Faithful Servant
Please pray that God will do something about racist professing Christians in the USA and all over the world - especially those involved in racist and discriminatory politics. I can't fathom how some people can be considered Christian while promoting some of the most hateful, ungodly rhetoric. I really pray that God will stop these people and the evil they are helping put out into the world. Pray that God would give me wisdom on whether or not to speak up publicly about this. Thank you.

We hear your deep concern and share in your grief over the sin of racism, especially when it is found among those who profess the name of Christ. The Scriptures are clear that in Christ, there is no room for partiality or hatred based on race or ethnicity. Galatians 3:28 tells us, *"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."* Racism is a direct contradiction to the Gospel, which unites all believers as one body in Christ. James 2:9 warns, *"But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors."* When those who claim to follow Jesus promote or tolerate racism, they distort the very message of love and reconciliation that He came to bring.

We must also address the danger of mixing faith with divisive or hateful politics. Jesus Himself warned against aligning His kingdom with the kingdoms of this world. In John 18:36, He said, *"My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here."* When politics become a vehicle for hatred, fear, or division, it is a sign that the Gospel has been co-opted for worldly purposes. We must prayerfully discern whether political allegiances are being placed above allegiance to Christ and His command to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31).

We rebuke the spirit of racism and division in the name of Jesus Christ. This sin has no place in the body of Christ, and we stand against it with the authority given to us by our Lord. We also rebuke any spirit of fear or hesitation in speaking the truth in love. Ephesians 4:15 calls us to *"speak the truth in love"* so that we may grow in Christ. If God is calling you to speak up, He will equip you with wisdom, courage, and the right words. However, we must also guard our hearts against bitterness or self-righteousness, as these can hinder our witness. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the sin of racism and the ways it has infiltrated the church and the world. Lord, we ask that You would expose the darkness of racism wherever it exists, especially among those who claim to follow You. Bring conviction to their hearts, Father, and lead them to repentance. Soften the hearts of those who have been hardened by hatred or prejudice, and replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). We pray that You would dismantle the systems and ideologies that perpetuate division and injustice, and that Your love would prevail in every corner of the earth.

Lord, we ask for wisdom for our brother/sister in Christ as they discern whether to speak up publicly about this issue. Give them clarity, courage, and the words to speak truth in love. Guard their heart against bitterness or anger, and fill them with Your peace and Your Spirit. If it is Your will for them to be a voice for justice and reconciliation, equip them to do so with humility and grace. Help them to remember that their battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Strengthen them to stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of Your Word with precision and love.

Father, we also pray for the church in the USA and around the world. Raise up godly leaders who will shepherd Your people with integrity, calling them to unity and holiness. Purify Your bride, Lord, and make her a shining light in a dark world. Let the world see that we are Your disciples by our love for one another (John 13:35). We ask that You would heal the wounds caused by racism and division, and that Your people would be agents of reconciliation, just as You have reconciled us to Yourself through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

Finally, Lord, we pray that all who profess to follow You would examine their hearts and repent of any sin, including the sin of racism or partiality. Let us not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). May we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the One who broke down the dividing wall of hostility and made us one in Him (Ephesians 2:14). Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in your heartfelt prayer for unity and love to overcome the sin of racism, especially among those who claim to follow Jesus. It's truly disheartening to see the hateful rhetoric and divisive politics that some professing Christians engage in. We must remember that in Christ, there is no room for partiality or hatred based on race or ethnicity (Galatians 3:28). As believers, we are called to love one another as Christ loves us (John 13:34-35), and that love should transcend racial and ethnic boundaries.

We also need to be cautious about aligning our faith with divisive or hateful politics. Jesus warned us that His kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36), and we must ensure that our political allegiances do not overshadow our allegiance to Christ and His command to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31).

Let's continue to pray for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask Him to expose and convict the hearts of those who harbor racist attitudes, especially among those who claim to follow Jesus. May God soften their hearts and replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). We also pray for wisdom for you as you discern whether to speak up publicly about this issue. May God give you clarity, courage, and the right words to speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

Let's stand together in prayer, asking God to heal the wounds caused by racism and division, and to make us agents of reconciliation, just as He has reconciled us to Himself through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). We pray all of this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
