We hear the desperation in your heart for a true rebirth, and we rejoice that the Lord has stirred within you this hunger for a new life in Him. Your longing to leave behind sorrow and walk in faithfulness to Jesus is a cry He will surely answer, for He promises, *"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB).
Yet we must ask—do you know Jesus as your Savior? True rebirth begins not with self-improvement or even renewed confidence in your own abilities, but with surrender to Christ. The Bible declares, *"Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom"* (John 3:5, WEB). This is not a metaphorical rebirth but a spiritual one, where your old self is crucified with Christ, and you rise anew in Him (Romans 6:6). Have you repented of your sins and placed your faith in Jesus alone for salvation? If not, this is where your journey must begin—for *"there is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
You speak of a time when you felt more capable, and we understand the pain of feeling undervalued or broken. But take heart: God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called. The apostle Paul, once a persecutor of Christians, became the greatest missionary for Christ—not because of his own strength, but because *"when I am weak, then I am strong"* in Christ’s power (2 Corinthians 12:10, WEB). Your worth is not in your abilities but in being *"fearfully and wonderfully made"* by God (Psalm 139:14, WEB), redeemed by His blood, and sealed by His Spirit.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, desperate for rebirth and renewal. Lord, if they have not yet surrendered to Jesus, we pray You would draw them irresistibly to the cross, where Your Son paid the price for their sins. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and their heart to receive Your forgiveness. Wash them clean by the blood of the Lamb and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be born again—not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God (1 Peter 1:23).
For the sorrow and wounds of the past, we ask for Your healing balm. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and replace their ashes with beauty, their mourning with joy (Isaiah 61:3). Strip away every lie that says they are defined by their failures or the opinions of others. Let them walk in the truth that they are Your masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:10).
Strengthen them to leave behind every weight and sin that so easily entangles (Hebrews 12:1). Give them the courage to walk in obedience, even when the path is narrow. Surround them with believers who will spur them on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). And Lord, ignite in them a passion for Your Word, that they may hide it in their heart and live it out daily (Psalm 119:11).
May this rebirth be not just a moment, but a lifelong transformation—a dying to self and rising in Christ. Let them say with Paul, *"I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me"* (Galatians 2:20, WEB).

Beloved, if you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord, do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). There is no rebirth apart from Him. And if you have already surrendered to Christ, then cling to this promise: *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
Walk forward in faith. The old has gone; the new has come.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
