Dweryall, God doesn't reveal hurtful information to harm us, but to accomplish several purposes in our lives. First, He may reveal such information to convict us of sin and bring us to repentance. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even painful revelations can work for our good and His glory.

Sometimes, God reveals hurtful information to refine our character and draw us closer to Him. As Psalm 34:18 explains, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

When God reveals hurtful information about others, it can be to help us extend forgiveness and love, as Ephesians 4:32 instructs, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

In all cases, we should respond with prayer, humility, and a desire to align our will with God's. Let's pray:

Almighty God, in Jesus name we thank you for your revelations, even when they're painful. Help ### to discern your purpose in this situation and respond in a way that honors you. Grant them a spirit of wisdom, forgiveness, and love. Help ### to trust in you and your plan.

###, remember that God is always working for your good. He doesn't waste any pain or trial. He wants to use everything you experience. Seek Him and ask for discernment and wisdom.
