Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. We rejoice with you in the blessings the Lord has poured into your life! It is truly wonderful to see how God has provided for your needs, your pets, your home, and your work, all by His grace. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above (James 1:17), and we give Him all the glory for His faithfulness in your life.

We want to gently remind you, beloved, that our redemption is not merely in material or earthly provisions, but first and foremost in Christ Jesus. It is through His blood that we have forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and eternal life (Ephesians 1:7). While we celebrate the blessings of pets, a home, and employment, let us always keep our hearts fixed on the greatest gift, salvation through Jesus Christ. He alone is our Redeemer, and in Him, we find true life, peace, and purpose.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision in the life of Your child. Thank You for blessing them with pets that bring joy, a home that provides shelter, and work that sustains them. Lord, we ask that You continue to guide them in all their ways, that they may walk in wisdom and discernment. Help them to remember that every blessing comes from You, and may their heart overflow with praise and thanksgiving.

Father, we also pray that You would draw them closer to You. May they find their greatest joy and fulfillment in a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Let them never lose sight of the eternal redemption You have given them through His sacrifice. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may live a life that honors You in all they do.

Lord, if there are areas where they may be placing too much emphasis on earthly blessings, gently correct their heart and remind them that You are their true treasure. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We rebuke any spirit of materialism or distraction that would seek to pull their focus away from You, Lord. May their identity always be rooted in Christ, and may they find their security and worth in You alone.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, continue to seek the Lord with all your heart. Let your gratitude for His blessings lead you into deeper worship and obedience. Remember, God delights in providing for His children, but His greatest desire is for you to know Him intimately and to walk in His ways. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust Him to lead you into all truth and righteousness.

May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly, not just in material ways, but in spiritual growth, wisdom, and a deeper love for Him. Walk in His grace and share the love of Christ with those around you.

God cares about these very real, physical needs, and it's clear you're tasting that goodness right now.

We also hear your hope for the next secret job, and we're joining you in praying that door opens, that you can get to work urgently, without worry, just as you've described. What you've seen so far can build your confidence that God is already working ahead of you on that too. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do in a season of answered prayer is to stop and mark it, write it down, tell a trusted friend, or simply pause each evening to name the good that showed up that day. It creates a kind of anchor for your heart when harder days come, reminding you that God showed up before and will again. Your story can also be a gift to others who are still waiting; your joy right now might be exactly the encouragement someone else needs to hold on.

Father, thank You for these good gifts, for the pets that bring companionship, for the working bathroom and kitchen that restore dignity and rest, and for the provision of work and income. We ask that You clear the way for this next job, letting it come openly and without anxiety. Watch over these ### offspring, and continue to meet every need they have. We rejoice with this dear one today, in Jesus' name. Amen.

A grievous misapprehension lies at the heart of this cry. You have taken the high and holy word "redemption" and dragged it through the mire of earthly desires. You speak as if the precious blood of Christ were shed to secure fat cats and indoor plumbing. This is to make the atonement a merchant's transaction for trifles. Know you not that a mistake on this point will lead to a mistake through the entire system of your belief? The redemption of the soul is precious, and it ceases forever when a man seeks to be redeemed from lacking temporal comforts rather than from the guilt and power of sin. What saith the Scripture? "He gave his life a ransom for many", a ransom from sin, from death, from hell, not a ransom from not having a dog to follow at your heels.

I hear no note of Job in this clamour. Job fell down upon the ground and worshipped when stripped of all; he charged not God foolishly. Yet you storm heaven’s gate not for holiness but for a shower-bath. You have not seen the Lord as Job saw Him, or you would abhor yourself and repent in dust and ashes. Where is the cry to be redeemed from a hard heart, from an impatient spirit, from a rebellious will? There is full redemption from these, but you ask for a secret job and running toilets. This is to treasure pennies while the bank of heaven stands open. It is the blindness of a soul that thinks the body’s convenience is the great redemption.

Yet even in this, there may be a spark to fan. If you would have this lesser deliverance, begin with the first, faith in the blood. The redemption by price must precede the redemption by power in your daily life. Seek first to be bought with that awful price, to be no longer your own. Then the Holy Spirit will teach you to want, not three pets, but the Living Water. Your portion is not fatness of cats but freshness of soul, anointed with fresh oil. Till then, your pleadings must be retracted. Who are you to contend with your Maker over a matter of a secret workplace? We are wrong, God must be right. Let your prayer be remodeled upon Job’s later end, not demanding twice the goods, but receiving them as an unearned gift after you have seen His face and declared His ways right even in the ash-heap. Truly, the redemption Christ wrought out is plenteous, plenteous to cover all your real wants, but you mistake the nature of the captivity you need redemption from.

You cry out for redemption from lacking pets, from lacking plumbing, from wanting two jobs. But what is this redemption you seek? You have turned the mighty work of Christ into a means to gain a dog and a bathtub. By the Blood of Jesus you were bought with a price, but not for these passing shadows.

The present life is a sleep, and the things in it are no different from dreams. As in a dream, one may seem to have riches or comforts, but when the day breaks, they vanish. Do not make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. To seek beyond what is necessary for health, to demand luxuries and call it redemption, is to kindle a furnace of desire that will consume you.

Christ entered once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. That is true redemption: freedom from sin and death, not freedom from an outhouse or the want of three pets. Do you not see how covetousness has turned all things upside down, making money and comfort the measure of all? Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and these earthly things, as far as they are truly needed, will be added.

But to pray so urgently for secret jobs and fat cats while neglecting the care of your soul is to shut the kingdom against yourself. Repent of this earthly frame, and learn to say with the Apostle: I have learned, in whatever state I am, to be content. Make provision for your body only for health, not for wantonness, and spend your labors on the eternal riches that no rust can corrupt.

Your cry of redemption rings with the boldness of someone who knows that every good thing comes from God’s hand. You are declaring over your life, your pets, your home, and your work that the blood of Jesus has covered it all. That is no small faith.

The Scriptures give us a portrait of a man who lost everything, his possessions, his children, his health, yet fell on his face and worshiped. He said, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away.” What the world saw as total ruin, God saw as the integrity of a servant who would not curse Him. The friends who came to comfort him could only see suffering as proof of hidden sin. They reasoned that no one endures such things unless God’s heavy hand of judgment is upon them. But they were utterly wrong. The real battle was happening in heavenly places, where God was bragging on His servant’s faithfulness.

You are not those friends. You are not looking at your need for running water, for steady work, or for the simple joy of animals around you as a mark of forgotten favor. Instead, you are reaching for the blood that speaks a better word. You are aligning your mouth with redemption. That is the very thing Job longed for, a daysman, a mediator who could lay his hand on both God and man. We know that Mediator is Jesus. He stands between our insufficiency and the Father’s abundance.

When circumstances shout that something must be secretly wrong, remember that the silence of heaven does not mean abandonment. The psalmist saw the wicked prospering while the righteous wept, and it confounded him until he entered the sanctuary of God. Your secret job, your restored home, your happy cats and the dog who follows you everywhere, these are not trinkets to be ashamed to ask for. The God who numbers the stars also cares about the sparrow that falls. He cares about what concerns you.

Do not let anyone accuse you of folly for believing God is fair and just. He is. And the same Jesus whose blood you speak over your life is the One who turns cries of desperation into testimonies of provision. Job’s words were printed in a book, and your words are heard by the same unchanging God. Stand in what He has already purchased. The redemption you are shouting about is already yours.
