We rejoice that you declare your redemption through the blood of Jesus, for it is only by His sacrifice that we are made whole. Let us come together in prayer and truth, aligning your heart with God’s perfect will.

First, we must address the foundation of all redemption: the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him alone that we receive forgiveness, healing, and deliverance. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, no true redemption can take root.

Now, let us lift up your specific requests to the Lord with faith and discernment.

You speak of being redeemed from "not hearing accurately." We pray that God would open your spiritual ears to hear His voice clearly, as Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27). May the Holy Spirit remove any confusion, deception, or hindrances so that you may discern God’s truth and walk in it. We rebuke every spirit of confusion and misunderstanding in the name of Jesus, declaring that your ears are attuned to the Word of God.

For your family, we pray for unity, love, and restoration. May God heal any broken relationships and draw each member closer to Him. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). We declare that your home is built on the foundation of Christ, and that His peace reigns in every corner.

Regarding your pets, we acknowledge that God cares for all His creation, and we pray for their well-being and happiness. However, we must gently remind you that while animals are a blessing, they are not substitutes for human companionship or the fulfillment that comes from a relationship with God. If you are seeking emotional support, we encourage you to first seek the Lord, who is the ultimate Comforter (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). If you are considering a service animal, we pray for wisdom and provision, but we also caution against placing undue emotional reliance on pets rather than on God Himself.

You mention a desire for stability in your home, including an "iron gate that locks." We pray for God’s protection over your dwelling, that it would be a place of safety and peace. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). However, we must also address the spirit of fear or instability that may be driving this request. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or insecurity in the name of Jesus and declare that your trust is in the Lord, not in physical barriers.

We also notice the repetition of "greatly" and "fold greatly," which may indicate a struggle with exaggeration or an unhealthy fixation on certain desires. The Bible warns us against being double-minded or unstable in our ways (James 1:8). We pray that God would give you a balanced, sober mind, focused on His will rather than on exaggerated outcomes. Let your yes be yes and your no be no (Matthew 5:37), trusting that God’s plans for you are good and perfect.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and redeemed. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that washes away sin and brings healing and restoration. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would open their spiritual ears to hear Your voice clearly. Remove every hindrance, every spirit of confusion, and every lie of the enemy that has kept them from walking in Your truth.

We pray for their family, that You would knit their hearts together in love and unity. May Your peace rule in their home, and may Your presence be their ultimate security. Lord, we ask for wisdom and provision regarding their pets, but we also pray that their emotional needs would be met first and foremost by You, the God of all comfort.

Father, we declare stability over their home, not because of iron gates or physical barriers, but because of Your protection and Your promises. We rebuke every spirit of fear and anxiety, and we declare that their trust is in You alone. Give them a sound mind, free from exaggeration or instability, and help them to walk in Your perfect will.

Lord, we thank You for the redemption that is found in Jesus Christ. May our brother/sister grow in their relationship with You, finding their identity and purpose in You alone. We declare that they are redeemed, healed, and whole in the name of Jesus. May their life bring glory to You in every way.

You cry out for redemption from not hearing accurately, and well you may, for it is a dreadful thing to hear amiss. Yet note this: the Lord Jesus has given you a desire for true hearing, and that very longing is a token of His work in you. The ear of the soul must be opened by His own finger, else all your striving will be in vain. As I have said, "spiritual life is only from God," and if you would hear aright, you must cry to Him who makes the deaf to hear and the blind to see. Go often to your closet after hearing the Word, and pray for a blessing upon it, lest the fowls of the air snatch away the seed. Heedful hearing is a personal, hungering hearing, hear for yourself, as if no other soul were in the aisle. This is the hearing of faith, by which the Spirit comes to men.

You speak much of redemption: your own, your family, your pets. Remember that the blood of Jesus Christ is mighty to redeem from sin and death, but its first work is upon your own soul. Are you indeed washed in that precious fountain? Then let your life be immediate service, for as soon as Jesus heals, He sets the healed one to minister. You owe your very life to Him; spend it in His service, not merely in seeking comforts for yourself. The body indeed is dead because of sin, and it may require aid from creatures, yet your true stability lies not in a dog for walks, nor in a gate of iron, but in the living God. These outward things He may grant in His mercy, but they are poor props if your heart leans upon them instead of upon Christ.

There is a fear that whispers in your words, a fear of instability, of the future. Even the bravest saints are sometimes afraid, as David, that man of war, confessed. Yet what time you are afraid, trust in the Lord. Look to the Son of God pouring out His life, and your sins will flee in a moment. He who gave Himself for you will not withhold any good thing. But remember, this world is not meant to be a nest; God plants thorns here that we might mount up and find our true home above. Your home may be made stable, but the soul’s anchor is cast within the veil, not on earthly gates.

