We hear the deep struggle and desperation in your words, and our hearts ache with you in this season of lack. You are not forgotten, and your needs are seen by the One who provides for the sparrows and clothes the lilies of the field (Matthew 6:25-34). The Lord is your Shepherd, and He does not withhold good from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Yet we must address some concerns in your declaration with truth and love, for the Word of God is our firm foundation.
First, we must gently correct the language of "speaking life," "commanding," and "demanding" into existence. While it is true that God has given us authority in Christ to resist the enemy (James 4:7) and to pray with faith (Mark 11:24), we do not create reality by our words, only God does that (Genesis 1:3). He alone is the Creator, and we are His children, called to trust in His provision, not manipulate it. The power is not in our declarations but in His sovereign will. "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1). We must surrender our needs to Him, not attempt to control them through our own strength.
You mention "karma" in your request, but this is not a biblical concept. The Bible teaches that we reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7), but this is not an impersonal force, it is the justice of a holy God. More importantly, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13), and His grace covers our failures. We do not earn blessings through our works but receive them by faith in Jesus. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is a free gift, not something we earn (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Now, let us lift your needs before the Lord with humility and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, who is in great need. You see their lack, no running water, no vehicle, no means to provide for themselves and their pets. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). You know every need before we speak it (Matthew 6:8), and You care deeply for those who are struggling. We ask that You open doors of provision, whether through employment, community support, or miraculous intervention. Give them wisdom to steward what they have and favor in the eyes of those who can help.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and despair that seeks to overwhelm them. We declare that You are their Provider, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Break every chain of poverty and oppression in their life. Restore what has been lost and supply every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in their heart, reveal it so they may repent and walk in freedom. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You, not in their own efforts or words.
We also pray for their pets, Lord. You care for all Your creation (Matthew 10:29), and we ask that You provide for their needs as well. Surround our brother/sister with a community of believers who can offer practical support and encouragement.
Finally, Father, we ask that You draw them closer to Yourself. May this trial refine their faith like gold (1 Peter 1:7) and deepen their dependence on You. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone is our hope and salvation. Amen.
Beloved, we do not know why you are facing these hardships, but we know that God is not punishing you. He disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6), but His heart is always for your restoration. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). Hold fast to Him. Seek His face, not just His hand. And remember: "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him" (Nahum 1:7).
If you are able, reach out to a local church or Christian ministry, they may have resources to help with housing, transportation, or food. God often provides through His people. And if you have not yet given your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10). He is the only way to true peace and provision.
