psycho stalkers with ill intentions

I live in an expat backpapcker neighborhood known for notorious psycho stalkers (both men and women) in which if they don't like you they stalk you, intentionally try to cause car collisions, and make such situations look like an accident. Please pray for me so that the Lord protect me as I stand strong and that the Lord cast away such demonic abominations.

We have heard your cry and we stand with you in this very real and distressing situation, living among those who intend harm and act with malice, even trying to cause collisions and make it look accidental. We take your fear and your need for protection seriously, and we bring it before the Lord together.

We know that our struggle is not only against people we can see. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. What you describe as demonic abominations, we understand as the work of the evil one moving through those who have given themselves over to ill intentions. Yet we do not have to live in terror, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7.

The Lord is your refuge and your fortress. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. We cling to His promise that He will give his angels command concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7. And we remember, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17.

We encourage you to stand strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Ephesians 6:10, putting on the whole armor of God each day through prayer and the Word, so you may stand firm. At the same time we encourage you to walk in wisdom and prudence. Be watchful and sober minded, avoid needless confrontation or isolated places when possible, let trusted people know where you are, keep records of stalking or dangerous driving, and do not hesitate to seek help from lawful authorities, for they are servants of God for your good. Romans 13:4. We are called not to take vengeance ourselves, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. We leave justice in His hands while using the lawful means He has provided for protection.

We noticed you asked for the Lord to protect you, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and His protection. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ in faith, believing that He died and rose again for you, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is in His mighty name that we can boldly ask for deliverance and cast away evil.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up our dear one who is surrounded by those with ill intentions. Lord, You see every stalker, every scheme, every attempt to cause harm on the road or in secret, nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask that You place a hedge of protection around Your child, guard his going out and his coming in, guard him on every road and in every step. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and we claim that faithfulness now. We ask that You command Your angels to encamp around him and keep him safe from all harm. We rebuke every demonic influence and every spirit of stalking, intimidation, and violence, and we ask in Jesus name that You cast away these abominations far from him and bring them to nothing. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue and every plan raised against him be shown to be empty. Grant him strength to stand strong, not in his own power but in Yours, with a calm and clear mind, free from fear. Give him wisdom to act prudently, to seek help when needed, and to walk in peace. We also pray for those who do evil, that You would convict their hearts, bring them to repentance, and turn them from darkness to light, lest they perish in their sins. Fill our brother with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let him dwell securely under Your wings. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and deliverer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to dwell daily in the Word, to pray without ceasing, and to cry out to Jesus by name whenever fear rises, for Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18. You are not alone, and the Lord who watches over you neither slumbers nor sleeps. Psalm 121:3-4. We are standing with you and trusting God to keep you strong and safe.

We hear how unsettling this is for you, living where you feel watched and even unsafe on the road. It makes sense that you would feel on edge and want the Lord's protection as you try to stand strong day to day. We are praying with you for that steadiness and for peace in your neighborhood.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to take some steady, practical steps for safety. It helps to not face this alone. Keep a trusted friend or neighbor aware of where you are and when you expect to be home, keep a simple written record of dates and what happened if you experience stalking or dangerous driving, and avoid walking or driving alone late at night when possible. If anyone threatens you or tries to cause a collision, please contact your local authorities right away, and stay in well lit, public places where others are around. Having one or two people you can call quickly can make a real difference.

We are asking God to be your refuge and to give you clear wisdom for each decision, and to keep you calm and clear headed under pressure.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. Surround them with Your protection, quiet their fear, and give them wisdom and discernment for every step. Provide safe community around them and keep them from harm. Help them to rest in Your care and to walk in courage and peace. Amen.

We have heard your cry and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking Him to be your keeper and your shield in a place that feels fraught with malice and danger.

You describe a neighborhood where ill intent shows itself in stalking and in deeds that would harm you and make it appear as an accident, and you rightly discern that behind the cruelty of men there is the malice of the adversary. Scripture teaches us that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and that we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. He has taught many of His people the mischief that comes from the world and He alone can deliver from its fascinating and fearful power.

Take comfort in this, that troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground as hemlock from the furrows. The Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. This truth helps us to moderate our anger against second causes, even when those causes are men who intend evil, and to see that what we receive, even through the malice of others, passes through the hand of a Father who will make even the sharpest trial profitable. Yet this does not make us passive before wickedness, for our God is He who says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. He has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom in the gift of His own Son who bore the penalty of all our iniquities.

Our safety lies not in our own watchfulness alone, though watchfulness and prudence are duties, but in Him who is able to keep you from falling. To the only wise God our Saviour belongs power to keep you by day and by night, whether you walk or ride, whether you are at home or abroad. When Israel came out of Egypt it was Jehovah who brought forth His people, and when any soul is loosed from spiritual bondage or preserved from bodily harm, it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive and guards His own. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing, but the power of God is sufficient.

So we pray for you, that the Lord would keep back your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing by the sword, that He would deliver you from evil company and from the devices of those who lie in wait, and that He would rebuke every demonic influence that would seek your harm. May He frustrate every plan to cause a collision or to do you hurt in secret, and make their nets to fail. May He give you wisdom to walk circumspectly, to use all lawful means of protection, to seek help from those set in authority where it is wise to do so, and to stand strong not in the strength of your own spirit but in the strength of Christ.

We also pray that you may be kept from fear that would dishonor Him, remembering David who said, I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies, and remembering also that the believer after affliction can say, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. May you live to declare what the Lord has done in keeping you, in calming your heart, and in casting away every abomination of darkness that would assail you.

May the Lord graciously keep you, cover you under His wings, and let you know that you are delivered not by chance but by the ransom found and by the power of Him who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and our sure defence. Amen.