I would not have you think that spiritual life is maintained in a crowd alone. You must often be alone with your Lord, and there find the peace that passes understanding. As for your desire that all be "folded greatly with the blood of Jesus," I urge you to make certain that you yourself are wholly folded in that atoning sacrifice. Then, having heard the Gospel with an attentive, desiring, and personal ear, go forth to speak on God’s behalf. Tell others that the battle of life, stern though it is, does not baffle His counsel or His care. Let the zeal of David for the worship of the Most High take hold of you, and make it your life-work to glorify Him who went about doing good. Thus shall your healing be complete, and your hearing be filled with the sweet music of His voice.

You cry out for redemption from not hearing accurately, and you speak of life. Yet I ask you: what is it you truly long to hear? Is it the still, small voice of God in the Scriptures, or merely the assurance of a dog at your side and an iron gate that locks? You have made your request with many words, but the heart of the matter is not the acquisition of comforts or the stability of a house. True redemption is not a charm to summon earthly securities; it is the deliverance of your soul from sin and death through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Do not be a careless hearer of this truth. The apostle warns that if we only hear and wonder, but bear home nothing, we are worse than those who never heard. You ask to be redeemed from not hearing accurately: then begin by hearing accurately the word that calls you to repentance and detachment from worldly things. What is an emotional service pet but another care of this life? Did not our Lord say, “Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you”? The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life. That gift exceeds by infinite measure the provision of a walking dog, flexible limbs, or a bolted gate. Yet you pore over these trifles as though your soul’s peace depended on them.

Perhaps you are annoyed at hearing this, and think I would irritate you further. But I speak that you may be free, free from the parade of this life, free from the anxieties that chain you to unstable things. I would rather you grieve now, for godly grief works a change for the better. Your true service animal is the fear of the Lord; your unbreakable fortress is faith working through love. The blood of Jesus was not shed to fold a house into existence, but to fold you into the family of God, making you a son, an heir, a joint-heir with Christ. That is the life you are to speak, not a mere positive declaration of temporal wants, but the confession of His lordship and your redemption from the power of sin.

Come, then, frequently to the hearing of the Divine words in the assembly. Lay aside this heaviness about pets and locks and the need for emotional support from beasts. Cast your care upon Him who cares for you, and obtain the mercy that is far beyond what you ask: the remission of sins, the indwelling of the Spirit, and a stable hope that no earthly gate can secure. Let your soul be healed first, and your body and dwelling will find their proper order under His providence. Amen.

The words you’ve spoken carry a deep longing, to hear clearly, to see your family and even your pets flourishing, and to have a home marked by safety and peace. That longing points to something real: our spirits thirst for what only God can provide. Often we reach for emotional comforts, thinking a new situation or a companion will finally settle our hearts. But a pet, as wonderful as that bond can be, cannot satisfy the thirst of the soul. The water this world offers always leaves us thirsty again. Jesus alone says, “Come to me and drink,” and out of that drink flows a stable joy that no circumstance and no set of emotions can take away.

You mentioned an iron gate that locks, a detail that brings to mind a truth about God’s ways. In Scripture we see a gate that remains shut, not because it is broken, but because it is reserved. The Lord enters by that gate; it is not for every common use. Some things in our lives are shut by His hand, not to frustrate us, but because His timing and His method are holy. A locked gate can be a profound protection, keeping out what would harm the innocent within your home. That image of a rabid dog running among children reminds us that we are right to guard against influences that would infect and destroy. So when you pray for a stable home, know that God may secure it with boundaries you don’t yet understand. Don’t try to force open what He has wisely closed.

The desire to be “flexible again” and to have emotional service pets for walks reveals a deeper need to be unbound within. But freedom and healing start inwardly. Emotional moments can bring a quick release, but if the heart remains unchanged, the same struggles will return, just as a king’s tears of remorse faded and he chased the same old hurts again. Lasting peace is not built on an emotional appeal or a new possession; it takes root when we abide in Christ and let His words shape our reality. The blood of Jesus has already redeemed you fully, that is an unchanging fact. You don’t need to plead it into existence; you rest in it and align your steps with the One who entered the true gate on your behalf.

As for hearing accurately, test every voice by the truth already given in Scripture. Many voices promise fulfillment but leave the spirit emptier than before. The household anchored in God’s word learns to recognize the Shepherd’s voice and dismiss the stranger’s. A home where Christ dwells becomes a place of genuine safety, not because every external lock is in place, but because hearts are guarded by His peace. Let that be the stability you seek first, and trust that everything else, even the small joys of creation in a pet, will be added in due season, never as a substitute for His presence, but as a gift to enjoy with thankfulness.
