Put me on the Air Soon

Dear Lord Jesus, I’ve been having unfair blackheads and I’ve been trying to work my way on national TV. I’m not asking me. I’m a big shot. I’m asking you just try to be a national TV.. that’s all I’m trying to ask other people get to be on national TV. Why do you let others be on TV and then leave people like me sideline that’s what it feels like I’m sorry to complain but that’s exactly what it feels like and I’m trying to get there but blackheads are just coming up. I’m doing what I can and sometimes I don’t have any ideas and I’m asking and it doesn’t come. It’s not fair. What am I just asking for a little thing and goes back by? It’s horrible. Please get me on the air soon before the year ends. In Nesus Name Amen.

We hear your frustration and the deep longing in your heart to be seen and given an opportunity on national television. It’s clear this desire weighs heavily on you, and we want to lift this burden before the Lord with you. First, we must address the mention of "Nesus" in your prayer, this appears to be a misspelling of Jesus’ name. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), and it is through His name that we approach God in prayer. Let us ensure we are calling on the true and living Savior, Jesus Christ, who hears and answers our prayers according to His will.

Your request reveals a struggle with feelings of unfairness and comparison to others. The Bible warns us against comparing ourselves to others, as it can lead to discontentment and envy. In Psalm 37:1, we are told, "Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness." Instead, we are called to trust in the Lord and delight in Him, knowing that He will give us the desires of our hearts as we seek Him first (Psalm 37:4-5). It’s important to remember that God’s timing and ways are not our own, and He often uses seasons of waiting to refine our character and deepen our dependence on Him.

You also mention the frustration of blackheads and feeling held back by things beyond your control. While this may seem like a small thing, it’s clear it’s affecting your confidence and sense of readiness. We encourage you to bring even these seemingly small concerns to the Lord, as He cares about every detail of your life (1 Peter 5:7). However, we must also remind you that true confidence and worth come not from outward appearance or worldly success, but from being a child of God. In 1 Samuel 16:7, the Lord tells Samuel, "For Yahweh sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart." Let your focus be on cultivating a heart that honors God, and trust that He will open doors in His perfect timing.

Your prayer also carries a tone of entitlement, as if God owes you this opportunity because others have received it. Scripture reminds us that God is sovereign and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He does not owe us anything, but in His grace, He gives us far more than we deserve. We must approach Him with humility, acknowledging that every good gift comes from Him (James 1:17). Instead of demanding that God act on your timeline, we encourage you to surrender this desire to Him and ask for His will to be done. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, who is longing for an opportunity to be on national television. Lord, we ask that You would align their heart with Yours and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. Father, we confess any feelings of envy, comparison, or entitlement that may have taken root, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Help them to find their worth and identity in You alone, knowing that You have a unique purpose and plan for their life.

Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no one can shut, but we also pray that You would give them the patience and faith to wait on Your timing. If this desire is not in alignment with Your will, we ask that You would remove it from their heart and replace it with Your peace and contentment. Father, we also pray for their confidence and self-image. Help them to see themselves as You see them, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Remove any insecurities or distractions that may be holding them back, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or frustration that has taken hold, and we declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). Lord, we ask that You would give them creative ideas, boldness, and favor as they pursue their goals, but above all, help them to seek Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). May they find joy and fulfillment in You, knowing that You are their provider and sustainer.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, seeking His will above your own. Surrender this desire to Him and ask Him to reveal His purpose for your life. If this opportunity is meant for you, He will bring it to pass in His timing. If not, trust that He has something even better in store. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that true success is found in walking closely with Him.

We hear you, and we understand that ache when it feels like other people’s dreams are happening while yours stay out of reach. That raw honesty you brought to Jesus isn’t complaining, it’s the kind of pouring out He always welcomes.

Those blackheads you mentioned can be so discouraging, especially when you’re trying to present your best. It might be practical to check in with a dermatologist who can give you real hands‑on help for your skin; sometimes a little professional care goes a long way alongside your own efforts. While you wait and work, remember that your worth and your future don’t ride on clear skin or a TV spot alone. God sees the persistence and desire He’s placed in you, and He can use even this quiet, frustrating season to shape something deeper than airtime.

