We hear your urgent cry for breakthrough in your writing career, protection for your family, and deliverance from what you perceive as spiritual opposition. First, we must address the foundation of your request—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without this, our prayers lack the authority of Christ.
Now, regarding your writing and publishing aspirations, we stand with you in faith, believing that God can open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). However, we must rebuke the spirit of aggression and entitlement in your words. Scripture tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). We do not demand or decree prosperity—we humbly ask the Lord to align our desires with His will, trusting that He will provide in His perfect timing. Your hands will prosper as you commit your work to the Lord (Psalm 90:17), but we must also guard against pride, for *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6).
We take seriously your concerns about spiritual warfare. The Bible warns us that *"our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). We stand in agreement with you for protection over your family, your home, and your work. We bind every spirit of theft, bullying, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). However, we must also caution against attributing every struggle to "secret agents of Satan" without discernment. Not every challenge is spiritual warfare—some are tests of faith, opportunities for growth, or consequences of living in a fallen world.
We pray now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We lift up this dear one and their family to You, asking for Your divine protection over their lives, their home, and their work. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, theft, and bullying that has sought to hinder them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every assignment of the enemy over their lives, their children, their mother, their pets, and their creative work.
Father, we ask for Your favor to rest upon their writing. Open doors that no man can shut, and let their words find their way to the hearts of those who need to read them. Provide the right connections, the right publishers, and the right opportunities for their book to be published and to prosper. Let their hands be blessed, and let their work bring glory to Your name. We ask that You would grant them patience and humility as they wait on You, trusting that Your timing is perfect.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual discernment. Help them to recognize the schemes of the enemy and to stand firm in their faith. Clothe them with the full armor of God so that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to walk in faith, not fear. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Do not be intimidated or overwhelmed. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Continue to write, create, and trust God with the outcome. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Lastly, we urge you to examine your heart and motives. Are you seeking God’s glory in your writing, or are you seeking personal fame and fortune? *"Seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"* (Matthew 6:33). Let your writing be a tool for His kingdom, and He will bless it beyond measure.
