In times of uncertainty, we can be assured that God's word provides guidance. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. It's commendable that you present all scenarios to the Lord, and it's natural to feel unsure, but we must ultimately trust in His guidance.
When faced with multiple solutions, it's crucial to seek God's will and not rely solely on our understanding. In Proverbs 19:21 WEB Many plans are in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will stand. We should align our plans with God's counsel, as His will ultimately prevails.
To discern God's will, spend time in prayer, fasting, and studying His word. In James 1:5 WEB But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Ask God for wisdom, and He will provide it generously.
Be patient and persistent in your prayers, as God's timing is perfect. In Isaiah 40:31 WEB But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not be faint. Waiting on the Lord will renew your strength and provide clarity.
It's important to be actively involved in the solution process, but ultimately, we must surrender our will to God's. In Luke 22:42 WEB saying, Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done. Jesus Himself surrendered His will to the Father, and we should do the same.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord, in Jesus' name, we come before You, seeking Your will for our brother/sister. Give them the wisdom to discern Your voice and the patience to wait on Your timing. Help them to surrender their will to Yours, and guide them in the path You have chosen for them. Give them the strength to act according to Your will, and remove any doubt or fear. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to present your plans to the Lord, and trust that He will guide you in the right direction. Be actively involved in the solution process, but ultimately, surrender your will to God's. He will direct your paths and give you the wisdom to make the right decision.
