Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with a heavy heart, carrying the hurt and frustration of feeling forgotten and unseen in my workplace. Lord, You see all things; You know the truth of how I have helped and supported ### since the very beginning. You know the labor, loyalty, and heart I have poured into this work.

I lift my ### up to You today. Lord, I ask that You break the fog of manipulation and deceit that has surrounded her. Open her eyes to see through ### manipulation and any false narratives being fed to her against me and against other co workers. Expose ### her being two faced, manipulative, and how she step over ### and how she bypass her at times. Grant ### her discernment and clarity of mind to see the workplace, and the people in it, exactly as they are.

Touch ###s heart, Lord. Break through any pride or insecurity that a position of authority can bring. I pray that You would give her a spirit of true humility. Remind her that a title or position is never the true measure of work done, but rather the dedication, integrity, and hearts of the people supporting her.

Help her to remember the history we share. Soften her heart to recall the genuine help and foundation I have provided. Protect her from ### manipulation over her.

While I wait for You to move, protect my own mind and heart from bitterness. Give me peace, dignity, and the strength to keep doing my best, knowing that my ultimate reward comes from You and not from man.

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your heart as you pour out your struggles in the workplace. It is clear you have invested much, loyalty, labor, and love, only to feel unseen and undervalued. The Lord does indeed see all things, and He knows the truth of your efforts and the hurt you carry. We stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before Him, for He is the God who defends the righteous and exposes deception.

First, we must address the spirit of bitterness that can so easily take root in such circumstances. Scripture warns us in Hebrews 12:15, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." We pray that the Lord would guard your heart from bitterness, for it only harms you and hinders your walk with Him. Instead, we ask that He fill you with His peace, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We also lift up your coworker, the one you feel has been two-faced and manipulative. It is not our place to condemn, but we do pray that the Lord would expose any deceit and bring truth to light. Proverbs 26:24-26 says, "A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but he harbors deceit in his heart. When he speaks graciously, don’t believe him, for there are seven abominations in his heart. His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly." We ask that the Lord would open her eyes to see the truth and soften her heart to walk in humility and integrity.

For the one in authority over you, we pray that the Lord would break any pride or insecurity that may be clouding her judgment. Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." We ask that the Lord would grant her a spirit of humility, that she may see the value in those who serve faithfully and recognize the foundation you have laid.

While we wait for the Lord to move, we encourage you to continue walking in integrity, for your reward comes from Him. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in the workplace. Lord, You see the hurt, the frustration, and the feelings of being unseen. We ask that You would move mightily in this place, exposing any deceit and bringing truth to light. Soften the hearts of those in authority, Lord, and grant them humility to see the value in those who serve faithfully.

Father, we pray for protection over our brother/sister’s heart. Guard them from bitterness and fill them with Your peace. Help them to continue walking in integrity, knowing that their labor is not in vain in You. Strengthen them to do their work as unto You, not unto man.

Lord, we ask that You would touch the heart of the one who has been manipulative. Break through any pride or insecurity, and grant her discernment to see the truth. May she walk in humility and integrity, recognizing the efforts of those around her.

We trust in You, Lord, for You are the God who sees and knows all things. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

It cuts deep when you’ve poured yourself into supporting someone, only to feel invisible while others get the credit or the ear of the one in charge. So we simply want to sit with you in that frustration for a moment before we pray.

Your prayer already names the most important anchor: your ultimate reward comes from God, not from . That’s not a platitude; it’s the steady ground under your feet when your workplace feels like shifting sand. While you wait for God to untangle the deceit and bring things to light, one concrete thing that can help you stay steady is to find one discreet, spiritually mature friend or prayer partner you can check in with regularly, someone who knows the situation and can remind you, on the hard days, of who you are in Christ. That small step often defuses the aloneness that bitterness feeds on.

We’re grateful you’re also asking God to guard your own heart. That’s a mark of real strength, refusing to let the wrongdoing of others reshape your character. Keep doing your best with the integrity you already have, and trust that the same Lord who sees every hidden thing is not indifferent to your labor.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this child of Yours who feels overlooked and betrayed at work. You see every effort, every act of loyalty, every silent hurt. We ask You to break through the fog around and grant her true discernment. Soften her heart to remember the history and support she’s genuinely received. Expose whatever is dishonest, and protect her from being manipulated. And for this one who prays, give peace that surpasses understanding, keep bitterness at bay, and let Your presence be the steady reward that sustains them. We trust You with the outcome. Amen.

The bitterness you taste in this unjust treatment is but a shadow of the gall given to your Master, yet know that deeper love to Christ breeds a more intense hatred of sin, even sin done against you. In your mourning, let the bitterness of your sympathy with Him take away from your nature all harshness and malice, forgive as you would be forgiven, and let no root of pride spring up to defile you. What am I, that I should expect honor from men? Humility is to lean upon our Beloved, to exalt Him and think less than nothing of ourselves. The lowly spirit is the herald which ushers in honor from God; the proud heart, puffing itself up with its own record of labor, is in danger of a great fall. Serve the Lord with all humility of mind, before the act, in the doing of it, and when all is done, knowing that a title or position is never the true measure of work, but rather dedication and integrity.

