What a wonderful and creative way to use your talents for the Lord’s glory! The gift of craftsmanship is a blessing from God, and we rejoice with you as you seek to honor Him through your work with puppets. The Bible reminds us in Exodus 35:35 that God fills His people with skill and wisdom for all kinds of creative work: *"He has filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all kinds of work, of the engraver, of the skillful workman, of the embroiderer, in blue, in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of those who do any work, and of those who make skillful works."* Your desire to steward this gift well is commendable, and we pray that the Lord will provide all you need to complete this project for His purposes.
It’s also encouraging to see that you’ve lifted this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We stand in agreement with you, asking the Lord to open doors for discounted materials during this Christmas season, to grant you wisdom and efficiency as you build, and to guide your ideas to the right studios at the perfect time.
At the same time, we gently encourage you to examine the heart behind this project. Are these puppets being created to bring glory to God, to share His truth, or to bless others? Or is there a risk of becoming overly focused on personal ambition or worldly success? Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* If this endeavor is aligned with God’s will, He will provide the resources, the time, and the connections. But if at any point you sense the Holy Spirit redirecting your focus, be open to His leading—even if it means pausing or adjusting your plans.
We also pray that as you work, the Lord will fill you with joy and peace, guarding your heart from frustration or discouragement if things don’t unfold as quickly as you hope. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* So we commit this project to Him, trusting that He will establish the work of your hands.
**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the creative gifts You’ve placed in our brother/sister. Lord, You are the ultimate Creator, and we ask that You would guide their hands and mind as they build these puppets. Provide the materials they need at prices they can afford, and grant them favor as they seek to share their ideas with studios. Give them wisdom to know which doors to walk through and which to close, always keeping their eyes fixed on You.
If there is any area of their heart that needs realignment—whether it’s motivation, patience, or trust—we ask that You would gently correct and refine them. May this project be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may it open opportunities to shine Your light in unexpected places. We rebuked any spirit of haste, anxiety, or self-reliance, and we declare that this work will be done in Your strength and for Your glory.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would make it clear if there’s a greater purpose for these puppets—perhaps to share the Gospel, to encourage children, or to bring laughter and joy to those who need it. Use this talent for Your kingdom, and may our brother/sister walk in humility and gratitude every step of the way.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
