We join with you in prayer for you and your family and for all those unspoken requests that you carry in your heart and those of others you love. We are thankful you brought everything before the Lord in Jesus name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father.

We are reminded of His promise of protection and care. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:2 says I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. He knows every unspoken need even before we speak it, and Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:7 says And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We lift you up together now in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we thank You for this family and for their love for one another and for You. We bring every unspoken request before Your throne, knowing You see and know each one perfectly. We ask for Your hand of protection over them and over all who will be in the path of this storm and hurricane. Command the winds and the waters according to Your will and keep all people safe from harm. We pray for those who will be affected, that You would provide shelter, provision and peace. We ask that You would calm the hurried pace of life for this family and give them rest, as You have promised in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We thank You for the gift of marriage and we pray Your blessing upon this husband and wife, that You would grant them long life together in Your grace to raise their children and serve You, and that when the time comes You would find them ready to go home to heaven. Psalm 91:16 says I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation. We pray Your hand upon their precious babies, for Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. Keep them close to You and to their parents all their days and draw each heart to know You. We ask for Your favor over every appointment for this dear one and for the babies, that all would go well with no problems, and that You would grant health and wholeness, for Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Help all things that need to be accomplished to be done in Your timing and order. And Father, for the breakthroughs and answered prayers that have been waited for so long, we trust in Your perfect timing, for Isaiah 41:10 says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Let Your will be done and let Your peace reign in every heart while we wait. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast every care upon Him and to rest in His shelter during this storm and in every season. He is faithful to keep His own and to hear the cries of His children even when the words are unspoken. We pray that you will feel His peace that surpasses understanding guarding your hearts, that life will have moments of holy slowness to enjoy the gifts of marriage and family He has given, and that you will see His hand in each appointment and in the breakthroughs you have long awaited. Keep seeking Him together as a family, teaching your babies His ways, and trusting that whether He grants long life on this earth or calls us home, to be with Him is our greatest hope.

We have been thinking of you and your family since reading your note. There is so much on your heart at once, wanting protection through the storm, wanting a long and quiet life together with your spouse and your babies close, carrying unspoken burdens for yourself and others, waiting on appointments and on answers you have prayed about for a long time. It makes sense that things feel heavy and hurried right now.

We are praying for God's covering over you, your household, and everyone in the path of this hurricane, and for wisdom for those making decisions to keep people safe. We are also praying for steadiness in your home as you wait.

One small thing that often helps when everything feels urgent is to get it out of your head and onto paper together. Sitting with your spouse for a few minutes to list the appointments, what each one needs, and what you still need to do to be ready for the storm can make the next steps clearer and help you support each other instead of carrying it alone. Keep following the guidance of local officials and your care providers as you prepare.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus name. Cover them and their neighbors through the storm, give them peace as they wait, be with them in each appointment and let all go well according to Your mercy, hear their unspoken requests and the long waited prayers, and keep them close to You and to each other all their days. Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

We thank you for entrusting to us your unspoken requests as well as those of your family and others upon your heart. There is a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious, and there is a waiting people who wait upon Him in hope. The Lord knows the burdens you have not uttered and He hears the sighs which words cannot express. We pray that you will be enabled to wait upon Him patiently, as a servant waits upon his lord and as a traveler waits upon his guide, trusting His wisdom for the timing of every breakthrough and every answered prayer for which you have long waited.

We pray for protection for you and your household and for all who lie in the path of the storm and hurricane. We wait only upon God for protection in times of danger, for He is a shield in battle and a very present help in time of need. We ask that He who commands the winds and the waves would in His mercy restrain the tempest, keep you and your loved ones safe, and show compassion to all who will be affected. May those who walk in His appointed ways know His perpetual and personal keeping, for He gives His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways.

We pray with thanksgiving for your marriage and your children. We ask the Lord to grant that you and your spouse may walk together in faithful love according to His covenant design for marriage as a lifelong union of one man and one woman, and that your home may be ordered in His grace. We ask that He would grant you long life together in His kindness, that your children may remain near in love and in the Lord, and above all that each of you may be made ready for that home above when He shall call you. We pray that your family, like Noah and his household, may be found together in the ark of Christ, saved by His blood and kept by His promise.

We also bring before the Lord your daily cares, that things may be ordered with peace rather than haste, that you may have strength to accomplish what He has given you to do, and that every appointment for you and your little ones may be met with mercy and without trouble. Waiting upon the Lord renews strength and breeds peace within the soul, and it makes the trials of this present time seem small in light of His greatness. May He grant you that quiet confidence which comes from trusting His hand to steer your course through the whole voyage of life.

We pray that the Lord would in His perfect time grant the breakthrough you seek, not according to our haste but according to His faithful love, and that your faith may be strengthened as you continue to knock at mercy's door and watch until the answer comes. What He has promised and prepared He will surely give to waiting souls when it will be best for them to receive it.

May the Lord keep you, establish your household in His truth, and cause all things to work together for your good and His glory. We commend you and your family to His gracious care, praying all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
