🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discerning Insight, Wisdom to Choose Highest Phil 1:9-11, Consistently Knowing God & Serving GOD with Joy Col 1:9-12... 🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we thank You we can pursue love, pray in accord with the apostolic prayers, and ask in faith, “Our love would abound in all knowledge and discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast, FILLED with the fruits of RIGHTEOUSNESS), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is like, even to evil people), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

"FILL US with the knowledge of Your Will, in ALL spiritual wisdom AND understanding, so we WALK in a manner WORTHY of You, LORD, pleasing You in EVERY way, bearing fruit in EVERY good work, growing by INCREASING in the knowledge of God; STRENGTHENED with ALL POWER, by The MIGHT of YOUR GLORY, to ATTAIN ALL STEADFASTNESS and PATIENCE; JOYOUSLY giving THANKS to YOU, who QUALIFIED US to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:1-5,John 10:27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, keep us from deception, false teachers, wars, CONCERN about possible wars and attacks, famines, earthquakes, (as they all are necessary, but NOT to be alarmed, Mt 24:4-11. In fact, thank You for PRAYING for US, Rom 8:34, ALWAYS LIVING and INTERCEDING FOR US, Heb 7:25, probably as You prayed for Simon, that our FAITH will not fail and after we turns would strengthen everyone around us, Luke 22:31.

🙇🏻 Prepare us to face birth pangs and shakings with faith enough to help warn people what's coming, (as Noah did in his days, Gen 6:7, 2 Peter 3:5-6), preach the True Gospel: The virgin birth to fulfill prophecy, the sinless life, perfect teaching, confirmation He was Messiah by gifts, signs, wonders, conversions resulting in repentance, His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, pouring out the Promised Holy Spirit to live a Holy Life and witness of Jesus Christ Crucified, resulting in obedient ὑπακοὴν that comes from faith πίστεως among the Jewish People and all Nations alike, Matt 28:18-20, Acts 6:7, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18-19, Rom 16:25-27, James 1:22-23, James 2:8, 1 Peter 1:2, 1 John 5:3 and The 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ, Ps 96:13, Ps 98:9, Ecc 12:14, Acts 10:42, Acts 17:30-31, 2 Cor 5:10, 2 Thes 1:7-8, Rev 1:7, Rev 22:12, to provide spiritual and natural food, water, shelter, clothing and FAITH, Rom 10:17, Tit 3:8, correcting those who oppose gently, 2 Tim 2:25-26, for evil people and imposters are proceeding from bad to worse in these last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these as well, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to pursue love as commanded in Scripture. Your prayer is deeply aligned with God’s Word, and we join with you in seeking His perfect will. The apostle Paul’s prayers in Philippians 1:9-11 and Colossians 1:9-12 are beautiful blueprints for how we ought to pray, not only for ourselves but for one another. Let us break this down with reverence and clarity.

First, we affirm the pursuit of love that abounds in knowledge and discernment. This is not mere intellectual understanding but a deep, Spirit-led wisdom that enables us to distinguish between what is good, acceptable, and perfect in God’s sight (Romans 12:2). The world offers many counterfeit loves, loves that are self-serving, lustful, or rooted in emotionalism rather than godly commitment. We must guard our hearts against these deceptions, for "the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked" (Jeremiah 17:9). True love, as defined by Scripture, is patient, kind, not self-seeking, and does not rejoice in unrighteousness but in the truth (1 Corinthians 13:4-6). This love is only possible through the power of the Holy Spirit, who transforms us into the image of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18).

We also lift up the desire to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him. This requires a daily surrender to the leading of the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to bear fruit in every good work (Galatians 5:22-23). Too often, we fall into the trap of compartmentalizing our faith, allowing worldly influences to dictate our choices in relationships, finances, or entertainment. But Scripture calls us to a holistic devotion: "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). This includes how we conduct ourselves in courtship, ensuring that our relationships honor God and reflect His design for marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any relationship that does not align with this standard, including same-sex relationships or premarital intimacy, is a distortion of God’s perfect plan and must be repented of and turned away from.

We are grateful for your acknowledgment of the Lord’s intercession on our behalf. Jesus Christ, our Great High Priest, ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25), and we take comfort in knowing that He prays for our faith to remain steadfast (Luke 22:32). This truth should embolden us to stand firm in the face of trials, knowing that our faith is being refined like gold (1 Peter 1:7). The birth pangs and shakings of this world are not to be feared but seen as signs of Christ’s imminent return. We must be like Noah, who warned his generation of the coming judgment while faithfully obeying God’s commands (Hebrews 11:7). Our response to these times should not be panic but proclamation, the proclamation of the true Gospel, which is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).

The Gospel you outlined is the only message that can transform hearts and prepare souls for eternity. It is not a social gospel, a prosperity gospel, or a gospel of tolerance for sin. It is the unadulterated truth of Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and glorious return. This Gospel demands repentance, a turning away from sin and a turning toward God in faith (Acts 20:21). It is not enough to merely hear the Word; we must be doers of it (James 1:22). This means living lives of obedience, even when it is unpopular or costly. We must reject the false teachers and deceivers who twist Scripture to justify sin, whether it be sexual immorality, greed, or idolatry (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Instead, we must hold fast to the Word of God, which is "profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).

We also take seriously your plea for protection from evil and deception. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), and we must be sober and vigilant. This includes guarding our minds from the lies of the world, which often masquerade as truth. We must test every spirit to see whether it is from God (1 John 4:1) and cling to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21). This is especially critical in relationships, where emotional attachments can cloud our judgment. We must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), for what fellowship has light with darkness? Instead, we must seek spouses who share our commitment to Christ and His Word, so that our marriages may be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Let us now pray together, lifting these truths before the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We thank You for the privilege of pursuing love that is rooted in Your truth and guided by Your Spirit. Lord, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You in every way. Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may have endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to You, who have qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:9-12).

Father, we ask that our love would abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, so that we may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-11). Guard our hearts from the deceptions of this world, and help us to discern between what is of You and what is not. Give us the courage to turn away from relationships, habits, or influences that do not align with Your Word. If there is any area of our lives where we have compromised Your standards, reveal it to us, Lord, and grant us the grace to repent and walk in righteousness.

We pray for those who are seeking spouses, that You would lead them to godly men and women who share their faith and commitment to You. Protect them from the temptation to settle for less than Your best or to enter into relationships that dishonor You. May their courtships be marked by purity, mutual respect, and a shared vision for marriage as You designed it. For those who are already married, we ask that You strengthen their unions, that they may reflect the love of Christ and the Church. Heal any brokenness, restore any lost intimacy, and help them to prioritize their relationship with You above all else.

Lord, we also lift up those who are facing trials, whether they be persecution, financial hardship, or personal struggles. Give them the faith to stand firm, knowing that You are with them and that Your grace is sufficient for every need (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help us to be bold in proclaiming the Gospel, even in the face of opposition. May we be like the early apostles, who rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer for Your name (Acts 5:41). Prepare us for the days ahead, that we may be found faithful when Christ returns.

Protect us from the evil one and from the deception of false teachers. Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and help us to walk in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). We pray for practical wisdom in every decision, that we may choose what is highest and most excellent, according to Your will. May our lives bear the fruit of righteousness, which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:11).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill us with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May we be a light in this dark world, pointing others to the hope that is found in You alone. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
