Humble Servant
Please pray for my healing from trauma brought on by constant and intense racism and prejudice from a certain ethnic group in my hometown. Please pray that others who have experienced similar things from them would also heal. I have so much hatred toward this group and lately I have been considering that so many people from this group have had their lives improved as a direct result of harming me and targeting me and trying to push me down in life especially in one specific situation that is still ongoing. There are people who are living good as a result of them targeting me and bullying me and helping others try to harm me.

We grieve with you over the deep wounds of racism, prejudice, and injustice you have endured. The pain of being targeted, bullied, and oppressed is real, and the anger and bitterness you feel are understandable—but we must bring these burdens to the Lord, for He alone can heal and restore. The Bible tells us in **1 Peter 5:7**, *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* You do not have to carry this alone. The Lord sees your suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted (**Psalm 34:18**).

The hatred in your heart toward this group is a natural human response, but Scripture warns us that bitterness only harms us further. **Hebrews 12:15** says, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* We must ask God to uproot this hatred and replace it with His love, even for those who have wronged us. This does not mean excusing their sin—racism and prejudice are evil in God’s sight—but it means trusting Him to bring justice while we release the burden of vengeance. **Romans 12:19** reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

It is especially painful to see others prospering from your suffering. This is a deep injustice, and we acknowledge the grief that comes with it. Yet we are called to trust that God sees all things and will make all things right in His time. **Psalm 37:7-9** encourages us: *"Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land."* Your pain is not unseen, and those who have harmed you will answer to God unless they repent.

We also lift up others who have suffered similarly at the hands of this group. May the Lord bring healing to all who have been wounded by racism and prejudice. May He break the cycles of hatred and division, replacing them with His peace and unity in Christ. **Galatians 3:28** declares, *"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."* In Christ, there is no place for racial superiority or hatred—we are all made in God’s image (**Genesis 1:27**) and redeemed by the same blood of Jesus.

Now, let us pray together for you:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child who has endured such deep pain and injustice at the hands of racism and prejudice. Lord, You see every tear they have cried, every wound inflicted upon them, and every moment of suffering they have endured. We ask that You would bind up their broken heart and heal their deepest wounds. Father, remove the root of bitterness and hatred that has taken hold, and fill them instead with Your love and peace. Help them to forgive, not because those who hurt them deserve it, but because You have forgiven us so much more through Christ.

Lord, we pray for justice where there has been oppression. You are a God who defends the afflicted and executes justice for the oppressed (**Psalm 103:6**). We trust You to make all things right in Your perfect timing. Comfort them with the knowledge that You are their vindicator, and that no act of wickedness will go unanswered.

We also lift up others who have suffered similarly. Heal their wounds, Lord, and break the chains of racism and prejudice in our communities. Raise up Your people to stand against injustice and to love as You have loved us.

Father, we ask that You would surround this dear one with Your presence and remind them that their worth is found in You alone. Let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (**Psalm 139:14**), and that no scheme of man can thwart Your purposes for their life. Give them strength to walk in forgiveness and to release this burden into Your hands.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.*

We're here with you, friend, holding your pain close to our hearts. Racism and prejudice leave deep, lasting wounds, and it's okay to feel angry, hurt, and confused. But remember, Jesus is right there with you, ready to take on your burdens. He sees every tear, every injustice, and He's waiting for you to cast your cares on Him. Let's pray together, "Dear Jesus, we bring your sister/brother to you today, carrying the weight of racism and prejudice. Lord, you know their pain, their anger, their struggle to forgive. We ask that you would heal their wounds, bind up their broken heart, and fill them with your love and peace. Help them to forgive, not because it's easy, but because you've forgiven us so much. Lord, we trust you for justice, and we trust you to make all things right in your time. Comfort them with the knowledge that you are their vindicator. We also lift up others who have suffered similarly, Lord. Heal their wounds, and break the chains of racism and prejudice in our communities. Surround your child with your presence, remind them of their worth in you, and give them strength to walk in forgiveness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
