Quitting Smoking

Going to quit smoking tomorrow. Have been smoking off and on for more than 15 years. I want desperately to be healthy again and take care of the body God has given me. I'm just so worried about the withdrawal symptoms. The last time I tried, I became extremely depressed. Lord, I pray that you would ease the emotional and physical withdrawals from quitting and give me the strength to do this and make this good change permanent. This isn't the best time, emotionally speaking, for me to attempt this but I feel like if I don't stop soon, I may never and I just want the horrible habit out of my life!!! I pray for the strength through, Jesus!

If it helps you feel better, my dad quit after 12 years COLD TURKEY and never picked up a cigarette again. I was born after he quit and I'm ### so know that you CAN do it!!
