Beloved of All
🙌 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us while we were sinners Christ died for us, Rom 5:8. Help us in our freely receiving of that same love, Rom 5:5, pursuing Your love, and freely and earnestly desiring its expression through spiritual gifts, acts of kindness to believers, unbelievers, friends, family members, even "enemies" (though I ask you convert everyone -- I honestly have no "enemies" but will they'd all be saved, 1 Tim 2:4, all find Your love, grace, forgiveness and empowering times of refreshing that stem from believing in Messiah and repentance and remission of sins and freedom from eternal condemnation, Luke 24:46-47, Acts 3:19-20, 2 Cor 7:10-11, 2 Peter 3:9. We especially desire love for and the edification of Christ's beloved church, 1 Cor 14:1-4. We ask let Your love abound in us in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we thank You we can pursue love, pray in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

"FILL US with the knowledge of Your Will, in ALL spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner WORTHY of You, LORD, pleasing You in EVERY way, bearing fruit in EVERY good work, growing by INCREASING in the knowledge of God; STRENGTHENED with ALL POWER, by The MIGHT of YOUR GLORY, to ATTAIN ALL STEADFASTNESS and PATIENCE; JOYOUSLY giving THANKS to YOU, who QUALIFIED US to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, deception, Mt 24:4, evil people and imposters proceeding from bad to worse in these last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these as well, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest desire to walk in love, wisdom, and alignment with God’s will. Your prayer reflects a deep longing to pursue the highest calling, Christlike love that abounds in knowledge and discernment, a life that bears the fruit of righteousness, and a steadfast walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. We join with you in these petitions, lifting them up together in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we thank You for the love You demonstrated toward us while we were yet sinners, that Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). This love is not merely an emotion but the very foundation of our faith and the standard by which we are called to live. We ask that You fill us afresh with this love, that it would overflow from our hearts into every interaction, with believers, unbelievers, family, friends, and even those who may oppose us. Let us not merely speak of love but embody it in truth and action, as Your Word commands: "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good" (Romans 12:9). May our love be sincere, blameless, and without offense to the Gospel, that we may reflect Your perfect nature to a watching world.

We echo your prayer for love to abound in all knowledge and discernment, that we may approve the things that are excellent and walk in a manner worthy of the Lord (Philippians 1:9-11). Father, grant us wisdom to distinguish between Your will and the deceptive allure of the world. Renew our minds daily, that we may test and approve what is good, acceptable, and perfect in Your sight (Romans 12:2). Let us not be swayed by cultural trends or the shifting standards of man but stand firm on the unchanging truth of Your Word.

Your request to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding resonates deeply with us. We pray, as Paul did for the Colossians, that You would strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-12). May we not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Let our lives be a living testimony of Your grace, that others may see our good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

We also lift up your plea for protection from temptation, sin, deception, and the schemes of the evil one. Father, we know that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we take refuge in Your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Deliver us from evil, guard our hearts and minds with Your peace, and surround us with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). Let us not be deceived by those who claim to know You but deny You by their deeds (Titus 1:16). Instead, equip us to discern truth from error and to stand firm in the faith, even in these last days when deception abounds.

We are grateful for your acknowledgment of the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the power of His name. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). May we never take for granted the privilege of coming boldly to Your throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Let us always pray in the name of Jesus, for He has assured us that whatever we ask in His name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14).

Father, we also lift up the Church, the bride of Christ, for whom You gave Yourself up, that You might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word (Ephesians 5:25-26). May Your love abound among us, that we may edify one another in faith, spur one another on to love and good deeds, and build each other up in the most holy faith (1 Thessalonians 5:11, Jude 1:20). Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, but encourage one another all the more as we see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25).

We pray for those who do not yet know You, that their hearts would be softened to receive the Gospel. You desire all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Open their eyes, Lord, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Christ (Acts 26:18). Use us as vessels of Your love and truth, that we may share the hope that is within us with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).

Finally, we ask that You would fill us with joy and thanksgiving as we await the inheritance You have prepared for us, the saints in light (Colossians 1:12). May we walk in a manner worthy of our calling, with all humility, gentleness, patience, and love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:1-3). Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, to whom be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. It is clear your heart is already deep in the pursuit of love, discernment, and wisdom, the very things you ask of the Father. That longing itself is evidence that the Spirit is at work, conforming you to Christ’s image. We want to stand with you in that, not by adding more words to an already full prayer, but by naming something we see: the growth you’re asking for often comes gradually, almost imperceptibly, as you stay rooted in the Word, prayer, and the daily rhythms of worship you already practice. There is no one-size-fits-all path, but your steady desire to “attain all steadfastness” and “joyously give thanks” is exactly the training ground where God forms mature love and piercing discernment in His people.

If there is a next step it might simply be this: choose one phrase from your own prayer, something like “love abounds in all knowledge and discernment” or “strengthened with all power according to the might of Your glory”, and carry it with you quietly through today. Ask the Holy Spirit to make that reality concrete in one conversation, one choice, one moment of listening. Growth is less about a single event and more about small increments of faithfulness, and we see that faithfulness in you.

We pray with you now. Father, thank You for this dear one’s hunger for love and wisdom. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will, not as a distant concept, but as a lived reality that shapes their steps. Calm any striving; let them rest in the truth that You who began a good work will bring it to completion. Make love sincere, discernment sharp, and endurance joyful, all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What a holy ambition stirs within this request, a sacred hunger for love that abounds in true knowledge, for a walk that pleases God in every way! Yet let us be sure we understand the wellspring from which all such longings flow. It is not our will that initiates this pursuit, but the sovereign grace of God working within us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. The love you desire to pursue is not first your reaching toward heaven, but heaven stooping down to you. God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. There is the fountain. There the starting point. Never imagine that your pursuit of love adds anything to the finished work of Calvary. Rather, it is the echo of that love already shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost.

