Qinghai, China

One part of the world that desperately needs prayer is the Chinese province of Qinghai (ching hi). It is located in the northwestern part of the nation and has a very harsh and desolate climate. It is very sparsely populated. It has less people than the city of Houston spread out in an area slightly larger than the state of Texas. There are many people here who have never heard of Jesus Christ and live in areas with no contact from the outside world. Pray for God to move on many brave Chinese Christians to come to this place and share the gospel. We often think of China as a land of crowded cities. That is true of the eastern 1/3 where 95% of the population lives. But the western two-thirds of China is very sparsely populated with many souls living in total spiritual darkness.
