringing that sorrow before the Lord and asking him to make it godly. Let him deal with your heart. Then you will find that the curses being spoken over your family don’t stick, because the blessing of obedience and the covering of Christ is on your household. He is the one who hears your voice, looks upon your affliction, and brings you out. Stop trying to command everything into existence from a place of panic. Rest in the one who has already redeemed you, and watch how that peace changes the atmosphere in your home far more than a loud decree ever could.
