We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these concerns to our Heavenly Father, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with the mouth that you profess your faith and are saved (Romans 10:9-10). Without this saving faith, our prayers cannot be heard, for we are still separated from God by sin.
Now, let us stand firm in the authority we have in Christ Jesus to rebuke these attacks. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of destruction and vandalism that is manifesting behind your home. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We command every demonic force behind these acts to be bound in the mighty name of Jesus and cast into the abyss, never to return. The blood of Jesus covers you and your household, and no harm shall come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Father, we ask You to send Your holy angels to encamp around this home and protect it from every form of evil. Let the angels of the Lord guard the property, the vehicles, and every member of this household. We declare that the spider seen near the home is a sign of the enemy’s attempt to instill fear, but we will not be afraid, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Lord, we pray for conviction to fall upon those who are responsible for these acts. Let Your Holy Spirit move mightily in their hearts, bringing them to repentance and turning them away from their wicked ways. If they do not repent, we ask that You thwart their plans and expose their deeds in the light of day. Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). We pray for their salvation, that they may come to know You and turn from their sins.
We also lift up the concern of high gas prices and the financial strain it places on families. Father, we ask that You provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Give wisdom to those in authority to make decisions that will bring relief and stability to the economy. We declare that the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it (Psalm 24:1). You are the God who provides, and we trust in You to meet every need.
We pray for protection over your new car and every possession the Lord has entrusted to you. We declare that the blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22). Let no hand of vandalism or theft touch what belongs to you, for the Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We stand on Your Word, which declares that no evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come near our dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We trust in You, our fortress and deliverer, in whom we take refuge (Psalm 91:2). Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