You ask for discernment to choose the highest, to approve the things most excellent. A right and noble cry. But consider this: the highest choice is often the most hidden. It is not found in straining after some extraordinary revelation, but in yielding utterly to the will of God in the present moment. The path of wisdom is not a secret map unfolded only to a few, but the plain road of obedience to the Word already given. The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom. To depart from evil, that is understanding. All true knowledge of God begins with a heart that trembles at His Word. It is not the soaring speculations of the mind, but the humble submission of the will that marks a child of light. Your prayer for keen discernment must be married to a readiness to walk in the lowest valley if Christ bids you come. He leads His sheep; they hear His voice and follow. Not always to green pastures and still waters, for some of the ripest saints have learned their sweetest songs in the wilderness.

You plead to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, to be strengthened with all power for steadfastness and patience with joy. Here is a request after God’s own heart, and it shall be granted to the soul that waits upon Him. But mark well where this strength lies. It is not a reservoir within you, but a daily drawing from the Fountain. The power is according to the might of His glory, not according to the vigor of your feelings. Many seek a stock of grace in hand, as if they could hoard enough for tomorrow’s battle. God would have us live by the day, trusting His manna fresh each morning. Steadfastness is not the absence of tribulation, but the perseverance of faith in the midst of it. And joy, ah, this joy, is not the froth of a light spirit, but the deep, settled delight of a soul anchored in Christ. It gives thanks not only when the cup is full, but when the cross is heavy. It sees the Father’s hand in all, and believes that the discipline of sorrow is the tutor to glory.

You ask for practical wisdom, for the Spirit’s leading in paths of righteousness. This is well. The Holy Ghost guides by the Word and by the gentle constraints of providence. Do not think His leading will always be an ecstasy of revelation. More often it is the still small voice of a Scripture impressed upon the mind, the checked impulse, the opened door, the closed gate. Wait upon Him, and He will direct your steps, though it be one slow footfall at a time. He who has qualified you for the inheritance of the saints in light will not leave you to wander in darkness.

As for deliverance from evil and the evil one, remember that your safety lies not in your own carefulness, but in the intercession of the Great High Priest. He prayed not that His own should be taken out of the world, but kept from the evil. And He is heard always. The peace of God that passeth understanding will garrison your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. That peace is not dependent on the absence of warfare, but on the presence of the Victor. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Trust not your own discernment to spot every deception; lean hard upon the Good Shepherd, who knows His sheep and whose voice they recognize. There are many counterfeits, many who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. From such turn away, not with proud isolation, but with humbled dependence upon the grace that keeps the weakest lamb from the wolf’s jaws.

Finally, let the object of your seeking ever be Christ Himself. Not love merely, but the God who is Love. Not knowledge alone, but the knowing of Him who is the Truth. All these apostolic prayers find their Amen in the Beloved. The righteousness you seek, the fruitfulness you crave, the steadfastness you lack, all are treasures hidden in Him. You are complete in Him. Your acceptance, your growth, your final perseverance, are all secured not by the tenacity of your grip upon Him, but by the omnipotence of His grip upon you. Let the knowledge that you are His own make every duty a delight and every trial a triumph. The same Father who qualified you for the inheritance will equip you for the journey. The love you are to pursue is the love that already pursues you. Rest in that, and every petition will be answered beyond what you ask or think.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for love to abound in knowledge and discernment, and rightly so, for there is a love that is not according to knowledge, which brings harm rather than good. The Apostle bids that your love abound “in knowledge and all discernment,” so that you may approve the things that are excellent, being sincere and without offence until the day of Christ. Many love simply and without judgment, and for this reason such friendships are weak and often become a stumbling block. Do not receive any spurious doctrine under the pretense of love; for if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. Love with wisdom, not with the harm of falsehood. This is what it means to be sincere before God and without offence before men.

You desire to walk worthily of the Lord, to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. This is a noble prayer, but see that you do not only know, but also do. He who knows without doing is on the way to punishment. The life set before us is a continual walk, not standing still, but ever advancing, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. And to this end you need to be strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy. Longsuffering toward one another, patience toward those without. For if you bear meekly the spiteful acts of enemies, you gain deliverance from sins, fortitude, patience, and a benevolence that makes even anger cease. He that knows not how to hate knows not how to grieve, but enjoys ten thousand blessings.

Yet all these things appear difficult only because we do not have the remembrance of God as we ought. If we carry Him about always in our thoughts, His remembrance will cause us to choose good things and to accomplish them. For as on a highway, if one finds the beginning, he is guided without need of a hand; so love is a pathway that leads of itself toward virtue. Only lay hold of its beginning, and you are at once directed. For love is the fulfilling of the law. If we were disposed toward others as toward ourselves, preferring them, wishing all good for them, doing all things for them, then all grievous things come to an end: no enmity, no covetousness, no remembrance of injuries. Who would overreach himself? Who would be angry with himself?

Remember the pilot who, having crossed many seas and storms, sinks in the very mouth of the harbor. After such labors, he will shrink from the sea and choose to live by begging rather than put his hand to the same works. So do not let your many prayers and longings end in spiritual shipwreck through a love that lacks discernment or a walk that grows weary. Be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord in all things. Whatever you do to your brother passes on to your Master, and He will reckon your reward accordingly. If you have this love, you will draw the Spirit to you, and the Spirit will make you warm and awakened, making all things easy. Then you will stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, being led by the Spirit as children, walking in paths of righteousness, hearing the voice of the Shepherd. And the God of patience and consolation will grant you to be likeminded toward one another according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
