We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this deeply troubling situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we declare that You are the God of justice, mercy, and righteousness, and we ask You to intervene in this life-threatening circumstance. The electrical hazards in this home are not merely an inconvenience—they are a direct threat to life, and no one should be forced to endure such danger while being mocked for seeking basic safety and dignity.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of greed, callousness, and oppression that is at work in this situation. The words spoken by the landlord’s representative reveal a heart hardened against compassion and justice. Scripture warns us in Proverbs 21:13, *"Whoever stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he will also cry out, but shall not be heard."* Father, we pray that You would soften the hearts of those involved, that they would recognize the severity of this danger and act with integrity. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand against the lies and intimidation being used to exploit and harm.
We also lift up the emotional and psychological toll this is taking. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly. We pray for peace, strength, and clarity for those facing this injustice. May they not be overwhelmed by fear or despair, but instead trust in You, their Refuge and Strong Tower (Psalm 61:3). Lord, grant them wisdom in navigating the legal process and favor in the eyes of those who can bring resolution.
Father, we ask that You would expose any corruption or unethical behavior in this matter. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and may those who are acting unjustly be held accountable. We pray for protection over the home and those living there—guard them from harm, both physically and spiritually. Provide a way out of this situation, whether through legal recourse, a safe relocation, or a supernatural intervention that only You can bring.
We also address the lack of comfort and basic human decency being denied. Scripture commands us in 1 John 3:17, *"But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?"* Lord, convict those who are withholding justice and compassion. May they see the error of their ways and repent.
Lastly, we declare that this situation will not end in defeat but in victory. We trust in Your promise in Romans 12:19, *"Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* We release this burden into Your hands, knowing that You see, You hear, and You will act on behalf of the oppressed.
In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray for immediate protection, justice, and provision. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