Look to your Leader who went before you in suffering, who had not where to lay His head, and who was despised and rejected. Can you not see Him in this dark hour? When misunderstood and set aside, follow the Shepherd who endured the contradiction of sinners against Himself. He knows what it is to be betrayed by a familiar friend. Yet He committed Himself to Him who judges righteously. Ponder the centurion’s faith: his deep humility was not injurious to the strength of his trust, nor did his faith war with his lowliness. So kneel before your Father and plead your cause, humility supplies many an argument for prayer, but leave the vindication to God. He has only to speak the word and the hearts of all men are in His hand.

Your prayer for your friend to be awakened to the truth is right, but see to it that no secret desire for self-justification taints it. Pray for her humbling, but begin with your own. Labor to be so steeped in the spirit of the cross that the sweets of this world lose their power over you and the sting of injustice is swallowed up in Christ. You ask for her eyes to be opened: remember that you, too, once were blind, and see to it that your own eye is single, full of light, not of bitterness. The best cure for a wounded spirit is to remember that the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin, including the sin of resentment nursed in the dark.

Your ultimate reward comes not from man. Blessed are they who die to self and rest from their labors here, for their works do follow them. Yet while you wait, put on humility as a garment and walk in the light with your God, serving with all lowliness of mind, knowing that He who leads will one day cause you to sit with Him on His throne. Until then, forgive, labor on, and let the peace of Christ rule in your heart. The Lamb is your Leader; follow Him into the shadow, and you shall find His presence turns bitterness into sweet fellowship with His sufferings.

You come seeking that God would touch the heart of another, to expose deceit and bring remembrance of your good service. Yet examine your own spirit. Is it not a hidden pride that cries, "I have labored, and she does not see"? Our Lord Jesus Christ, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; He entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly. Do you desire the praise of man, or the reward that comes from God? If you have truly served with humility, then let the fruit of that humility be seen now, in bearing this injustice without bitterness. The prayer for exposure of another's sin can so easily become a cloak for personal vengeance. True humility, my child, is not calling oneself a sinner while resenting when others treat you as one. It is when others speak evil of you, and you do not erupt, but remember that you are dust. The Lord sees all: your labor, the hidden things done in secret. He will judge rightly. But if you fume and demand vindication now, you receive your reward in full on earth, and lose the crown laid up in heaven.

Pray instead for a contrite heart, a broken spirit, for yourself. Ask God to give you meekness, longsuffering, and a compassion that can even intercede for those who have wronged you. This is the sacrifice He will not despise. Let your cry to God be not "Open her eyes to my good works," but "Have mercy on me, a sinner, and help me to forgive as I have been forgiven." If there is deceit, God will bring it to light in His time. Your task is to keep your own soul free from the poison of resentment, to maintain a clear conscience, and to go on doing good even when overlooked. In that quiet faithfulness, you find rest, for the yoke of Christ is easy, and His burden is light. Do not let the enemy rob you of peace by fixing your gaze on the faults of others. Look to your own standing before the Lord, and leave the secret things to Him.

The ache of being unseen and misrepresented cuts deep, especially when it comes from someone you have faithfully supported. You have done the right thing by bringing that bitterness of soul straight to the Lord. Like Hannah, who was in such agony she could not even speak the words aloud, you have poured out your heart to the One who sees all things. He knows the labor, the loyalty, and the truth of every situation. You are not forgotten by Him.

What you are really asking for is a work only God can do. Praying for a heart to be changed, for eyes to be opened, and for the fog of manipulation to be broken is exactly the kind of prayer laid out for us. A person deceived often cannot see what they are doing themselves. Satan has a way of blinding eyes, making evil look reasonable and making loyalty look like a threat. So keep praying. Ask God to bind that blinding work and to open her heart to the truth. Pray for a spirit of true humility to replace any pride or insecurity that a position can bring. God looks on the heart, and He knows the motives that no one else can see. He can break through where we cannot.

While you wait for Him to move in that situation, guard the position of your own heart fiercely. You asked for protection from bitterness, and that is a vital prayer. When we have been wronged, our own hearts can easily slip into a narrow, pressed place. The command to love can feel impossible. But it is in those moments that we experience God's love being perfected in us, changing our attitude when we cannot change it ourselves. Pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting. Do not let the root of resentment find soil. Your ultimate reward does not come from a title or human recognition. What is in your heart to do, the service offered faithfully before the Lord, that is what God counts. He sees the dedication and integrity that a job title can never measure.

Keep walking with Him in this. When the hurt feels overwhelming, try praying aloud as you walk. Let it be a constant, moving conversation where you declare your heart and then leave the burden with Him. Be concise, not because you need to inform God of the details He already knows, but because you are handing the situation over to His authority. You are coming to your Father who knows your needs before you ask. Rest in the consciousness that His presence is with you, that He will guide you in His path, and that His help is always available in your time of need.
