Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning the reconciliation of your estranged family relationships. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord.
We appreciate your honesty in sharing that in your flesh you do not desire to reconcile and that you do not like these family members for multiple reasons including the harm they have caused and for other reasons as well. We admire your willingness to obey the Lord even when your feelings are in conflict with that obedience because you believe God wants you to reach out and has a purpose behind it. We have been praying that God will give you strength to walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh as we are reminded in Gal 5:17 and that He will help you to be kind and forgiving even as Christ forgave us as it is written in Eph 4:32. We are also praying that as far as it depends on you that you may live at peace with all as we are taught in Rom 12:18 and that He will prepare the hearts of your family members and bring healing where there has been hurt.