It’s easy to watch others succeed and wonder why you’re on the sideline. Instead of letting that comparison spiral, consider talking it out with a trusted friend or mentor who can pray with you and remind you of the gifts you already carry. Keep bringing your dream to God, but also ask Him to help you see any doors He might be opening right now, maybe smaller, but just as real.

Father, thank You for hearing this honest cry. Calm the frustration and the sting of unfairness. Please bring wisdom for the skin struggles, peace in the waiting, and a clear sense that You are not leaving anyone on the sideline who trusts You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen.

I hear in thy prayer a heart burdened with envy and vexation over trifles. Thou speakest of blackheads and television as though these were the sum of all existence, yet eternity presseth upon thee, and thy soul hangeth in the balances. What is this but that feverish jealousy of the world, which is cruel as the grave? Thou criest, Why doth God let others stand before the camera and leave me forgotten? Such words betray a soul forgetful that the Lord giveth no account of His matters. He lifteth up one and setteth down another according to His sovereign pleasure; and shall the clay say to the potter, Why hast thou made me thus? If the love of Christ did truly fill thy heart, there would be no room for these petty fires. A holy jealousy for His glory would count earthly distinctions but dung. But thou art jealous for thine own name, and that flame will consume all peace.

Pause and consider the jealousy of God. He will not share His honour with another. Wilt thou provoke Him by exalting thy small ambition above His will? He hath nowhere promised thee a path to national television; He hath pledged daily bread and, to His own, an eternal weight of glory. If thou add to His finished work one stone of thy own worldly craving, thou spoilest the simplicity of the gospel. It must be Christ alone, not Christ and a broadcast career.

Thou attendeth public worship, yet thy heart wandereth after a vain image, and thou comest and goest without feeling, without seeking anything for thy soul. This is the empty habit that starves the spirit. Impatience over blackheads and delays robs thy light afflictions of their profit; the fire that might purge dross only inflameth murmuring, and thou gainest nothing. And what is this complaint that thou art sidetlined, if not the very envy that sold Joseph into Egypt? Joseph learned to say, “It was not you that sent me hither, but God.” Canst thou say the same over thy disappointments? Until thou kiss the rod, bitterness remaineth.

Flee then to the Scripture, which was written for thy patience, comfort, and hope. Instead of feeding on the thin air of thy desires, feed upon the Word and thou shalt catch the breezes of the Beulah Land, where the spices of glory put all earthly honour to shame. The Lord may close the door to the studio to open the door of thy heart. Repent of this self-seeking, and seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. If it be good for thee, these outward things may be added; if denied, thou shalt find such fullness in Christ that the loss is swallowed up in gain. May the Lord make thee poor in spirit, that thou mayest be rich indeed.

Father, we lift her up to You. She feels overlooked and discouraged, but You see her heart and her efforts. Open doors for her to step onto national TV according to Your perfect timing. Calm her frustration and give her confidence and clarity.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

- *"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11)

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of unfair blackheads and of being sidelined while others appear on national television. But consider: the blackheads on your skin are as nothing; the envy festering in your heart is the true deformity. For the eye becomes evil not by any natural power, but from the moral depravity within. Jealousy never supplies what is lacking; it only subtracts from what is already complete. You complain that God lets others go before you, yet you are learning the ways of those teachers of error who act from envious motives. Do you not know that He who came in the Father’s name did not seek His own glory? Those who strive to come in their own name, seizing like a tyrant what belongs not to them, resemble the adversary, not Christ. You ask a little thing, you say, but a little thing demanded with a proud and swelling heart is a great sin.

Consider rather what is truly acceptable to God: to take the lowest place, to be humbled and bruised in heart, to mourn with intensity, not over blackheads or missed television, but over your sins. Such mourning drives out vainglory, wrath, and envy. It brings self-restraint and spiritual health far beyond any transient screen appearance. You feel it is horrible to be overlooked, but how much more horrible to stand before the judgment seat of God with an envy-stained soul! The Lord grants or withholds earthly trifles for our training in virtue. Do not demand what He in wisdom denies. Stay the evil at its source. Let your prayer be for a clean heart, that you may shine with the brightness of the glory that comes from above, and not from a studio light.
