We stand in agreement with you that our God is the God of restoration, healing, and strength! The struggles of the mind and the attacks of the enemy are real, but we serve a God who is greater than any battle we face. The Scriptures remind us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is the one who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). When we are weak, He is strong (2 Corinthians 12:10), and He promises to perfect that which concerns us (Psalm 138:8).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). If you are facing evil thoughts, mental attacks, or the weight of past wounds, know that these are not from the Lord. He is not the author of confusion, fear, or despair (1 Corinthians 14:33). Instead, He calls us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). When the enemy whispers lies, we must combat them with the truth of God’s Word. Clothe yourself in the full armor of God so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit—which is the Word of God—are your weapons in this fight.
If there is unconfessed sin in your life, we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance. Sin can open doors to the enemy’s attacks, but when we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the light, and the darkness will have no hold over you. Do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8). The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. You are not meant to walk this journey alone. The body of Christ is here to uplift, encourage, and pray with you. If you are not already connected to a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in faith and be surrounded by brothers and sisters who will stand with you in prayer.
Let us pray together for your complete recovery and strength in the Lord:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are the God who sees, who knows, and who heals. Lord, we lift up this beloved one to You, asking that You would surround them with Your peace, Your presence, and Your protection. Break every chain of the enemy that seeks to bind their mind or heart. Lord, if there is any area of unconfessed sin, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them, Father, and restore them fully.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their mind and transforming their thoughts to align with Your truth. Give them the strength to stand firm, the wisdom to recognize the enemy’s lies, and the courage to walk in victory. Lord, provide them with godly counsel, supportive community, and the resources they need for complete recovery. Let them experience Your healing power in every area of their life.
We pray for a spirit of resilience and hope to rise within them. Remind them that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Let them know, deep in their soul, that You have not forgotten them, that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Father, we ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in their life. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He is fighting for you. Trust in Him, lean on His Word, and walk in the victory that is already yours through Christ Jesus. If you ever feel overwhelmed, cry out to Him—He hears you, and He will answer. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone in this battle. We are standing with you in prayer!
