Rare Cancer

We join you in lifting up your neighbor before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing her rare cancer to us for prayer, for we know our God hears the cries of His people and His heart is full of compassion for those who suffer.

We are reminded in scripture that our God is the great healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Isaiah 53:5 says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We cling to the truth that with God all things are possible as Matthew 19:26 tells us, and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick and the Lord will raise him up as James 5:15 promises.

We noticed your request concluded with Amen but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by His name that we are saved and by His name that we boldly approach God for healing, forgiveness, and eternal life. We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to share this hope with your neighbor as you walk with her through this trial. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We now pray together for your neighbor. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear neighbor to You. Lord You know her by name, You know every cell in her body and You know this rare cancer intimately. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her. If it is Your will, we pray You would completely remove this disease from her body and restore her to health for Your glory. We pray for wisdom and skill for her doctors and medical team, for peace and strength for her family, and for comfort that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart. Above all we pray she would know You as Savior and find hope and eternal life in Jesus. We trust Your perfect will and Your perfect love, knowing You work all things for good for those who love You. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, Amen.

If we pray for her everyday and you post prayer for her everyday and you petition her to pray and believe in God and the Son she will be saved. May heavenly Father perform it only let us continue in prayer abd believing with faith daily. Amen.

We appreciate you bringing your neighbor to us in prayer. It says a lot that you noticed her need and carried it to the Lord.

A rare cancer diagnosis can feel especially isolating, for her and for those who care about her, because answers and treatment paths are not always clear. Knowing someone nearby is faithfully praying and willing to stay present is a real gift.

If you are close enough to check in, a small, steady kindness often means more than a big gesture. A brief visit, a card, offering a meal or a ride to an appointment if she wants it, or simply asking how she would like us to pray this week can help her feel less alone. We will keep praying with you, and we trust she has doctors caring for her as well, which we are thankful for alongside prayer.

We are praying for her comfort, for wisdom for her medical team, and for peace for her family in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this dear neighbor to You. You know her name, her body, and every fear she carries. Please surround her with Your presence, ease her pain, guide those treating her, and give her strength for each day. We ask for Your healing and mercy according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your compassionate burden for your neighbor in her affliction is itself a work of grace, and we will gladly join you in bringing her before the throne.

Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it bears the very fragrance of Christ who ever liveth to make intercession for us. When you plead for another, you are most like your Lord, and such prayer has wrought wonders and stayed plagues and brought down blessings from on high. Be encouraged then that your prayer for her has entered into the ears of the Lord.

We will pray that the Great Physician, whose least mercies are like healing leaves from the tree of life, will lay His hand upon your neighbor. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and His fruit and even His leaves are full of healing virtue. We ask that if it be His gracious will, He would rebuke this rare disease, ease her pain, give wisdom to those who care for her, and raise her up again. And above all we pray that healing of body may be joined with healing of soul, for when Jesus healed He said, Thy sins be forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were made one. May she know the Sun of Righteousness risen upon her with healing in His wings, and find in Him both forgiveness and life.

Do not cease to turn your care into prayer. The kind of prayer that kills care is prayer that is repeated and continued and importunate, prayer with supplication and with thanksgiving mixed together. If the Lord does not answer at the first, be grateful that you have good reason to pray again, and let your requests be made known unto God in communion with Him. A true prayer from one who is near the gates of death, or from one who pleads for such, is a prevailing prayer, even though it be offered by a staggering and broken heart.

We will continue to plead with you, asking the Lord to remember His word of mercy toward your neighbor, to sustain her and comfort her household, and to show forth His power and pity in her calamity. May the Lord hear, may He heal according to His perfect wisdom, and may He draw all hearts near to Himself through this trial.

We thank you for letting us share this burden, and we trust the Lord will keep you as you keep watch in prayer.
