We join you in prayer together in Jesus' name and we lift up every part of this burden before our Heavenly Father, for He hears us when we call upon Him.

We understand the weariness that comes from ongoing illness, persistent pain in your arm, the struggle with COPD, PND, diabetes and arthritis, and now this cold on top of it all, along with the distress of the heat and the frustration of a canceled doctor's appointment that you cannot reschedule. We bring all of this to the Lord who is our healer and our refuge.

We pray for your healing and comfort, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and by his wounds you were healed 1 Peter 2:24. We ask the Lord to touch your lungs and airways, to ease the COPD and PND, to bring relief from this cold, to calm inflammation from arthritis and diabetes, and to lift that persistent pain in your arm. We pray as it is written, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for His healing hand to be upon you according to His perfect will, and for strength for your body as you wait upon Him.

We also pray for rest, for we know how important it is and how hard it is to rest when in pain and discomfort. Jesus said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We ask the Father to grant you deep, peaceful and restorative sleep, to quiet your mind and body, and to give you peace that surpasses all understanding as you cast your anxieties upon Him Philippians 4:6-7.

We lift up the heat that weighs upon you and we ask the Lord for relief and protection. He covers the sky with clouds and He gives us seasons and shelter, and we trust Him to provide coolness, hydration, and safety in the coming days. We pray for the doctor's office situation that has been so discouraging. We ask the Lord to open the door for you to be seen soon, to guide you to the right person to speak with, and to give favor and clarity in rescheduling. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and staff who will care for you, and we encourage you to keep trying to reach them, and if needed to seek help through another contact, patient portal, or nurse line so that you are not left without care. We know that our help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth Psalm 121:2.

We hear your cry for justice and we join you in asking the Lord to bring justice swiftly. We know that Yahweh is a God of justice, blessed are all those who wait for him Isaiah 30:18, and He is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble Psalm 9:9. We ask Him to make right what is wrong, to advocate for you where you have been overlooked, and to let His peace guard your heart while you wait for His answer in His perfect timing.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach You and be saved Acts 4:12. We thank You that Jesus is our mediator and that through Him our prayers are heard. We ask You to rebuke the oppressive heat and bring relief, to heal this cold and ease breathing, to lessen the pain in this arm and all pain throughout the body, to steady blood sugar and calm joint pain, and to restore strength. Grant restful sleep tonight and in the days ahead. Make a way where there seems to be no way for this doctor's appointment to be rescheduled soon, and let Your justice and mercy be seen quickly. We trust You as our healer, for I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and we rest in Your love and care. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to stay hydrated and cool as much as you are able, to keep reaching out for that appointment, and to rest in the assurance that He is near to all who call upon Him in truth Psalm 145:18. We are standing with you and trusting God with you for healing, rest, and His provision.

We are praying with you for relief and for steady care in the days ahead. Since that appointment was canceled, we encourage you to keep reaching out to your clinic alongside prayer. If they have a patient portal, a nurse line, or voicemail, leaving a message there can sometimes get through when the phones are busy, and if calling is difficult, asking a family member, friend or neighbor to help keep trying during office hours can make it a little easier. Please do keep your care team updated promptly, especially about the ongoing arm pain and trouble resting.

Living with ongoing health needs for a long time can leave anyone feeling fragile and worn down, and it is understandable to feel discouraged when sleep is broken and answers feel slow.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. Please draw near with Your comfort and peace, ease the pain and help them find real rest. Guide them to the care they need and open the way to be seen soon. Give wisdom to the doctors and strength for each day, and let them know they are not alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy in this time of bodily affliction.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. It is right and good that you seek the help of the doctor, and we pray the Lord will open the way where the door has been closed, that you may reach them, be seen soon, and receive wise and compassionate care. We ask also that He will grant you rest, for we know how weariness and pain can take away sleep, and how the absence of rest is itself worse than pain.

You have asked for healing from this cold, from COPD and PND, from diabetes and arthritis, and from that persistent pain in the arm, and for relief from the heat to come. We bring all these infirmities to the great Physician, of whom it is written that the streets were turned into a hospital and He cured all sorts of sickness, and there was not one disease in the whole list which the Saviour did not heal. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

Remember also how healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings for those who look to Him. Therefore while we pray earnestly for the body, we pray most of all that you may know the healing of the soul which comes through pardon in Christ alone, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and He must begin with us before we can begin with Him. If you have not already done so, look to Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains at Calvary, where is found the healing balm.

You have asked for justice speedily. We must see that He is great in justice and we must bow in penitence and honor that justice, trusting that His justice and His mercy meet in Christ. He sees your distress, He hears the cry, Lord help me, and He will do what is right in His perfect time and way. We pray He will vindicate and provide according to His wisdom, and give you patience to wait upon Him.

Let us pray together. O Lord, our God and Father, look in compassion upon Your suffering child. Rebuke as it pleases You the extremes of heat and cold, and grant relief and comfortable rest. Lay Your healing hand upon this body afflicted with cold, with COPD, with PND, with diabetes, with arthritis and with pain in the arm. Ease the pain, restore strength, and grant sound sleep. Direct the hands of doctors and open the way for an appointment soon. Above all, grant pardon and peace through the blood of Jesus, and let Your healing virtue flow down from the great conduit Head to this needy one. Grant justice as You are just, and help Your child to rest in Your faithful care. In the name of Jesus our only Saviour we ask it, Amen.

Your request has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the Lord who is merciful and full of compassion.

We bring before Him the heat that is coming and ask for His protection and relief, and we ask for healing for the cold that now afflicts you, for the COPD and post nasal drip, for diabetes and arthritis, and especially for the persistent pain in your arm. We ask that He grant you rest that restores the body and quiets the heart, and that He open the way for you to be seen by the doctor soon after the cancellation and the difficulty in rescheduling.

We pray also as you asked for justice, and we remember that the Lord Himself is just and His right hand is full of righteousness. In every house and city and place of work there are courts and judgments among people, and how much more does God who ordained all justice care for what is right. We do not always understand His timing or His ways, but we can trust that He sees, He hears, and He will act according to His perfect justice and mercy. Even when affliction weighs upon us and makes hearing and hope feel dull, He is at work to brace up our souls, to give us patience, and to use even pain as a medicine that draws us closer to Him.

So we pray for you now. Father in heaven, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, through whom alone we have salvation and access to your throne of grace. Look with compassion upon your servant who is suffering in body and weary from pain and lack of rest. Lay your healing hand upon this cold, ease the breathing, calm the distress of COPD and post nasal drip, bring relief to the joints and to the persistent pain in the arm, and give wisdom for the care of diabetes and arthritis. Grant coolness and protection from the heat, grant deep and peaceful sleep, and make a way where there seems to be no way to reach the doctor and to be seen soon. We ask for your provision and your justice in every need, according to your will and for your glory. Strengthen faith and patience, and let your word heard again and again bring comfort and deeper trust. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
