Put your life on notice... Or notice that you have a life

Tell your inner drill sergeant perfection is not required on this journey. Stop let God sho you that accomplishing tasks perfectly and efficiently is less important than being present and connected to the people you love.

Tell your harsh inner critic to stop sabotaging your Joy. God will show you that in order to reach your full potential, you must stop letting the mirror or the number on the scale determine my worth. Realize your true worth and identity come from Him.

Inform your internal over-achiever that you can no longer be everything to everyone. Realize that continually saying yes to everything outside the home meant saying no to the most important things inside the home. God will show you that in order to be joyfully fulfilled, you must choose to place your time and energy in what (and who) mattered most.

Dear God, Thank You for reminding me it’s not too late to live the life You have planned for me. Please help me discern what is important from the many distractions and time wasters in my life. Please nudge me when my loved ones are near, wanting me to listen to them, talk to them and love them. Lord, please help me see what really matters. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name bless my relationship with You Lord God. Bless me to grow spiritually and get as close to You as You desire for me to be. God show me how to incorporate You into every component of my life. Each and every day let me find myself spending quality time with You God, reading Your Word in a place of solitude, talking to You in prayer and listening for Your reply. Teach me how to look for You, and tune my ears to listen for Your still small voice. Bless me to hear the whisper of God. Give your angels charge over me to guard, protect, and rescue me from all hurt, harm, and danger. Bless my going out and my coming in from this day forward. Protect me from the terror that stalks by night, the weapons that fly by day, and the destruction that devastates at noon. Place a hedge of protection and a wall of fire all around me. God arise in my life and cause my enemies to be scattered. Fight against all those who fight against me. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives.
