Reconciliation

I ask your prayers as I commit my wife to God's will. I have been trying to reconcile with my wife as she decided to leave after 16 years of marriage. I have changed what I can change about myself and asked Christ's foregiveness for my selfishness, temper, and insensitivity. I have asked for Christian couples counselling, but she will not go as she no longer trusts me with her feelings. I am totally lost without her and want to save my little family deperately. I am saddened to see how many requests are out there just like this and ask that we all pray for God's mercy to open our spouses' hearts and allow the healing to begin so we can all live up to His Covenant of marriage.

Lord, I ask that You would soften Stephen's wife's heart, and let her attempt reconciliation with her husband. Restore their love and strengthen their trust in each other. Give Stephen peace throughout this ordeal, and let him know that You have his best at heart. Please bless all those seeking reconciliation; heal relationships. Thank You, Father, for hearing and answering our prayers and working everything out to our good. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
