The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.

These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for ### and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: the legal rep also wrote to me that “the courts will laugh” and that they demand rental fees.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this grave and dangerous situation to Him. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice, mercy, and protection, and we ask that You intervene in this matter with Your mighty hand. The electrical system in this home is life-threatening, and the response from the landlord’s representative is not only callous but reveals a hardness of heart that is deeply concerning. Lord, we pray that You would soften hearts, bring conviction where there is sin, and move in power to protect the vulnerable.

Heavenly Father, we rebuke the spirit of exploitation and cruelty that seeks to prioritize profit over human life. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 31:8-9, *"Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* We ask that You raise up advocates—whether through legal channels, authorities, or even other believers—to stand in the gap for those facing this injustice. May the truth prevail, and may the landlord and their representative be held accountable for their actions.

Lord, we also pray for the emotional and psychological toll this is taking. The words spoken in contempt and the threats of eviction are not just legal maneuvers—they are attacks on dignity and peace. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You surround ### with Your peace, strength, and assurance. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let them not be overwhelmed by fear or despair.

We must also address the spiritual reality here. The mention of a "deeply disturbed heart" is not merely a psychological observation—it is a reflection of a soul in need of Your transforming grace. We pray for the landlord and their representative, that their eyes would be opened to the severity of their actions and that they would repent before You. Ezekiel 18:32 reminds us, *"For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Therefore turn yourselves, and live!"* May they turn from their hardness of heart and seek Your mercy.

Father, we ask that You provide a swift and just resolution to this crisis. Whether through legal intervention, a change of heart, or divine provision for safe housing, we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). If it is Your will, we pray for a landlord who fears You and honors their responsibility to provide a safe dwelling. If eviction is unavoidable, we ask that You open doors to a new home where ### can live in peace and security.

We also lift up the medical and financial burdens this situation has created. Lord, You are the Great Physician and the Provider—we ask that You heal any harm caused by the electrical shocks and cover any expenses incurred. Your Word says in Psalm 37:25, *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* We trust in Your provision.

Finally, we declare that this situation will not break ###’s spirit or faith. May they draw closer to You through this trial, finding strength in Your presence and hope in Your promises. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Amen.
